Winter Fuel Allowance , reduced or scrapped - Vince Cable
Telegraph: Reports on more damaging comments by Dr. Vince Cable the Business Secretary, the Secretary State has stated that he thinks the Coalition PM David Cameron will try to reduce or scrap the winter fuel allowance for old age pensioners. Someone from 10 Downing Street should be send to handle Dr Cable when he talks to people, saying the above to strangers who happen to be undercover reports shows a naivety beyond measure, it’s the Lib Dems that want to scrap the winter fuel allowance for richer pensioners, the Conservative Party under David Cameron has stated that all pensions will get the winter fuel allowance. Nick Clegg the DPM should have a word with his Liberal Democrat colleague, something along the line of SHUT UP!
The UK Coalition Government - Inside Tensions
BBC News: Reports on comments by the Business Secretary Dr. Vince Cable that if pushed he could bring down the Coalition Government. This will be music to the left wing media, starting with the BBC and down to the Guardian, the political left is looking to bring down the Coalition, these unguarded comments by Dr Cable suggest that Liberal Democrats don’t get the fact yet that they are in a Coalition Government, the comments of a Cabinet Minister have consequences. One can see 10 Downing Street rolling its eyes on these comments, but he is a Liberal Democrat and thus cant be fired, but can be replaced in the future during a Cabinet reshuffle with a new Liberal Democrat.
