Let's Get Real:

The Democratic Party is being taken over by the LEFT, Trump calls them Communist, this faction has no understanding of the US, one can argue that they don't like the US much, J.Edgar Hoover would have had a field day with them, this faction could do with being bugged.  They are dangerous, as Trump took over the Republicans, the hard left is trying to take over the Democratic Party.  The question is can LEFT wing Candidates win in the fly over States, then we come to 2028 schedule for Presidential Primaries, the Democrats have decided to keep South Caroline as the 1st Primary, due to the African - American vote, last time this was done was to help President Biden in his re-election in 24, and we all know how that ended, they forgot that Barack Obama won the Iowa caucus in 08, a majority White state, it showed he could win White votes, the rest in history.  Then we have the problem of Iowa and New Hampshire, NH has a legal requirement that they go first in Primaries, so who will break first, NH or the Democratic Party.  Thus the same issue with Iowa, they tend to go first, small States that can road test candidates, many a candidate has been broken in Iowa and NH or seen their campaigns rise in the polls, Clinton in 1992.  The Democrats could be creating their own defeat in 26 and 28.

Thus if the ceasefire survives in till Friday, POTUS is sending his VP to Pakistan for talks with Iran.  The VP is known to have opposed the War with Iran.  The VP wants to run in 2028, the anti war base of MAGA, will want a deal.  The Oval wants any blame for failure to go to Vance, that is the point of VP's to take on unpopular issues, VP Harris had the border, Bush 41 had to deal with Ross Perot when he came to complain to the Reagan White House about the perceived issue that Vietnam was still holding American POW's from the Vietnam War.  President Reagan knew that Bush 41 knew him thus give the negative job of telling Perot that he was wrong to his loyal VP.  The aftershock was that Perot ran against Bush 41 in the 1992 Presidential Election.  The Gipper was wise, any problems send in the VP, thus no political hassle for the Oval.   Thus a major job for Vance and his career ambitions to be POTUS.

The Hamas terrorist group has stated that it will accept a new peace deal, the Israeli Government has said that Hamas is playing games, one assumes they have seen the student protest in the US and think they can play the US and Biden, they might be right, the Biden Oval is in tight spot, the extreme left of the Democratic Base want to appease HAMAS, they hate Israel and takes as truthful the views of Hamas.  If Biden wants to win in November, he will keep supporting Israel, the left wing base is SMALL, its the economy STUPID.  One does hope that the OVAL OFFICE does not listen to the State Department, they are appears at the end of the day, like FCO in the UK.

As someone more intelligent than this blog said, its the Economy Stupid, this was utterance was made during the 1992 Presidential Election, after the end of the first Gulf War 1, Bush 41 look like he was on a easy path to re-election, then a mild recession hit and Bush 41 under pressure from Congress rose taxes, this was seen in the long term as benefiting the US, but at the time Bush 41 was seen to  have broken his word of NO NEW TAXES, that was the theme of the 1988 Presidential Election.   The above is to place in context the hiking of inflation to a thirty year high, also Biden Agenda will take time to get in action, there are no shovel ready projects yet, and they might start after the 2022 Mid Terms.  The infrastructure act will take time, and Biden's welfare bill will cost trillions no matter what the projected outcome, one you give people a benefit, it is very HARD to take it back, that is what the Democrats are counting on.   The question is will Senator Joe Manchin vote for the welfare package, the noises from the Senator are not good.  Thus if maybe turns in to a FIRM NO, the Biden Agenda is finished on the Hill.  Next year the House and Senate are up for election, it will be everyone man ( generic use of the word ) for himself, and like the Titanic they will not be enough lifeboats.

The Bush family is part of the American elite, Bush 43's grandfather was a US Senator, his father was Vice - President and President in his own right from 1989 to 1993 when he failed to win re-election in 1992.   Then Bush 43 who was twice elected Governor of Texas was elected in 2000 or selected by the US Supreme Court, take your pick on that.  The Bush Dynasty has class and understands history, Bush 43 is a great reader of history, and understands the importance of form, if they are not ill former Presidents normally attend the swearing in of their successor.  One does not see Trump attending events with former Presidents, he is thinking of 2024 and can he keep his base within the Republican Party.  The Republican Party needs a new Reagan someone who can go to toe with Trump and has loads of charisma, WHO IS THE QUESTION?

