Lets Get Real:

One does hope that that this is a honest review of today and not just diplomatic niceties by the French, the Allies, if you can call them that, have to be united against Russia.  POTUS has  been critical of President Zelensky today, nothing new.  The Ukraine has agreed to a ceasefire, Russia is dragging its feet and placed conditions.  PUTIN has a hold on Trump, that is beyond reason.

Lets Get Real:

What if POTUS and Putin  come up with another Munich 1938, will the Ukraine, UK and France go along with it, or will turn in to a bitter row between the suppose NATO allies, Sir Keir cannot back down, the same with President Marcon in Paris.  Thus historical day tomorrow.

This is a big win for Trump, the various Federal Cases will be affected, we wait to see what the Courts and Prosecutors so with the case, the general opinion is that the Court cases will start after the election, of course Trump as President could pull them if elected.   This Judgement by the Supreme Court does ask a few Questions of Presidential history, lets look at the examples, was JFK and the CIA'S attempt to kill Castro in the early 1960s was that official or Kennedy's need for revenge after the Bay of Pigs.  Then we move to 1968, was Nixon's sabotage of the Paris Peace Talks, semi official as he become President or private action that should have seen him Court.   Let's forget that LBJ bugged Nixon with the help of the FBI,  was the legal, its an open question, then we go to Nixon again in 1972 with Watergate, it can be presume that Nixon after the LBJ files on the Paris Peace Talks.  Thus would Nixon have had to resign in 1974.  The next case in Iran - Contra of the late1980s, it was Reagan's believe that the Contra freedom fighters had to be supported, after the Congress cut off official aid, he wanted the Contra fighters funded, no matter what it took, thus a diversion of funds to the Contra's.   As with JFK, there is doubt if Reagan knew this was happening, even if he did, it would not matter as it was official policy by Reagan to fight communism. In 1998 we have Bill Clinton, this was a private affair and thus the President would not have been immune from the Courts.   It seems the Court would have agreed with Nixon.   Interesting Court days ahead!!

The Hunter Biden as with the Donald Trump case would have not be bought if they had different surname, the verdict in both cases should have been NOT GUILTY, in this case the Jury is from Delaware, Biden's home state and Hunter is a local boy, so while New York went wrong away, this blog expects the Jury to bring back a NOT GUILTY verdict, anything else would be political, the gun was never used, and on one for sure knows if Hunter Biden was on drugs, his father has said he wont use his Presidential power to Pardon his son, the father of six children.  In the old days, men in smoke filled rooms would have solved their problems like gentleman, present problems are due to people wanting a pure democracy, it cant work like that.   When in 1968 President Johnson discovered that candidate Nixon was playing games with the Paris Peace talks, he kept that quiet, it would have caused a political crisis, he kept it over Nixon, thus the Watergate break - in of 1972, Nixon wanted to know how much LBJ had told the Democratic Party.   Today is what you get when you have the ideologues in charge.

Lets hope the House of Commons shows some backbone and supports the PM, the last time they did not, and thousands of extra people died in Syria.   The Labour Party is in a mess, the leader at the start of the debate will give a speech against bombing, while the Foreign Secretary at the end will come out for bombing.   The Official Opposition is a joke, one would almost give the job to the SNP.   It is time for grown up politics, support the PM and our air crews.

The Labour Party has elected a far left wing fool to lead them, there are only so many BAD leaders you can take from a political party, the Corby Agenda on the domestic front is no austerity, well we are in the mess we are due to Labour over spending, on national security he will not press the button if the red balloon goes up.   Thus time for the Labour Party to grow up and go back to the centre right polices of Tony Blair.   The Labour Party will only win again when it learns to love Tony Blair, there mus successful leader.  GROW UP LABOUR AND DUMP CORBYN.

The PM should push the message in TV interviews and in the press, get the right wing press to come out in favour, make it a case of either you appease the terrorists or you fight them. Use Churchill as a allegory, he fought Nazi Germany while on the backbenches while others supported Chamberlain and his policy to appease Hitler, putting your head in the sand in no policy, it only makes you look weak.   Thus time for the UK to join its allies, the US and France in bombing Daesh in Syria.

The Conservative Government should be bombing Syria right now, the House of Commons can wait, they have been slow and have shown a Iraqi War complex, last time they allowed Assad to get away with the use of WMD on his own people, this time the threat is Daesh. One can only hope THIS TIME that the Commons saws some backbone and supports the government.  It can be expected that Labour MPs will go against their leader as Jeremy Corbyn has been a disaster when it comes to foreign policy, the UK voter would be under severe threat if Corbyn ever came close to power.    THUS MPs STAND AND SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT.

Lets Get Real:

The problem the Police and other security forces face is that you can not keep people on a constant state of alert, so far nothing has happened in Brussels, thus the threat level might be taken down, that is when the problem starts, do you jump every time new information comes along, or do you wait, if you wait and something happens the people, voter will not be happy, on the other hand if you have a constant alert the people will just see it as part of normal life, thus it becomes normal.   Lets hope the Police authorities in Brussels are on their tones, but know when to rise the alarm and when to let it down again, tough choice. 

