Nuclear Facilities of Pakistan

Guardian: Reports on the danger to the nuclear facilities of Pakistan, these facilities are close to the fighting, also the Guardian reports that disbursement of Pakistan nuclear weapons could allow them to fall in to terrorists hands. This comes down to two words, Swat Valley, the appeasement of the Taliban/Terrorists in Swat has allowed them to develop a safe heaven, from there they can attack Districts and Provinces in Pakistan. Thus we have seen attacks in Buner, the Lower Dir District and a growing influence in the Punjab. The Government in Islamabad has to understand that the threat to its secular existence is not India but the Taliban/Terrorists. All the appeasement has done is to allow the Taliban/Terrorists to think that if they push hard enough the Government in Islamabad is will fall. As from wire reports it seems that Army of Pakistan has gotten off the dime, but we need independent reports to make sure that the Army of Pakistan is not bluffing its own Government. Also the CIA and MI6 should be running black ops in the Swat Valley, the SAS and Delta Force should be doing wet jobs to remove the leadership of the Taliban. The CIA run killer drones should be taking out the leadership and causing havoc to the supply line between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Brown the new John Major? Will 2010 be 1997?

The Sunday Times: Reports on developing splits in the UK Cabinet, with Hazel Blears the Communities Secretary attacking the communication strategy of UK PM Gordon Brown. This is all about the 201o election, it looks like Labour is heading for an election meltdown as the Conservatives faced in 1997. This last full year from May 1st 2009 to May 201o has the feeling of the last years of the Major years, the Labour backbenchers are in open revolt as was Conservative Backbenchers, the economy is in the toilet, very much like the UK was after she was forced to leave the Exchange Rate Mechanism ERM the PM is not like his predecessor, Gordon Brown is no Tony Blair and Sir John Major is no Margaret Thatcher. Thus this attack from within the Cabinet should be warning to PM Brown. Lets recall Sir John Major resigned as Party leader and stood again as he wanted to clear doubts about his leadership once and for all, it didn't work. Thus after the June Euro Elections Gordon Brown could face an election challenge. Does Brown have the backbone to repel borders, his YouTube news that he had a new plan for MP's expenses did go down well with the House of Commons, that kind of news is stated in the House. The communication strategy didn't go down well with Ms Blears either, she writes in the UK Observer the following, " YouTube if you want to. But it's no substitute for knocking on doors or setting up a stall in the town centre. " This is a direct attack on the PM, does not matter if the Minister says she is loyal, this is a sacking matter, can you see Lady Thatcher putting up with that for a second. Thus if Mr Brown does not not sack Ms Blears its over for PM Brown. A lack of sacking would show that he is weak, thus another John Major.
