The AXE Man Comes - UK Cabinet Reshuffle

Lets Get Real:

Politics is a brutal business folks, if you do not cut it in your Department or with the press you are out. This is the chance for PM Cameron and DPM Clegg to show that they can be brutal, that they can be bold, if the Conservative Party wants a chance in 2015, the same for the Lib Dems then the Coalition Government needs a new face, one that gets people back to work, and also seems united if not in private. It will be interesting to see who gets the axe, and who goes without making a song and dance of getting the chop, fun time folks, its a UK Cabinet Reshuffle.

A RIGHT Reshuffle ? - UK Coalition Government

Telegraph: Reports on tomorrows UK Cabinet Reshuffle, the article notes the following, " .. number of leading Right-wing Conservatives are being tipped for promotion,.. ".

Lets Get Real:

The Coalition PM David Cameron has to protect his rear, very much like his Deputy Nick Clegg, the right of the Conservative Party has not been happy with the Liberal Democrats pushing their agenda at the cost of the Conservative brand. Thus with the exception of the Lib Dems in the Government the PM has to be an axe man, the Chancellor George Osborne and Foreign Secretary William Hague as safe, but the rest of the Cabinet and lower ranks are open to the axe, its time for Cameron to be an axe man, the Justice Secretary Ken Clarke has had his day in the sun, time for him to go back to the backbenches, voluntary or the sack either will do, the Conservative part of the Coalition needs a right wing image, the Party wants it and the right wing press needs new blood to cover. As for the Lib Dems, Nick Clegg needs to take a risk, bring back David Laws and sack the Business Secretary Vince Cable, the Cable has never taken to Coalition with the Conservative Party, might as well have him in the open firing arrows, than on background, well that is the allegation. It is time for Cameron and Clegg to be bold, the bold might lose but at least they take a chance.

UK Cabinet Reshuffle - Tuesday

BBC News: Reports that Coalition PM David Cameron will hold a UK Cabinet Reshuffle tomorrow.

Lets Get Real:

It seems from the report that the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne, and Foreign Secretary William Hague will stay in their posts, the rest of the Cabinet with the exception of the Liberal Democrats should be worried. The Conservative Party is well behind the Labour Party under the leadership of Ed Miliband, thus the Conservative part of the Coalition needs some new blood, also you have to give the restive backbenches the chance that they will be in Government, thus the middle ranks of the Government need to be culled, new blood and new ideas. On the Liberal Democrat side, the DPM Nick Clegg needs to protect his back, there have been mutterings of discontent, thus he needs to appoint those loyal to him and consider being brutal, take a risk and sack Vince Cable, the Cable has never taken to be in Coalition with the Conservatives, put David Laws in his job, and set the road for 2015.
