AV Vote and other REFORMS
BBC News: Reports on the statement by the UK Deputy Prime Minister that the Referendum on voting reform will take place on May 5th 2011, also in the package the reduction of the House of Commons from 650 to 600 MPs and for electors to be even in each Seat. The last reform could be the most important folks, if by May next year the Government is not popular then the Lib Dems could lose the Referendum but the balance of electors in each seat could help the Conservatives, as it was found during the last election that it took more Conservative votes to elect an MP than it took to elect a Labour Candidate. This blog will fight to keep first past the post, okay it has gave us thirteen years of Labour miss rule but the UK does get strong Government. Lets see if Nick Clegg can keep his party in the Coalition should they lose the Referendum.
