Lets Get Real:

The UK PM will talk to the EU Commission President tomorrow, the PM has to be VERY CLEAR with the EU, our fish in our waters remain UK fish, while London will decide how much money it spend to help different sectors of the economy and arbitration will not be done by the ECJ.  If the EU will not move the PM should pull plug, cut bait, in other words END THE TALKS on his terms.  Further talks will go nowhere and the EU is trying to force the UK to accept a lesser deal the benefits the EU.  The UK should go on to Australian rules, they are good enough at the moment, also this would show to the EU that the UK is firm, and will not play about to their game.

Lets Get Real:

IF the talks are stalling what is the point of them going on, it seems that the problem of OUR fish has not been solved, also what rules to have for Government supporting various sectors of the economy.  As this blog has stated, the PM should cut bait ( fishing term ) and walk away, that worked before, well the PM should be firmer, he should tell the EU his demands and if they do not come with answers that the UK wants then the UK should walk away.   This would shock the EU and force them to deal with the French, the French want the same concessions on fish that they have NOW, that is not going to happen.  The PM needs to find his inner Lady Thatcher, be tough and force the EU to meet our requirements if they want our fish in our waters.

The talks have passed various deadlines, it is an old EU tactic, run out the clock and force the other side to meet their demands, not this time, the UK voted to leave the EU in 2016, it is now 2020, time for the UK to leave, show we will not be ordered about in our own waters and our fish.  The fish industry is the symbol for Brexit, time to meet the obligation of democracy, and that is for the UK to leave the EU.

Presidential - Elect Biden speaks to the US , very Presidential - US Politics

President - Elect Biden was VERY Presidential in his remarks, he was talking to the whole of the US, while President Trump was talking to his large base, he might be looking forward to running in 2024, he might enjoy making Biden's time in the White House miserable, after January 20th at 12pm Biden becomes President, thus COVID - 19 will be his problem, also the economy will need to be rebuilt, pushing through tax hikes and climate change might cost him a 2nd term in 2024, elections never END, they just go on, within two years he will face a Mid Term Election, with the Republicans not having lost a House SEAT and the Senate up in the air at the moment, Biden will need all his Senate skills to get his Agenda through. The President recent remarks, show that he has not learned how to be Presidential, Biden had a long career as Senator and Vice - President to see how power really works and how to be Presidential.
