Tony Blair on Biden's Afghanistan Policy = imbecilic - Biden Era

Sky News: Reports " Tony Blair says US and UK troops should have stayed put 'to see it through' as withdrawal could lead to UK 'security threat'.. Tony Blair's comments come a day after he published a 2,700 word article on Afghanistan in which he referred to President Biden's decision to withdraw troops as "imbecilic".

Lets Get Real:

The former PM is right, the UK and the US should have stayed in Afghanistan, there are recent report that IS ( Daesh ) is a threat to those waiting to get to the Allies Gate. For the sake of US and UK honour the Allies have to get out those Afghan Citizens who worked for the Allies.  The Biden decision was made my a POTUS who thinks he is always on right on foreign policy, who will be brave to tell him that he does not have a clue, that he has undermined NATO, other allies will be worried that the word of an American President is not worth the paper it is written on.  China will think they have a chance to take over Taiwan, they will see Biden as a empty suite, while Russia might try to take over the West of the Ukraine.   The Tehran Regime might think it should go nuclear, as they will not see Biden doing anything.  This might force the hand of Israel to take action, they can not trust the Biden White House to take action.  God forbid if North Korea presses its luck on the border between South Korea and North Korea.

Lets Get Real:

The last thing that POTUS can afford is to leave American citizens in Afghanistan controlled by the TALIBAN, the Americans could become hostages if the Taliban start to return to form, they could demand that the West gives the financial support before they allow Americans to leave.  It would make the Iran hostage crisis look like happy hour at the pub.  The Democrats with long memories will recall how the Iran hostage crisis defined the Carter Administration from 1979 to 1981.  The Democrats will be worried that there could be US hostages in Afghanistan at the time of the Mid Terms in 2022.  Let's be frank, in pure political terms, its getting the Americans out, and some of the Afghans, they are less important to the Biden Oval, he either sends in more troops to the airport or does a runner in a few days.
