NATO + 7000 = Afghanistan - CNN

CNN News: Reports that NATO has agreed to send seven thousand more troops to Afghanistan. It really depends folks on what these troops can do, some NATO troops cant go out at night, others cant take action in till shot at, others are in secure parts of Afghanistan, as secure as Afghanistan ever gets, it really depends on their operational orders. Will they be allowed to fight the Taliban/ Al Qaeda, it cant be the USA and the UK does all the fighting all the time.

The Death of Richard Todd

BBC News: Reports on the death of the actor Richard Todd. Mr Todd was a fine actor and a World War Two hero. It should be noted that he was in my favourite show Dr Who and he acted along side President Ronald Reagan in the Hasty Heart, not a much shown film but a film that allowed Mr Todd to play not a very sympathetic character. Our thoughts are with the family of Mr Todd.
