Thus we have the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, what about Iran's nuclear stockpile, in some respects thar is equal important to the US and Israel, and what concessions does the US give Iran give, no more blockade of ships, as to allow free movement of tankers and no US ships close to Iran, we shall what else comes out today.

Sky  News Reports in its 3.44pm post that the White House has denied the story on Iranian TV, that the Memorandum of Understanding agrees to opening the Strait of Hormuz, and the US removing forces and lifting the Blockade.  It is a matter of perspective.

Thus Tehran was playing the Trump Oval, have they overplayed their hand with Trump.   One has to ask if the bombing will restart, or will the Blockade be given more time.  One can presume that oil prices will go up, thus gas prices will go up in the US before the Mid Terms.  POTUS will not be happy, the War going will be the background to his visit to China.  Thus his Presidential Credibility is in threads.

Thus POTUS is hanging tough, he favours the Blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, thus Iran, Trump might be an odd pacifist, he genuinely does not like WAR, short Wars, YES, such as Venezuela, no to long wars, such as Iran.  It will cost politically in the Mid Terms with the price of gas goes up, the Democrats will be on the attack, they hate Trump so much they would rather lose the Iran War, than Trump have a win.  On this Trump has impressed this blog!

One presumes that POTUS knows for a fact that the Tehran delegation will turn up in Pakistan, any humiliation climb down should not have the face of the Trump Oval behind it, that is the job of the VP, he wants the nomination in 2028 and Trump's support.  It will depend how poor deal goes down in Washington DC, will the Republicans in the Congress support the deal, even if the US gives concessions to Iran over its nuclear stockpile and the Strait.  The Trump Oval will sell ANY deal as a victory, it choose this war, did not build support for a War or sell it to the American people.

Update: Sky News reports that Pakistan is still waiting for confirmation from Tehran that they are coming to Pakistan for talks.

Update 2: Sky News reports via the New York Times that the US VP's trip to Pakistan is on hold.  This is Tehran being rude to the US and Pakistan.
