Cuba is 90 miles from Florida and has been a thorn in the US for decades.  The Communist Regime has supported left wing Regimes in Southern and Central.   The fall of the USSR in 1991, cut off the main supporter of Cuba, Venezuela under the know imprisoned President gave them oil, that has stopped under US pressure.  Taking Cuba would be a major success for Trump, as long as it can be done peacefully or limited military action  JFK would be smiling from Presidential heaven.

This is a big win for Trump, the various Federal Cases will be affected, we wait to see what the Courts and Prosecutors so with the case, the general opinion is that the Court cases will start after the election, of course Trump as President could pull them if elected.   This Judgement by the Supreme Court does ask a few Questions of Presidential history, lets look at the examples, was JFK and the CIA'S attempt to kill Castro in the early 1960s was that official or Kennedy's need for revenge after the Bay of Pigs.  Then we move to 1968, was Nixon's sabotage of the Paris Peace Talks, semi official as he become President or private action that should have seen him Court.   Let's forget that LBJ bugged Nixon with the help of the FBI,  was the legal, its an open question, then we go to Nixon again in 1972 with Watergate, it can be presume that Nixon after the LBJ files on the Paris Peace Talks.  Thus would Nixon have had to resign in 1974.  The next case in Iran - Contra of the late1980s, it was Reagan's believe that the Contra freedom fighters had to be supported, after the Congress cut off official aid, he wanted the Contra fighters funded, no matter what it took, thus a diversion of funds to the Contra's.   As with JFK, there is doubt if Reagan knew this was happening, even if he did, it would not matter as it was official policy by Reagan to fight communism. In 1998 we have Bill Clinton, this was a private affair and thus the President would not have been immune from the Courts.   It seems the Court would have agreed with Nixon.   Interesting Court days ahead!!

This could be the biggest attack on Russians forces since the War started, as noted in the article, also those bloggers who support the WAR in Russia are more critical than those thrown in to jail.  The problem is that the pro invasion bloggers want a tough stand by the Kremlin, even if that means a dirty bomb or a tactical nuclear bomb.  Thus it can be postulated that the Russians will want to hit back HARD, just to make the point, that they can hit back even harder than the Ukraine can attack.  As noted by this blogger and other commentary, the Putin Regime to survive might need to escalate the WAR, either by going to attack a NATO Country or the border that allows the NATO forces to move military kit to the Kyiv Government.   The real worry is that should Putin FALL or fall through a window ( I wonder how that thought came about ) then his successor might be even more of a  SOB, and will go further.  The problem with WARS, are the unknown of the unknowns,  EVENTS that come from nowhere, and have not been planned for, both NATO and one assumes the Kremlin does not want WW3, the problem might be to stop it before it gets there, as JFK said during the Cuban missile, there is always some SOB who never gets the WORD.  It only needs a major incident, a nuclear plant in the Ukraine being hit and releasing radiation, or a actual Russian missile hitting a NATO Country on purpose or accident, or a new offensive by Russian that gets close to taking Kyiv,  this would force the WEST to act, Russian cannot be allowed to win or appear to win.

The Russians have been told that if Russia uses a dirty bomb or tactical nuke that the WEST will respond.  The President of the United States has to tell the Russians, that any use of the BOMB in the Ukraine will be seen as a nuclear attack on the West.  The same as President Kennedy said over Cuba in 1962, the Biden Oval has to show that it is FIRM, that it is not playing about, that President Biden will press the button, the reaction from the West to the use of a nuke in the Ukraine has to equal the destruction caused, the Black Sea Fleet could be sunk, the Russians could be pushed out of the Ukraine and the CRIMEA.  The Kremlin is not mad ONE HOPES, that Putin understands that if he goes down this road, then ALL BETS ARE OFF, it could mean the end of the RUSSIA and the destruction of the World through World War 3.  The Western Leaders have to be direct, firm, but not sound as if they want start a WAR, but will finish one if its starts, the last man standing wins, even if its down to throwing rocks.

The above annual exercise could be a Russian WARNING, we are serious when it comes to the threat of using nukes to defend areas of Ukraine taken by the Russians since the February invasion, also the Russians could be planning to use a dirty nuke bomb in the Ukraine, if for example Kherson was to fall to advancing Ukraine Forces.  Putin is in a corner, the West is not going to do another Munich 1938, we are not going to appease Putin and sell out the Ukraine.  The Kremlin must be hoping that the Republicans take control of the US Congress in the November Mid Terms, and thus delay funding from the US to the Ukraine.  Also doing another 1962 when JFK sold out Turkey in secret is not on the cards, everything like that leaks these days.  The Russians are up to something, just what is the question, dirty bomb, sending more troops to Kherson, or attacking a NATO Country to see the Western reaction.

