President - Elect Biden was VERY Presidential in his remarks, he was talking to the whole of the US, while President Trump was talking to his large base, he might be looking forward to running in 2024, he might enjoy making Biden's time in the White House miserable, after January 20th at 12pm Biden becomes President, thus COVID - 19 will be his problem, also the economy will need to be rebuilt, pushing through tax hikes and climate change might cost him a 2nd term in 2024, elections never END, they just go on, within two years he will face a Mid Term Election, with the Republicans not having lost a House SEAT and the Senate up in the air at the moment, Biden will need all his Senate skills to get his Agenda through. The President recent remarks, show that he has not learned how to be Presidential, Biden had a long career as Senator and Vice - President to see how power really works and how to be Presidential.

It has been  a good few weeks for Senator Sanders, he had a BIG WIN Nevada, the Democratic Debate in South Carolina did not hurt him much, with the exception of his approval for some of Fidel Castro's domestic policies ( he did manage to say in an interview that he opposed the jailing of reformers in Cuaba ).   The South Carolina Primary is a must win for VP Biden, the polls give him a health lead, if he does win he can roll up the States on Super Tuesday.  On the other hand should Sanders gain further traction with the African - American vote then Biden could be finished.  It could all come down to Super Tuesday, 14 States are voting, it will be end of the road for some of the candidates, like Warren, Mayor Pete and Senator Klobuchar, they will not have the money to carry on.   The battle for the nomination could be down to Senator Sanders, VP Biden and Mayor Bloomberg, he as the money.

In the last few days we have seen Senator Sanders win in Nevada and the Democratic Establishment getting the coffee, that Sanders is a major threat, the last poll from South Carolina shows that Biden is losing his LEAD.  The Democrats with a brain cell have worked out sometime ago that Sanders on top of the Democrat ticket would be a disaster for the rest of the ticket.  There hopes are two fold, that Biden can win SC and change the poll numbers or that Mayor Bloomberg can buy the nomination with his money, Super Tuesday is coming soon and it was reported that Biden has spent ZERO on adverts in the Super Tuesday State.  One only hopes that the Biden Campaign has gotten some bucks in and is spending like it gone out of fashion, otherwise the Campaign will be between Sanders and Bloomberg, one a multi billionaire and other with three houses.

This is when the Bloomberg campaign really gets into the race, according to CNN the former Mayor of New York and spend four hundred million of his 45 billion fortune on the election.  The uber liberal wing of the Democratic Party, the Sanders supporters will never move to support Mayor, they would be exchanging one billionaire for another, and one that has a record of supporting in their view racist policies while Mayor, such as search and frisk and of saying sexual comments around women.  Also the Sanders based is very tied to Sanders, they think the DNC stole the election in 2016 for HRC.  The Mayor needs to get the supporters of Buttigieg and Klobuchar to come around and support him, this would allow the moderates to nominate a moderate for the Democratic nomination.   The debate is tomorrow.

Sanders came a close second in Iowa, he won in New Hampshire and he is leading in Nevada, the moderate or Conservative opposition need to select a candidate and unite this lane.  Otherwise Senator Sanders could win the nomination and still not get over 30% in the different States.  This is the time for VP Biden to shine, raise some much needed money and go on the attack in Nevada, and the Super Tuesday States, otherwise it will be sad end to a political career. If Biden can not cut in SC, then Mayor Bloomberg with his vast wealth can buy the Democratic nomination.  Next Saturday in Nevada is going to be very interesting, it is a caucus State, God help US.

The left wing Guardian is covering for Bloomberg, the article does not mention the fact that Bloomberg was sued for alleged sexist comments in the work place, and it is reported that he told a female worker to have an abortion, the Mayor denied that he ever said that, if it has been Trump the uber liberal media would be ALL over the story.  One has to assume that the Maine Stream Media has worked out that to take out Trump they need a liberal Trump.  Thus the skate over problems that if it has been Trump that is all you would hear about.  The other candidates in the Democratic race are taking the fight to the former Mayor.  The question is can they beat the 45 billion that Bloomberg has in his WALLET.   Thus Nevada and  Super Tuesday will be VERY IMPORTANT.

Biden has had two bad showings, the question is will the African - American vote stand with him in S C, in the latest poll he support has dropped by half, the voters will see that he is wounded and wonder can he get the white vote even if black Americans stand by him.  In one regard he is lucky, Mayor Pete gets around ZERO support from African American voters, Senator Klobuchar is gets minus zero.   The next stage is Nevada, it is a caucus State, one only hopes that the Nevada Democratic Party has its voting structure in place and it works, no one wants another Iowa, well the exception of POTUS.  The question is can Sanders pull off a victory, can Mayor Pete start to get the ethnic vote and is Nevada the last hope for Senator Warren.

The Biden campaign lowered expectations for the early States. in this they were right, the point of a campaign is to beat expectations, in that the Biden campaign is failing badly, if Biden comes in 4th in New Hampshire there will be questions if Biden is up to taking on Trump in November.   The firewall for Biden is SC, the majority back vote is supporting him,he was Obama's loyal VP for eight years, the question is how deep is the black vote for Biden, will they see him as needing their support or will they go to someone else, NH and Nevada could make or break Biden.

SO will it be the Donald after Super Tuesday or an Rubio and Cruz unite to defeat the the Trump.  It would be an interesting idea, what about a joint ticket, Rubio and Cruz, or the other way around, of course the hour is to late, the moderates and the Establishment should have thought of that a long time ago, so in political reality we could see Donald Trump as the Republican nominee, one does wonder if he will change his manner, his speech and policies, that might be asking to much, that is why this blog with regret is supporting HRC all the way to the Oval, the Clintons have their flaws, and BILL has major flaws, we all know what they are, but he does have a fine brain and would be a great help to HRC when it comes to foreign policy.    Who would have thought his blog would end up supporting HRC.

