This will change the Middle East if Saudi Arabia goes nuclear and must recognise Israel, it will be a major foreign policy achievement for the Trump Oval, SA is  close ally of the US, this is the reason that Iran has told the Houthis of Yemen to attack SA tankers in the Red Sea, after the War with the US restarted.  Thus US will have to protect SA Tankers, while fighting Iran.  The Democrats have passed another resolution to curtail the WAR POWERS of Trump, he has to win the war before the Mid Terms.

THIS opens the War on the Western front, puts the Suez Canal in play, Iran can block the Strait of Hormuz, and the Houthis can attack in the Med, leading to the Suez Canal.  That would cause a recession/depression to the Western economy, governments would feel the wrath of voters, due to food and petrol inflation.  Trump could have opened a evil Pandora box, did he have a choice is the question.

The Biden Administration has stated there would be further strikes on terrorists after the Iran backed terrorists killed three Americans two weeks ago in Jordan.  The Tehran Regime did not react after the American strikes, will they react NOW, Tehran has been cagey in allowing others to die for their agenda.  Let's hope that the Biden Oval did not warn Iran about this strike, they warned with other strikes. In the Middle East its an eye for an eye, it has been like that for a thousand years, the Israeli Government has just rejected the Hamas Counter offer for a  truce.  The US Secretary of State was hopeful for talks, the US State Department and the FCO in the UK have always been pro Arab, the Secretary of State in the Truman Administration did not want to recognise Israel as a STATE, the US President Harry S Truman over ruled  him.   The Biden Oval cannot trust the State Department and the same for the UK.  The US and the UK cannot force Israel to accept a Palestinian State that would be a THEAT TO ISRAEL.  The State of Israel must be allowed to kill off Hamas in Gaza, then we can have talks.

Thus Iran will have moved its officers and terrorist pawns from Iraq and Syria, they will wait for the attack, see the damage and return to their old ways, has POTUS learned nothing, what happens when Iran gets the nuke and POTUS has to either make a deal with Iran or hit them hard.   This issue could become a campaign issue in the Presidential Election, that is the last thing Biden needs, the polls vary, yesterday Biden had a 6 point lead over Trump, in a CNN poll released tonight Trump has a 4 point lead over Biden.  Polls so early are only snapshots, its early, the Biden re-elect campaign has to get its act together, they have to have a positive message, it can't just be abortion and Donald Trump.  The security of the US and the West is at stake.

The US and the UK should consider sending in Special Forces to take out the Houthi, they are a threat to the Western economy, let's recall that there are elections in the US and UK.   The West does not need high inflation at the moment, also the Houthi are terrorists, they need to be destroyed, they are using the Israeli - Gaza War to show they are a power in the region, they are supported by Iran, another terrorist state.  One of these days the Houthi will hit a Royal Navy Ship or one of the US ships in the region, that could force the West to react, the West has to be on the front foot, not reacting all the time.

Thus a 2nd major strike on Yemen by the US and the UK, the Houthi in Yemen are not getting the message, their action are a threat to the Western economy, they are getting their orders from Iran, Tehran will use the WAR in Gaza as a reason for the attacks, that is just BS, they want to cause trouble for Biden in this election year.  The West, in this case the US and UK must think about placing troops in Yemen, to guard the shoreline from terrorist attacks.   The whole region is a tinder box, the Allies have to be show they have the power in the long term.

The Houthi official must not be part of the higher leadership, the Houthi attacked a US Vessel today with a bomb from the air.   The newswires reported on a explosion in Yemen, thus far the US or the UK have claimed the attack.  Let's recall the Houthi are terrorists, they have enemies.  The heat is going up in the Middle East, the WAR between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, the threat from the North of the Country from Hezbollah in Lebanon, and now the Houthi in Yemen.   All roads lead back to Iran, Biden must do something about Iran, they are pushing their luck to far, Biden is seen as Weak, also he has the Ukraine on his plate, Putin will try something is this World of Turmoil, he would be stupid not to, does anyone think that Biden can handle multi crisis points, one doubts even the White House Staff trust him that much.

This is tough talk from Biden, a man that has never been right when it comes to foreign policy, as Robert Gates, the former Defence Secretary, that Biden has not been right in 40 years when it came to the subject.  President Reagan did not have a high opinion of Biden, in the Cold War days he was seen a a major DOVE and during his time as VP to President Obama, he used all his time to undermine the Obama policy, any negative stories were feed to OBAMA through Biden.  Putin will eat Biden for dinner, and China will just outwait him, one doubts that Biden will run for a 2nd term, he's far to OLD, and the job President does take it out of you, President Obama's great black hair had gone white after eight years in the job, on the other hand President Reagan looked great, so did Bill Clinton to be fair.  In the speech Biden also removed US support for Saudi Arabian action in Yemen, that might come back to haunt Biden, the Saudi's are blocking Iran in Yemen, is of strategic importance to itself and the West.

This is either a warning shot by Tehran to the Obama Oval of the problems Iran can cause in the region after the US Congress stated it would have a say on the US/Iran deal, or there are factions in Iran that do not want the nuclear deal with the US.   The US has to be firm within reason, it has to get the ship back, otherwise other ships will come under threat from Iran, the Obama Oval should follow the strategy of the Reagan Administration, the defence of US ships in international waters and right of free navigation in the region.   The Obama Oval should not be afraid to sink ships from Iran that cause a threat to US shipping or free use of international waters.

