The Road Map to the UK leaving the EU - Update 3 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

An interesting article by the Guardian, it goes through the important dates on the UK/EU talks.   It will be interesting to see if the UK and EU can get a deal, it could go either way, the PM can not make any more concessions to the EU, the Conservative Party will not wear it and it will not get passed the House of Commons.  One can expect the left wing press to go to town over the next few weeks, they will support anything coming out of the EU and will be negative on the UK stand.   Hold your hats it's going going to be fun!!

The President vs. the Kavanaugh Accuser - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

In modern American culture we have the snowflake generation, they do not want to hear Conservative arguments, they think ALL men have the ability to be rapists or attackers.   The question I ask, if Kavanaugh was a liberal Nominee would the accuser have come forward and why didn't she come forward when the Judge was nominated for lesser Courts.   An allegation of sexual assault is serious, but there must some kind of evidence to back it up, you can not destroy someone who has had a perfect record throughout his life but then someone comes up with allegation from over thirty years ago.    The President won the election in 2016, the Democrats are fighting the culture wars, they are fighting in the trenches, the right must fight back.

Conservative Party Conference - Update 2 - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

After Brexit the Conservative Party should return to its roots, low taxes, strong government, strong defence, allow the young to rent or buy homes, place pressure on the multi national companies to pay more in tax, instead of sending money to the EU it should divert it to the NHS.    The PM was good when she was attacking Jeremy Corbyn, there needs to be more of that, and not the internal warfare within the Conservative Party.   Lets get BREXIT DONE.  Lets win for Lady Thatcher.

The Final Day of the Conservative Party Conference - PM Speech - Post Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The speech by the PM was good, it was not a high bar after the disaster of last year's conference.   The PM returned to bread and butter issues, Brexit is not the only issue outstanding.   After Brexit the PM promised that there would be an end to austerity, also more money for the NHS and more house building.  As for Brexit the PM is keeping to her guns, she is waiting for the EU to respond.  There is always a risk of a no Brexit deal.   This speech will buy the PM a few days without getting a roasting from her backbench MPs, but no long, the Country needs to know if there will be a deal by the end of October, the PM mentioned World War 1 and 2, and how the UK came together in rough times, is the PM sending a warning that there could be no deal and there will be problems.   It is going to be an interesting month.
