This intervention by Piers Morgan will go down well with Buckingham Palace, if the Earl Spencer can get it wrong as to when Morgan was Editor, what else has he gone wrong, it was a long time, events and distance by time and the highly emotional events might raise different recollections of the event, two people might take away different views about a conversation or feelings that the person should be more upset, the Earl was Diana's brother, thus expects everyone else to be upset,  a reporter deals with tragedy all the time, so the external expressions might come across as less than the Earl expected.  Piers Morgan might not be the as he stated on Question Time the 2nd most loathed man in the Realm after this intervention.

The Ukraine needs some rest and energy to heat homes and flats. This is no concern of Putin, he wants to destroy the Ukraine and its democracy, he wants the old USSR back or even better Imperial Russia, he is an autocratic after all, the recent Parliamentary Elections have given the green light to escalate the War with the Ukraine, by attacking  a NATO country.  Thus the Baltics and Poland should be on ALERT.
