Russia, China and Iran Sanctions

The Times: Reports that Russia and China could support UN sanctions against Iran due to the recent report by the UN's IAEA that Iran might be working on a nuclear warhead for a missile. This is the real test for the Obama Administration in 201o, if President Obama can get tough sanctions on Iran then Israel might actually think that Obama and the UN is serious about taking action against Iran. The test will be in the sanction themselves, they have to hit the Regime in Tehran, they have to cripple the economy of Iran. If the sanctions are mild or water down to get total UN support then Israel will take action, the recent hit job by Israel should be waring to the UN, Israel at the end of the day will protect its right to exist, thus we shall see if Obama's new approach to diplomacy works, either he wins or loses. In this case the grade will not be on the curve, that simple folks, either Obama prevents a nuclear armed Iran or Israel will have to strike Iran.

Justice Department under Bush 43

Fox News: Reports that Bush 43 Era lawyers in the Bush Justice Department have been given the all clear by the Obama Justice Department for their advice after 9/11. It was foolish for President Obama to release the legal memos of the Bush 43 era lawyers, after 9/11 the the game changed, any Administration and that includes the present one would have done the same thing or face Impeachment or losing re-election. The liberal left wing of the Democratic Party will not be happy, but then they are appeasers of the worse kind. Those working for Obama should have one simple thought at the back of their minds, their opinions could come under critical attack if there is another 9/11. In that event the country wont care about the finer points of law, they will want action, if they see weakness by lawyers they will get the boot, and their professional chances later on for advancement could be affected, in other words never start a political war that can come back and bite you on the backside.