POTUS will break any rules to get a better poll numbers, let's recall that Jimmy Carter gave a convention speech in 1980 but then did the Rose Garden strategy when fighting Ronald Reagan for a 2nd term.  Those that decry Trump by saying its political are two faced, EVERYTHING in D.C is political, as when Carter did his campaign from the Rose Garden, giving the impression that affairs of state were to important to leave for a campaign, that did not work, Reagan won 44 States and become the 40th President.  Trump might think it would better to have a foreign policy crisis, do not be surprised if a conflict breaks out between the US and Iran, the bombing of Tehran might go down well the US voter.  There are many tricks that Trump can pull, its not over till the Fat Lady sings.   The Tehran Regime would be advised to keep quiet and not give Trump a REASON to bomb Iran.   They will get a better break from a future Biden Administration.

POTUS could be setting a trap for Democrats, the Democratic Governors will be accused of wanting the economy to dive, as in their view it helps their vote in November.   If the Democratic Governors on the West and East coach take their time they will be accused of being more interested in politics than the economy well being of the US.  Trump has a very LOYAL BASE, at around 42% of the country, if he can make a plea that will stick that he can get the US economy going again, if will be HARD for Democrats to beat him.

Sanders LEADS in New Hampshire - Election 2020

It can be postulated that Speaker Pelosi is the least favourite person in the Sanders camp at the moment, the Senate Impeachment Trial starts this week and Senators Sanders will be off the campaign for weeks, right smack in the Iowa and NH elections.  The US Senators did not have the balls to tell Pelosi to get a move on, thus they are stuck in D.C, this will open the field for Biden and Mayor Pete, they should spend every hour of every day in Iowa and NH, their faces should drive the poor voters mad, that is the way to win in these States, they have seen the greats before, they all come to NH to either kickstart their campaign or save their campaign, even Reagan after not entering IOWA in 1980 had to stop Bush 41 in NH, the rest is history.  Bill Clinton was saved his campaign in 1992 and become the nominee.  This is the time for Biden and Mayor Pete to show they the gifts in this open field to take the PRIZE and end Sanders and Warren while they sulk in D.C.  Politics is a ruthless business. 

Not the TIME for Beto ? - 2020 Democratic Race

As stated on Meet the Press, the reason that Beto is getting press and air time it down to the fact that he is good looking and young.  The Democrats want another Bill Clinton ( without the scandal ) or Barack Obama.  The problem is that Beto has never really been tested, yes he was in the House for three terms, and ran for Senator in Texas, a Texas Democrat might not be a normal Democrat, Beto said he was a capitalist when asked about his economic view, the Democrats have gone LEFT, very LEFT, they might not elect a young white guy with odd teeth, however earnest and good looking he might be.   He is no JFK or RFK, there is no record to Beto, he streams he his thoughts on social media, very much like Donald Trump.  One can postulate that he is looking to be the VP nominee to Joe Biden should he win the nomination.  This is not 1992, when the Democrats nominated Bill Clinton and Al Gore,  the Democrats will want a female, ethnic candidate to be the VP, sorry that does not mean Senator Warren ( let's not discuss her claim to be from Native - American decent ).   Let's see how Beto does in the debates, there will be a lot of candidates, let's see who shines. 

