Telegraph Live: Reports that the Greek Opposition Leader and his MPs have walked out of the Greek Parliament. Thus will the Greek Opposition support the EU deal and its austerity package for Greece, they are demanding the head of the Greek PM and fresh elections. The last thing the EU wants is a delay and fresh elections, in the past the Opposition has called for fresh talks on the EU deal, now it seems they want the packaged passed in this Parliament, but since the Government does not have a majority it will need Opposition support. As the Austerity package is as popular as the plague what kind of General Election will it be, the left wing Government will be running on following the deal to the letter, what will be the position of the Opposition, no fresh talks as stated by Germany and France, thus what would the Opposition do differently in power, as its from the right, it might try to sell Greek assets faster, but so far the Government has promised to sell assets but nothing so far, thus Greek politics is going to get murky folks.

Death in Afghanistan
MOD: Reports that a UK Soldier was killed today in Afghanistan, the Soldier was from the “ 2nd Battalion The Mercian Regiment (2 MERCIAN) ”. Thus since 2001 the UK has lost 384 of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan, of that total it has lost 340 in combat action and 44 due to illness, accidents or other incidents.
The Greek Referendum YES/NO ?
BBC News: Reports that the Greek PM George Papandreou has stated that he is willing to drop the idea of Referendum if the Opposition Party supports the EU austerity package. This is crafty folks, any austerity package then will have the support of the Government and the Opposition, all Parties would have economic blood on their hands. In watching the Greek PM talking in the Greek Parliament it was a case of either back the EU deal or there will be referendum. The problem for Mr Papandreou is that the Germany and France have frightened the Government MPs, thus they want the EU deal passed, but what happens afterwards, if there mass protests on the streets, even violence, the German and French leaders don’t have to live in Greece, these MPs do in less your going to go in to exile after they vote for austerity. In many respects the Greek PM wants the all of Parliament tied in to the deal, thus removing a major political weapon from the Opposition. The No Confidence vote is on Friday, it will be interesting to see if the Greek PM can get through this mess. The major victim folks is Democracy, the Classic Greeks must look with shame on present Greece.

Israel and Iran - Next Crisis
Telegraph: Reports that Israel has test fired a ballistic missile that could carry a nuclear warhead, the missile could reach Iran. The smoking gun in Israeli eyes could be a report by the UN’s IAEA which next week according to the article will state that Iran is “ engineer and test nuclear weapons at a series of banned production sites in defiance of United Nations sanctions... ”, thus the US and the UK might have to take action before Israel pulls the trigger, a military action by the US and UK with a warning to Iran not to take action could keep the attacks local to Iran. An attack by Israel could start a Middle East War, also it would get off Syria off the hook, it could supports its ally and attack Israel, at the same time close down all local opposition to the Regime. Lets see who is bluffing folks, Iran or the West.
The Blackmail of Greece - Eurozone Crisiss
BBC News: Reports that part of the expected Greek bailout of 8 billion Euros will not be given to the Greeks in till after their referendum. This is nothing short of blackmail folks, you have two big Counties, Germany and France telling Athens what the Greek people should vote on, what hubris and bullying folks, the Euro has been called a CULT by this blog, but its worse folks, by what right does Paris and Berlin tell Athens how to vote, what has happened to Democracy folks, to h-ll with the Euro, this is about the rights of the people, when a paper note is worth more than one vote, then we have forgotten what Democracy means, lets hope the Greek voters remind Paris and Berlin that X is more important than worthless paper money. Shame on Paris and Berlin, one would have thought Germany would have learned the importance of Democracy.

UK, US STRIKE on Iran ?
Guardian: Reports that the UK is developing plans to back up any US strike on the nuclear facilities of Iran. Thus a second report folks, the UK Telegraph had a report that the Israeli PM was seeking approval from his Cabinet to strike Iran. The problem of Iran is growing folks, Iran can not be allowed to become a nuclear armed power, look at how North Korea has blackmailed the Asian region, how it has gotten away with using force against South Korea. A nuclear armed Iran would be a threat to Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States, but its main target would be Israel, one day reader you could wake up to discover that Israel longer exists because Iran has nuked them, thus Israel cant wait forever for Obama to act, from the Guardian reports it seems that a decision might be needed before the November 2012 election, the left in the US would go bonkers if either Obama or Israel strike Iran, but that might work for the Oval, it might mean a second term for Obama.