IF this blog betted on political results it would be risky to vote against the Donald for the Republican nomination, Senator Rubio needs to win States, he has to win his home State of Florida, while Cruz has to take Texas.   One can see a way to the Republican nomination for Trump, but with each loss it gets harder for Rubio.    Let's postulate that Trump wins the nomination, then the Democrats have to get their election over fast and ALLOW HRC to become the Democratic nominee, as the Donald is funding himself, the Democrats have to hit their supporters hard for money, and lot of money, lets see if the Clintons can match the Donald.  The Democratic Primary in South Carolina is expected to go to Clinton, the Democratic Establishment has to place pressure on Sanders to get out, the longer he stays the more flak Clinton will face from Trump and Sanders.

A very moving advert by the Clinton Camp, your heat would have to be made of stone not to feel that HRC is doing a good job.   The cynic side of this blog can smell a set up from a mile, the Clinton Camp would have know the story and thus make sure HRC heard, that is the problem with the HRC, you can see the political mind moving, that is why HRC will never be Bill, and even Bill is no longer Bill.

On this the blog hates to agree with the Donald, this Pope is political and would understand how his words would come across, this is not the first time the Pope has gone political, he told Catholics they should have more children than pets, HAS THE POPE ever had a pet! then he called the Falklands Island by their Argentina name and then finally he helped with a better relationship with Castor's Cuba and the US, who asked him?  This Pope might be very humble, but that does not stop him from being political and naive.

This ad by the Sanders campaign is very moving and is feeding in to unrest within the African - American community, the question is it effective, even this Conservative blog was moved by it, and on the whole this blog checks its emotions at the door before blogging.  As to the politics, it can be postulated that African - Americans will vote in large numbers for Secretary Clinton, she had tied herself to the Oval, and the Oval has made clear that it supporters her, thus the South is lost to Sanders.   After Sanders is defeated we can have real campaign between HRC and the Republican, please not the Donald.

HRC has tied herself to the Obama Oval, the HRC campaign must hope that the Oval Office does not do anything that has negative ramifications for the Campaign over the next few months,  Sanders made a point, he was a US Senator, that he agreed with the Obama Oval on most things, but he had the duty and right to be critical when he thought President Obama was wrong.    The fact that HRC used that against him, was interesting, she played dirty pool and it worked, the HRC is campaign is looking forward to South Carolina were a majority of Democrat voters are African - American and to Nevada were there is a healthy group of Hispanic voters, thus HRC was linking to their support of President Obama, thus her defence of him.   The Clinton firewall is and up running, it can be postulated that HRC will win big in the South. 

Ohio - Poll of Polls - RCP

RCP: Reports on its average of the Ohio polls before Super Tuesday, as of now, the candidates have the following support, Santorum 34%, Romney 31.3%, Gingrich 15.7% and Paul 12%. Santorum leads Romney by 2.7%. It has been noted that Romney after winning Arizona and Michigan has surged in the Ohio polls, thus a 2.7% lead by Santorum is nothing if Romney has a good ground game in Ohio, if Romney can take Ohio another rust belt State like Michigan this will make Romney the presumptive Republican Nominee, the difference this time between Ohio and Michigan is while Romney was born in Michigan and his father was a State Governor there, that is not the case with Ohio. Thus if Romney takes Ohio it will show that his economic argument is working, that he as a former business man can bring jobs back to these old Industrial States. If on the other hand Santorum wins, this means a long race and a great chance of a Obama victory in November.

This blog called the Michigan result early folks, well before CNN and Fox, when Romney was about twenty thousand votes ahead in Michigan and those votes came from the most populated areas of Michigan it could postulated that it was going to be a Romney night. Thus comes Super Tuesday, with 10 States in the frame, lets hope Romney can finish this game, the longer it goes on the more political arrows that the Republicans give to the Democrats. The Republicans should have one aim, to defeat President Obama.

Thus folks its down to Romney and Santorum, Senator Santorum really wants to win folks, he has placed automatic calls to Democrats asking them to vote for him as he states that Governor Romney in effect would have allowed the car companies to go out of business. If enough Democrats vote today they could put Santorum over the top and give him the BIG MO in to Super Tuesday. The Romney Camp has to win Michigan, it’s the home State for Romney, his father was once Governor of the State. If Romney cant win Michigan the rational for his Campaign might go out of the window. Michigan Polls - RCP

RCP: Reports on its Average of the Michigan Polls before the Primary vote next week, today Governor Romney leads Senator Santorum by 36.8% to 34.8% a 2%. lead. If Romney can keep his home State and take Arizona then he will have a good lead in to Super Tuesday, it seems the last Republican Debate really helped Romney with Republican voters. There should be caution folks, all these polls have a margin of error of between 3% to 4%, thus a tied race in many respects. If Santorum can take Michigan and give Romney a run for his money in Arizona then he will have a good lead in to Super Tuesday, that is why this race is so interesting folks, from day to day, to debate to debate you never really know who is going to win.

Gallup: Reports on its latest poll of the Republican Race, today Senator Santorum leads Governor Romney by 36% to 26%, a 10% lead. This is time for Romney to finish off Santorum, if the Senator can take Michigan the home State of Governor Romney and do well on Super Tuesday the race will be different, Senator Santorum will be the presumptive Republican Nominee and Governor Romney will be the major underdog. This is might be the major shock that Romney needs to show if he has any backbone, does really want the nomination, then he is in a political knife fight for his political future, he really has to find a way to take Santorum down in Michigan and on Super Tuesday, otherwise it can be argued that Santorum could start to look like a Winner, this would be hard PR for Romney, as the poll from Texas shows, Santorum could be the candidate to beat, who saw that coming!