Lets Get Real:

Is this the Oval Office doing its usual, of creating new policy then cutting the feet off the Secretary, in this case the Defence Secretary, as it has been noted before in this blog the Oval Office allowed Secretary Kerry to set the stage for war with Syria and then backed down, thus the growth of IS in Syria and Iraq and the present US attacks on IS in Iraq.   If the US sends out an aircraft carrier it sends a strong message that the opposition needs to back off, but now the Oval has made the mission pointless, the Tehran Regime will take this move as a greenlight to supply the houthis of Yemen with more weapons, thus creating more problems for Saudi Arabia, a Western ally in the region.  Whenever the Obama Administration says something about the Middle East  it causes even more problems, some people never learn.

It is time for the US and the UK to send in their special forces, at the end of the day the battle will be won on the ground, the Iraqi Army needed the help of Iran and US airplane attacks to get rid of IS from Tikrit, these two Countries in the case of IS are on the same page, but even then there are lines, Iran will not have US giving air support to its forces as they do not want to share victory with the US, while the US while wanting the Tehran Regime to take on IS does not want it to grow more of its power in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.   The backdrop to the fight in Iraq is the nuclear deal between the US and Iran, either its a good deal or President Obama has not read the fine print, the US Congress will read the fine print and see the secret parts of the deal.   The War with IS will take more than three years, thus the next US President will have to deal with Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Yemen,  other areas that have not blow up yet, there is enough time for more Crisis points before President Obama leaves Office in 2017.

There has been progress in Iraq, but its slow and blood, the Iran forces have shown that they can fight but are slow in actually getting rid of IS, also when the US is called in the Tehran groups withdrew, Iran does not want to share victory with the US.    The Iraq/ Syria conflict plays in to other problems, the Iran Regime is supporting Assad in Syria, while the West is trying to create a secular fighting force to fight Assad.  While in Yemen Saudi Arabia is fighting a Tehran supported group, the US is helping SA as it does not want to do any fighting in the Middle East when it comes to ground troops.   On the whole good news for the Obama Oval, its use of airplanes to attack IS is working, but Mosul is a different matter, that will take US troops. 

US and Iran, Is the Nuclear deal falling apart - Iran Crisis

The New York Times: Reports that Iran's Supreme Leader has stated that once the a nuclear deal is signed that, " ..declaring that all economic sanctions would have to be lifted on the day any agreement is signed and that military sites would be strictly off limits to foreign inspectors. "

This is NOT the deal the Oval Office has been selling to the US Congress and people, in the eyes of the Oval Office the Western sanctions will only be lifted if Iran follows the deal, that the IAEA will have access to ALL AREAS they want to check for nuclear material.   The Tehran Regime is playing games, they have the Obama weakness, he want to appease, no matter the cost to the US or its allies in the Middle East.   IF any deal is signed the Tehran Government will cheat, there are reports that President Obama wants to visit Iran, aka Nixon going to China.   There are differences, the Nixon visit was in the context of the Cold War, the Nixon White House wanted to move China from Soviet support to a better relationship with the US, also it needed China's support for getting the US out of Southern Vietnam and get a peace deal with North Vietnam.   President Obama is no Nixon or Kissinger that is for sure, even on his best day, the Obama ego is just to high to see that other people might have better arguments and opinions.   The Republicans will use this Tehran statement to kill the nuclear deal in the US Congress.

This would be funny if it was not serious, no one in the Middle East thinks that President Obama will do anything about the Tehran support of Shia rebels in Yemen, the Oval stated that if Assad of Syria used chemical weapons it would be a red line, as a  good soldier Secretary Kerry got the ready to march the troops up the hill, what did the Secretary find, after marching the World up to action in Syria the Oval Office got cold feet, the reason Obama took action in Iraq and Syria over the threat of Islamic State was due to the murders of US Citizens by IS.   Thus far it looks like a long war, not the three years as suggested by President Obama, it will be a problem for the next administration.   The Oval wants that nuclear deal with Iran, thus it will DO NOTHING because of Yemen, it hopes Saudi Arabia will clear the mess up, the US is out to lunch when it comes to international affairs.

The US has removed its special forces from Yemen due to the fall of the Government, that Government is in effect exile needs Saudi Arabia to take action, the US drone strikes on Al Qaeda has ceased due to the fact that they no longer have a base in Yemen.   The falling of Yemen in to civil war has helped Al Qaeda grow its influence and also gain land as noted above article.   Thus the US has three points to consider when it comes to Yemen, 1, How far can the US push Iran in Yemen before Tehran calls the nuclear deal in to question, 2, How much support will Saudi Arabia need to take out the threat from Iran, 3, While the above two are going on the terror of Al Qaeda grows and becomes even more a threat to the West.    There is no way the US would send troops in to Yemen, to many sides would like to take pot shots at any US forces, thus the Oval on the whole is following the right policy, support without getting burned.

The West has no interest in using force in Yemen, after Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and now Syria and Iraq again to fight the growth of IS, the West it tired of long terms conflict.     Saudi Arabia an ally of the West when it comes to the long term conflict between the West and Iran will have to use its own forces, the US is helping but it worried about the Iran nuclear deal and does not want it linked to other areas.   In this case SA has to send in ground troops and stop the growth and power of Iran through its supported rebels.  The Yemen Civil War is messy and needs a major power to action to keep the balance between the Gulf States and Iran.   Lets see who blinks first.

Lets Get Real:

It can be postulated that Saudi Arabia sooner or later will have to send in ground forces, the use of fighter planes to take out the Houthi rebels has not worked, the group is supported by Iran and thus every victory for the Houthi is a success for Iran.   The Tehran leadership if the nuclear deal with the US goes through can cheat its way to a nuclear bomb, very much as North Korea did in the 1990s under the Clinton Presidency.  As was pointed out in the Washington Post the same words to sell the North Korean deal  has been used by the Obama Oval.  One can expect an arms race to start within the region once Iran goes nuclear.
