The White House: Has released the following Statement by the US National Security Advisor on Iran, " “Recent Iranian actions, including a provocative ballistic missile launch and an attack against a Saudi naval vessel conducted by Iran-supported Houthi militants, underscore what should have been clear to the international community all along about Iran’s destabilizing behavior across the Middle East.

The recent ballistic missile launch is also in defiance of UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which calls upon Iran “not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles designed to be capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using such ballistic missile technology.” 

These are just the latest of a series of incidents in the past six months in which Houthi forces that Iran has trained and armed have struck Emirati and Saudi vessels, and threatened U.S. and allied vessels transiting the Red Sea.  In these and other similar activities, Iran continues to threaten U.S. friends and allies in the region.

The Obama Administration failed to respond adequately to Tehran’s malign actions—including weapons transfers, support for terrorism, and other violations of international norms.  The Trump Administration condemns such actions by Iran that undermine security, prosperity, and stability throughout and beyond the Middle East and place American lives at risk.

President Trump has severely criticized the various agreements reached between Iran and the Obama Administration, as well as the United Nations – as being weak and ineffective.

Instead of being thankful to the United States for these agreements, Iran is now feeling emboldened. 

As of today, we are officially putting Iran on notice.”

Lets Get Real:

It can be argued that IRAN and NORTH KOREA will be the biggest Foreign policy problems for the Trump Oval, if Russian and US tensions can be removed then it allows President Trump to take firm action against the above rogue nations.   If Russians tensions get worse then the Oval will face a multi crisis term, the Russians are playing up in East Ukraine, one wonders if they will chance their arm in the Baltic States, as it should be noted that the Baltic States are in NATO, this would force the hand of the Trump Oval. One would expect that President Trump will take firm action against Iran if it is found that they are breaking the US/Iran deal devised by President Obama.   The Tehran Regime already has missile technology, all it needs is the bomb, if it gets the information from North Korea or even a built bomb that would make Iran a nuclear power, Israel could never allow that, thus CRISIS.   The days ahead will be very interesting.  Any action against North Korea is prevented due to the fac they have the bomb, also a million man army, no one wants another Korean War.

Lets Get Real:

The uber liberal New York Times is not being subtle, it never is, they see the the Supreme Court seat as stolen from their choice, thus they are pushing for the Democrats to be tough, but not that tough, the Republicans can change the rules of the Senate as to allow for a straight majority to vote for the Supreme Court nominee, not the 60 required at the moment.   It can be argued that the Democrats should wait for the next nominee, that would give the Republicans a absolute majority on the US Supreme Court.   The problem faced by Senate Democrats is the base, they have gone nuts since Trump has become President, they want ALL OUT WAR, that might be nice for the ultra liberals but the 2018 Mid Terms will come up soon, the Party can not be seen to object to every candidate for every post, then they would lose, thus the Democrats have to be smart.  Politics never ends in the US.

Lets Get Real:

The US VOTER is afraid of being attacked, it sees the World in  a mess, and the Obama failure in the Middle East is the main starting point, the worry is that Syrian Refugees will come over and turn out to be lone wolfs or part of Daesh.    The main message from President Trump's first speech as President was that it has to be America First, these means that the US voter comes first not the feelings of the rest of the World.  The Democrats are just pandering to their base, they are still angry that they lost the Presidential Election in November, thus it has gone more left wing, in that they are helping Trump for 2020.   The Trump Administration has to be tough on terrorists, it can not allow a major terror attack to happen on its watch, if that does happen it helps the terrorists in the long term and the Democrats would say that Trump is less effective than Obama, that would harm his hopes for 2020.

The Brexit Vote in the House of Commons - Part 2 - Post EU

Guardian - Live Reporting: Reports in its 5.41pm post the following, " The Conservative Kevin Hollinrake says Labour MPs are demanding a meaningful vote on the Brexit deal. But what they seem to want is a veto. And that would be a mistake, he says, because it would give the EU an incentive to offer a poor deal. "

Lets Get Real:

This is one of the most important votes in British history, it allows the Government to invoke Article 50 to start talks for the removal of the UK from the EU.   Those in the remain camp seem to forgotten that there is more to the UK than what the urban areas think, what has the EU ever done for the rest of the UK, just buildings to fund schemes that help people back to work but do nothing at the end.    The British voter wants the Queen in Parliament to be Sovereign, not the EU over everybody else.   Let's us hope there is  a good majority to invoke Article 50. 

The House of Commons Brexit Vote - Post EU

Daily Mail: Reports " Despite the broad support for the new law, around 100 MPs are expected to defy the result of the referendum and vote against invoking Article 50 when the vote is called after 7pm. "

Lets Get Real:

Thus we shall see who respects the will of the UK voter, the Conservative Party on the whole will support  the invoking of Article 50 as to leave the EU, the Labour Party is split and the LibDems are not listening to the voter, they would rather be run by Europe.   Those MPs that vote against the will of their voters should worry that these voters will recall that in the General Election of 2020.  The UK voter has voted to leave the EU, that should be the end of the matter, we are a DEMOCRACY after all, not run by the elite from abroad.

Democrats Oppose Trump's Supreme Court Nominee - Trump Era

BBC News: Reports " Leading Democrats have come out in staunch opposition to Donald Trump's nomination of Neil Gorsuch for the vacant position on the Supreme Court. "

Lets Get Real:

As expected the Democrats the come out in opposition, one can only assume that they had their talking points ready for whoever President Trump chose, that is the sad state of affairs in Washington, the base has such a firm control over their politicians that they Congress/Senate can not have a individual thought, it is sometimes wonder that the US has elected representatives, they seem to fall in line with the base of their Party, so sad for the US.    Even great Empires decay from within its system.

Trump Nominee for the US Supreme Court - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The choice of Judge Neil M. Gorsuch is a home run for President Trump, the Conservative base will be happy, in fact they will be overjoyed, while the Democrats will go bonkers, it was meant to be THEIR Judge as the new nominee.  The nomination fight will be a blood sport, the Democrats will either try to block or get the Nominee to confirm their own views on different subjects.   The games has just began.  One can only hope that the Judge is fair and supports the right of women to have an abortions and of course gay rights.
