Guardian: Reports that France has stated that the Gaddafi Security Forces in Misurata are using human shields to prevent NATO attacks. This is why the Allies of the UK and France, sooner or later if they want to finish this conflict in Libya will have to place ground troops on the Libyan soil. The idea of giving arms to the Eastern rebels has caused some worry, this was the Western policy in Afghanistan during the Cold War, and the end result was the birth of the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Thus to finish the conflict there should be a statement from the UK and France that Gaddafi has 24 hours to get out of town or face troops on the ground, this would be a limited operation, in and out, no long term occupation, just surgical strike and WIN.
A look at the Politics of the United States and the UK. The Foreign Policies of both countries and how they behave in the International Community.

Misurata Paradox = Libya
Telegraph Live: Reports from the BBC that rebels in the Western City of Misurata are reporting that the Gaddafi Security Forces are destroying the town. The UN Resolution 1973 called for the protection of innocent bystanders in the Libyan Civil War, but the Gaddafi Security Forces have tanks in hidden in Misurata, they are very hard to hit from the Air without causing innocent bystanders to be hurt or killed. Thus the frustration by the Eastern rebels that NATO has not gone in harder, the more time Gaddafi has the harder to get rid of him, a peaceful Libya is not possible with the Gaddafi family still in charge of the country. Thus the paradox of the UN 1973, it might allow Gaddafi to remain in power, that would hurt Libya and Arab spring.

More RAF Attack Planes - Libya
BBC News: Reports that the RAF should shortly have twenty attack planes in its operation in Libya. The need for more RAF planes comes about due to the fact that the Obama Administration has removed its own planes, this shows that POTUS has abdicated the leadership of the West, who would have thought that it would be the UK and France leading NATO in its latest military operation. The question is how much is this going to cost and how long can the UK and France keep public opinion on its side. What point does the UK either arm the rebels and allow them to win Libya or go home and allow Colonel Gaddafi to win.