David Cameron and Syria Part 2 - Syrian Crisis

IF the PM is going to strike Syria he should start this week, then have the House of Commons vote, there is no way the House of Commons would say NO if aircrew are in the air and are attacking Daesh.   The PM should use the Royal powers he already has and go to war.   Daesh could use the time between the Cameron's outline for the role of the UK in a Syrian Strike as a chance to hit UK as with Paris or cause problems as is the case in Belgium. The West has to destroy Daesh, it can not be contained, time for West to find its Churchillian/Thatcher backbone.   Time for War.

AFTER Tunisia, Lebanon, Paris, the bombing of the Russian plane the House of Commons has to grow a backbone, the UK has to be at the table for its own benefit if nothing else, if you're not in the fight you do not get an invite to the peace process afterwards.   The Daesh terrorist group has shown that it shows no mercy, will kill anybody when it gets the chance, it can bring Paris and Brussels to a standstill, bring out troops to safe guard pubs and cafes, make life terrible, make people on the edge.  Thus time for THE House of Commons to ACT.

All the innocent human deaths in Paris, and now the terrorists kill a Police Dog, one does not understand the mind set of those that kill other people for no reason, and now they have killed a dog.   The French Police have shown great courage both human and dog, let us hope there are no more losses.  RIP Diesel.

This is good news, the French Police have acted in a quick manner and with courage.  Daesh cells around Europe should be taken down, European Governments can not wait for another attack, they must ACT now in the defence of public order.  Daesh seeing its Syrian held land falling away will try more attacks to divert attention, they must not be allowed to have success.  Time for tough action.

The Labour Party and the Paris Terrorist Attacks

BBC News - Politics: Reports the following in its 6.03pm post, " In the light of events in Paris this week, Labour MP Caroline Flint says the party "has to act with certainty and one voice" when it comes to defence policy.    "It didn't help this week when it seemed when faced with the prospect of a terrorist attack on the streets of London and how the police might respond, we seemed to have one point of view put forward by Jeremy [Corbyn], and another one contradicted by Hilary Benn."

Lets Get Real:

The Labour Party on defence and many others is falling apart, it has different voices coming out, the Labour Party needs to remove Jeremy Corby and fast, it can not wait as it did with Gordon Brown, Ed Miliband, if it does wait it will lose the 2020 election before even a vote is cast.   The Labour Party should recall the disaster of 1983, yes it could be that BAD, time for Labour to grow up or shut up shop.  Any Party that elects Jeremy Corbyn is MAD anyway.

Lets Get Real:

It could be another terror attack or someone has just left a suitcase, in these days it better to be cautious, terrorists should never be allowed to win, but the authorities main job is to protect the people, you can have football match another day.    This is one of the reasons that Daesh has to be destroyed, they cause this kind of panic, the Police have to take any report as a real threat, thus better for the Police to act than be wrong.

The UK Prime Minister does not need the approval of the House of Commons to go to War in Syria, the PM should use the Royal Prerogative and use the RAF to hit Daesh in Syria.   The same Conservatives MPs who oppose Syrian action would have supported the appeasement policy in the 1930s, some men once they get the MP after their name think they are Winston Churchill, hardly, the PM should order the attacks and make any vote a confidence vote in the government, lets see how brave these MPs are when its comes to saving their Seats, also Central Office should have a word with the local Chairman's of the seats of these MPs, place pressure on them to get in line.  Politics is a hard business, you have to be tough with some MPs. 

Corbyn vs. The Security of the UK

Another disaster for Jeremy Corbyn, he does not want the police to take out terrorists on the streets of the UK.   If Labour does not get rid of Corbyn the will never win another election in the UK.   The UK voter no matter in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England want security when they go out, a Jeremy Corbyn Government would be a pleasure for the terrorists, the Labour leader has no sense of the security threat to the UK or to Europe.   It is time that Labour grew up, otherwise it will never form a government in the UK.

It can be argued that France should call a NATO meeting and invoke the article that means that there has been an ACT of War on France and that the allies should come to the help of an ally.  This would mean ground troops for Syria, of course the liberal left in Europe and the US will go bonkers. and the White House would hit the roof,  but it might be the pressure needed to get Obama to see the real world. One has to postulate that the security services of the UK, USA and others will be on high alert in case there are further attacks on Western Countries.   This is the time to ACT, otherwise there will be more murders committed by IS/Daesh.

The terrorist attack in Paris shows how much a threat to Europe that Daesh is, it has thus far hit Russia with the downing of the Russian plane in Egypt, hit Lebanon and now Paris, one can only assume that the UK and the US are also targets, lets hope MI5 and the FBI are on the case, at least its harder to get guns in the UK, well one hopes.  Our thoughts should be with the families of the 129 killed and concern for those that were injured.    The terrorist has to be lucky once, the Police and government authorities have to lucky all the time.    This is going to be a long WAR on TERROR. 

The Next WH Chief of Staff - Please - New War on terror

Lets Get Real:

In other words the veto came from the Oval Office and Mr McDonough has fallen on his sword to protect President Obama, someone should have said to the outgoing Chief of Staff that POTUS would not have done the same for him, that goes for any President.   In the fact the Obama White House is doing something normal for once, its is shielding the President, that is the job of the White House Staff, they can be sacked and thrown in jail as long as the President is protected.    Of course the Paris snub means that McDonough has used up his nine political lives and must go, the Obama Oval needs someone that IS NOT afraid to to tell truth to power, time for regime change at the office of the White House Chief of Staff.
