The INF Treaty and President Trump - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The problem is that we do not have the above great statesmen in office any more, we face a very different political climate, the Russians are cheating and China is becoming a bigger threat.   Russia under Putin is trying to get the USSR back, piece by piece, it can be argued that President Reagan himself would have been concerned about Russian cheating and would have scrapped the deal if the Russians did not back off.   The Washington Elite, well the press and TV as so anti Trump they will use anything to attack him, the press and TV have pushed the message that Bush 41 was better than Trump because he was willing talk to the other side, what they mean is that he broke his pledge on no new taxes, that elite and the Democrats just like taxes and Republican Presidents who give in to them.   Gorbachev and Shultz represent great leaders of a bygone Era, this wish blog wishes that President Reagan was still around and in office, that his Chief of Staff was James Baker, his VP was Bush 41 and the Secretary of State was George Shultz, while President Gorbachev was President of a reformed Russia.   It sad but we have to deal with events are they are, not as we wish.

Lets Get Real:

It should be noted as reported in the Sky News feed that if the House of Commons wanted to change the Brexit Deal its views are not binding, its political importance is more important than the legal aspect.   The PM should if she is defeated on December 11th tell the House of Commons that the UK will go for a no deal Brexit.   The PM should force the Hard Remainers to vote with the Labour Party for a General Election, that should keep a few of them loyal, the PM should no longer be Mrs nice Lady, time to place the fear of God in to the MPs, also get the local chair of the MPs seat in to No 10 for drinks, place pressure, get them to remind their MPs that they can be de - selected, sometimes you have to show power.

Lets Get Real:

The Conservative Chief Whip needs to speak truth to power, the Brexit Deal should be pulled, thus avoid another defeat and allow the Government to take back control.   The House of Commons is full of factions, between Hard Remainers and Hard Brexit supporters.  If the PM wants to follow through she needs to get the Hard Brexit supporters back and the DUP, also peel off some Labour MPs.   The PM should go back to the EU and say that she wants a better deal and no backstop, that is thing that is preventing the Conservative Party coming together.   It is time for REAL POLITICS, the PM has to move or be replaced by a new Conservative Leader, a Brexit supporter.