HRC is OUT for 2020 - Trump Era

THIS is really the end of the Clinton Era for the Democrats, the Clintons have been the nominee or running since 1992.   Of course Bill Clinton become President in 1992, beating Bush 41, while in 1996 he beat the WW2 war hero, Senator Bob Dole.   In 2008 HRC was seen as the presumptive Democratic Nominee, but then Senator Barack Obama came along, he appointed HRC as his first Secretary of State, then HRC in 2016 won the Democratic Nomination beating Senator Bernie Sanders, it was expected that she would easily beat Donald Trump, her defeat was the most shocking since 1948, when President Truman was written off by the press.   One must ask why HRC is not running, it can be postulated that she has seen the Democratic Party go to the LEFT, and if she did run she might not get out of the Primary races, also former VP Biden expected to run in 2020.  Thus the ERA of the Clinton as a power within the Democratic Party has come to the end, one wonders what they will do to fill up their time, one would presume, write books, do speeches, support Democratic candidates, do charity work, that is a major LET DOWN from the Presidency.   HRC could blame Bill Clinton for defeat in 2016, when President Clinton was being impeached the Democrats argued that his personal actions did not hinder his official role, well that has made it easier for Donald Trump, a billionaire and TV reality star to become President, the voters had accepted that the personal life of political leaders did not matter, it is what they could do for them when it came their personal lives that mattered.  Thus Bill Clinton did not pay a legal cost for his impeachment, the political cost was paid by his Vice President Al Gore in 2000 and HRC in 2016.

Lets Get Real:

When POTUS is peeved about the press that he gets, he goes on a Twitter fury, as to if he is being real about DACA and NAFTA that is open to question.   If DACA goes down the toilet it would be seen as a good thing by Trump supporters, the same with NAFTA, when it comes to immigration the Trump supporter thinks the US has to much of them, and as for NAFTA it seen as killing old job structures and allowing cheaper goods in to the US, thus harming home produced products.   On the whole POTUS has seen a surge in his approval ratings, that might be the US economy is on fire, unemployment is down to figures not seen since 1973, the stock market has taken a hit but still a better investment in the long term.   Also one has to factor in the tax cuts of the first year of the Trump Presidency.   POTUS has stated he is running for a 2nd term, one would be foolish to think that Trump can not win a 2nd term.  Every President since Reagan has gotten a 2nd term, with the exception of Bush 41, and he lost because he raised taxes when he promised not too.  The Democrats have no firm leader, and Trump has a Summit with the leader of North Korea, that should be interesting, what if Trump has a successful Summit, that could help him in 2020.

POTUS is playing to his base, he wants any Government closed down to be the fault of the Democrats, he knows that the bases wants TAX CUTS not TAX INCREASES, the Democrats always want to increase taxes, Bush 41 promised no new taxes in 1988 and then folded once in power, this cost him his re-election in 1992.   The Oval has to try and get the Republicans in the Senate to pass a tax cut, that would be a great victory.

The Republicans are always on safe ground when they support tax cuts, limited government and being tough on Russia, on this last part the Trump Oval is far to nice to the Russians, whatever the reason.  One does wonder if the old FSB, the successor to the KGB has anything on Trump, otherwise why is POTUS so nice to the Russians.

HRC expected to win in 2016, the Crown was there for the taking, and she failed.   Whatever you think of President Trump he had his finger on the pulse of the US voter, the same as Bill Clinton had in 1992.   The sexual allegations against Bill Clinton should have taken him down in 1992 and they didn't,  the US voter wanted someone who would fix the economy, the same with Trump,   The Clintons created Trump in way in 1998, the liberal defence of Bill Clinton at its core was that the affair with the intern did not stop him doing his job, the US Presidency in their eyes did not mean you had to have a morale President, well then you have Trump in 2016.  On Fox News it was reported that Bill Clinton asked HRC why she was not doing polling and going to the rust belt States, HRC it is stated told the Old Hound Dog that he didn't understand modern politics or how data was used as a tool in modern elections.   A pastor on CNN stated a wise thought, " Data does not vote ".   HRC did not need the FBI to lose in 2016, that is a lesson that some ultra loyal Clinton supporters do not understand, HRC is a BAD CANDIDATE, she learned nothing from the Old Hound Dog.