The Russian Bear is in a tight spot, the Kyiv Government had a succese, although they deny it was them, who bought down Putin's bridge in the Crimea.  Putin has to show his hawks; they does not seem to be any doves in the Kremlin; that he is tough enough when it comes to the Ukraine.  The hawks, well those on Russian TV, want to go nuclear, so Putin has done the above, awave of cruise missile strikes on the Ukraine.  This will enforce the view in the Ukraine, they have to win, a losing WAR could lead to the end of the Ukraine, if Putin falls, then Russian just gets a new leader, who could be worse that Putin.  The Biden Oval is afraid of another Cuban missile crisis when it comes to the Ukraine, the US President has allowed Putin to get under his skin, thus will he try to pause the actions of the Ukraine, stop them pushing the Russians back, Biden is no JFK, and the Kyiv Governemnt would be on the news channels 24/7 if Biden tried to sell them out.  Thus what is the OUT, that is the big question, and no one has come with a good answer yet, that keeps the Ukraine united and gets the Russians the hell out of the Ukraine, and that includes the Crimea.

The nuclear dots start to add up, the Russian Nuclear Train is on the way to the Ukraine border it has been alleged, the Kremlin keeps going on with its threats to use tactical nuclear weapons, there is a new Commander in charge, and now the poor people stuck in the annexed part of the Ukraine will be removed.  This should get the NSA and CIA on the US side, and MI6 and GCHQ to be working night and say to keep up with the latest Russian moves.  The Biden Oval is right to be concerned, this could be Cuba, 1962 again, but this time there is no off ramp. the Biden Oval cannot sell out the Ukraine, as JFK did with Turkey in 62, and another Munich 1938 is OUT.  Thus President Biden will have to find his inner Reagan and stand with the Ukraine, whatever the Russians do, and the Russians could be playing hardball with the West.  The next few days and weeks could be very tense.

One can almost feel sorry for the General, what a time to get a new job, the US President has stated in a off the cuff manner that the West is back to 1962 and the Cuban Missile Crisis with the War in the Ukraine, and the bridge that connects Russia to the Crimea has been blow up either by Ukraine Special Forces or by a missile.  One can postulate that the Putin might be ready to drop the TACTICAL Nuclear Missile on the Ukraine, and to be effective it would take more than just one.  The Russian Nuclear train is moving to the direction of the Ukraine, to the border, while the hawks in Russia want the Kremlin to go full nuclear on the Ukraine.   The Russian troops who are running away from their military positions must think that Putin could be ready to drop the BOMB on them without warning, and even if they were warned it does not look they have the hazmats suits to wear.  The question that everyone asks, how does this end, does Putin want a out of this WAR, or will he go full nuclear, let's recall he has sent his daughter to Siberia, she is in a nuclear bunker.  Also there are rumours that Putin is very ill, he might not care if the World goes nuclear, interesting notion.  One hopes the WINTER comes soon, as to freeze the Ukraine and Russian Forces in position, and saner minds take control in Moscow.

In 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis, a Russian Sub that had lost contact with Moscow rose to the surface rather than follow orders in such an event, they got contact back, if they had followed orders it could have lead to World War 3.  In 1983 a radar operator had his screen showing that the US had launched a nuclear attack, this was during the 1983 November scare when the Kremlin thought that the US was about attack by having a fake NATO exercise then to have a real attack.  The standing order was for the operator to contact the Kremlin, that could have lead to World War 3, in actually he rebooted the system and it showed that there was no attack, the above examples shows that it takes brave men to counter their military training and to check something out before going to WAR.  World War 3 would be the LAST WAR.  One does hope that if Putin takes 15% of Ukraine as part of Russia that there are men in the military who will say NO to the Kremlin should it want to use tactical nuclear weapons in the Ukraine.  One can postulate that the Kremlin will say that since these 4 areas have voted to become part of Russia, they are part of Russia prober, thus the Russian nuclear doctrine allows for the use of nuclear weapons.  Tense days ahead in the Ukraine and the West.

The Crimea was take over by the Russians in 2014, the Obama Administration did nothing, thus this was seen by Moscow as a GREEN light for their invasion of Ukraine.  The Kremlin failed to understand that the West would back the Kiev Forces with the equipment it needs to fight back against the Russians. This could be the LAST TIME that POTUS can stall Putin from invading the Ukraine, if reports are true the invasion could come on Tuesday or Wednesday.  President Biden has to find his inner Ronald Reagan or JFK if he wishes and makes Russia understand, that the Russian people will suffer economic sanctions that have never been placed before with the exception of North Korea and Iran.  That the Putin Regime is opening Pandora's Box if it invades the Ukraine.  The West will support any insurgency and the Ukraine would be the new Afghanistan for the Putin Regime.  POTUS cannot agreed to another Munich agreement, as Chamberlain did in 1938 or JFK selling out the Turks in 1962 to end the Cuban Missile Crisis.   That deal was secret, that would not happen NOW and if Biden tried it, his Presidency would be finished faster than the Nixon days after Watergate. This could be the most import call of Biden's political life.

