POTUS has suggested that Iran wants further talks, Iran has stated it will freeze enrichment of its nuclear stockpile for 5 years. This would be a mistake for the US to accept, does any one trust Iran with a nuclear bomb, Israel would see itself under more of a threat. The Strait of Hormuz is also a problem, it cannot be controlled by Iran, it would be against international law.