The Election 2016 Ghost, HRC is back in the spotlight, she is blaming everyone else for her defeat from Putin to the DNC, and by linkage the Obama Administration.   One gets the feeling that HRC wants to run in 2020, you can see the mind process, Trump is a disaster, I look good, I am a Leader, the US needs me as President.  In her soul she must be thinking, I stood by Bill, I am owed it by the Party and the Country.   In the real world, HRC is a two time loser, she lost to Obama in 2008 and to Trump in 2016, by taking up all the air in the room it is making harder for new faces to shine, at present the leaders and hopefuls for 2020 are in their 70s, more OAP Party than youth.  It seems that the dim young, prefer older leaders, that must be the sole reason for the success of Jeremy Corbyn in 2017.   At some point the powerful interests with the Democratic Party have to make it clear to HRC that  it is over, SHE LOST, there are no third chapters in US politics, she is no Reagan.

This blog wants Jeremy Corbyn to stay on as Labour Leader, he is perfect leader for the Conservatives to be in power for decades ahead.   IF Labour does not dump Corbyn it will be the Opposition Party that becomes a joke, a Party has to be ruthless, the Conservatives to their shame got rid of Lady Thatcher, they went on to win the 1992 election against the odds.   The Conservative Party should go for a HARD Brexit, lets cut all ties with the EU, what has the EU ever done for YOU?.   The urban elite might have benefit out of the EU, the rest of us have not, a good day to be a Conservative.

This is not new for new teams to take time to get together, in the transfer between Bush 41 and Bill Clinton it took the Clinton team months to get the right Attorney General due to various issues with the candidates.   The elite media is looking for anything to attack the new Trump Administration with and its not in power yet.   As stated the elite in various sectors need to chill, once the the Trump Administration is in power it can be critical.   The reports just make the media look like BAD losers.

BILL CLINTON knows about winning elections, he is a two term President, okay he is not the same man as he was then, having heart surgery does change people, but he is a natural pol, he wants to feel your pain.  HRC has no one to blame but herself, she had the idea of a private email server, and used it for secret and top secret information, no wonder the FBI had to investigate her, any one else would be JAIL by now, in a black hole of jail with the key thrown away.   This is the time second time HRC has lost an election to be President, if she wants a third run whe will have to listen to Bill, if she did not listen in the past that is HER fault.

Lets Get Real:

In the day the Clintons were the future, well correct that, Bill Clinton was the future, he won two terms as President, even at the cost of losing the House to Republicans.  With the exception of President Obama the later nominees have been losers, Gore lost Bush 43 in 2000, then Senator Kerry lost in 2004.  In 2008 Obama was elected and served two terms, of course he defeated HRC in 2008, that was supposed to be the year of HRC, but she lost to the young Senator.   Then eight years later HRC defeated the left wing Senator Sanders but lost to Donald Trump in the general election.   The Democrats have to cut the Clintons lose, there TIME is over when it comes to leading the Democratic Party, they need another Bill Clinton or Obama, the safe bet is no longer the right bet.

The Debate Part 2 - Election 2016

Thus my projection for tonight, well on basic political grounding the debate should go to HRC.  The candidate and her campaign know this could be IT, the time that the US voters decide on the result.   On the other hand in 1960 JFK won the first debate, those that just heard the debate on the radio thought Nixon had won, and in the further debates the Nixon Campaigned closed the contest down, thus making the narrow historic win for JFK.    The next time there were Presidential debates was in 1976, Nixon decided he was not going through 1960 again in 68 or 72.  In 1976 President Ford stated that Eastern Europe was not under the control of the USSR, that cost the Ford Campaign.   On January 1977 Jimmy Carter was elected.  In 1980 88 million Americans watched the Carter vs. Reagan debate. the Gipper won and then the election.  In 1992 Bush 41 showed his distaste for the debate by looking at watch, as to check when it would be finished.   The only result was the he was finished and thus come the Clintons.   The above are examples, it will be interesting to see who WINS tonight and the perceived winner after a few days.

The last person to give advice to Jeremy Corbyn should be Neil Kinnock, he lost the 1992 election with his windbag speech in Sheffield.   The former Labour leader is pro Europe, the problem is that the rest of the people, actual voters have shown by a million votes that they want out of the EU.    The liberal left of the Labour Party, the Guardian, the BBC will never understand the saner UK voter, they live in a bubble, while the rest of main street have to live paycheque to paycheque, the UK VOTER has stated its view on the EU, time the liberal elite opened their ears to real votes and people.