The presser if your in the Ukraine will leave you in a state of sock, the Western line had been that any attack on the Ukraine would mean drastic and severe sanctions by the West on Russia, more than it had been in 2014.  The idea of a minor invasion would lead to a different reaction and arguments between the Allies will be seen by Kremlin as stated a a green light to invade and that as long a they keep the noise down in the neighbourhood then the US and its NATO allies will do something minor in reaction.  The FACT that the White House had to CLEAR and CLEAN this up shows how badly Biden had done at the presser, thus if PUTIN does attack the Biden White House will be forced to act or face calls of being appeasers, no one comes back from that.  As stated in previous post, the Biden Oval does not want to be compared to  Neville Chamberlain the appeasing PM of the 1930s or JFK for selling out Turkey in 1962 to end the Cuban Missile Crisis.  If your a Democrat strategist you are thinking, who on the Democratic Bench would be a good candidate for the 2024 Democratic nomination.  Politics is a brutal business.

One hopes the Biden Oval has not lost its bottle, and grants the concessions that Russia want, why else would Russia come along, in less they want to show to their own people that they have tried every diplomatic avenue.  If your in Kiev you are worried that the Biden Oval will do a MUNICH 1938 and sell you out, one hopes that White House has been in close contact with the Kiev Government and will support it if the talks fail on Friday.  On the Diplomatic front if that is what the Russian want their is the chance of new INF Treaty and Treaty Agreements on when both sides will have WAR GAMES,  that is all the NATO West can offer, the Kremlin has demanded more, that the Ukraine never becomes part of NATO and that East European States in NATO have NATO troops removed from their soil, also equipment.  The Baltic States and Poland will be worried that Biden will do a JFK in 1962 and sell them out, as JFK did to Turkey to end the Cuban Missile Crisis.  The secret nature of that deal is the reason why Putin wants a TREATY, he saw Khrushchev was removed from power because of the public impression that he had FAILED over Cuba and Turkey.   Thus all eyes will be on Geneva on Friday.

If the Russians places nuclear missiles in Cuba they will be breaking the 1962 agreement between Presidents Kennedy and Chairman Khrushchev that ended the Cuban Missile Crisis, any placement of nuclear missiles in Cuba could lead to a new Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Biden Oval cannot sell out the Turks this time as JFK did in 1962 under a secret agreement between the US and Russia.   The question is how far IS Putin willing to go and how far will Biden go to STOP HIM.  It can be postulated that IF Putin takes the East Ukraine but leaves the rest that might be enough to prevent a greater WAR, but if he goes for the WHOLE of the Ukraine, then ALL BETS ARE OFF, the US will supply military resources to the Kiev Government, very much like the US did in the 1980s to the fighters in Afghanistan.  This is hard lesson for history, if you have nuclear weapons don't give them as the Ukraine did in the 1990s.  Also it should be noted that Colonel Gaddafi after 9/11 gave up his nuclear materials to the US and looked what happened to him, overthrown by NATO.  Also this is why North Korea will never give up its nuclear missiles, the Regime is safe, the US or others will never attack a nuclear armed State, that is why Iran wants to become a nuclear armed power.  Thus a very frost few weeks ahead. 

US REACTION to Russia Demands - Biden Era

This shows that Biden does not want to do a Turkey sell out as JFK did in the Cuban Missile Crisis and it remind secret for decades, also he does not want to be another Neville Chamberlain, Ukraine will not be the Czechs who were sold out by the British in 1938.  The Russians or least Putin must understand that his demands cannot be met, that the history cannot be reversed back to 1997, before the Eastern European Members of NATO joined.  Thus it has to be postulated that Putin is looking for the TALKS to fail, and then to invade the Ukraine, well at least East Ukraine and absorb that in to the Russian Federation.  The question is what will the Biden Ova do, it has threatened heavy sanctions against Russia if it invades, and the sanctions would start at the top.  Also to send military equipment to the Ukraine as to allow it to defend itself, this final THREAT might make Putin think again, he doe not want to see hundred of dead Russians coming back; it has been reported that Russians have dug ditches for their dead should the Russians invade; that is something that he could not HIDE as he does now.  Of course there is always the chance that Putin has gone barmy and does not care about the reaction of the West, if that is the case, it will be a very COLD winter ahead.
