This is Trump 47 trying to see how far he can push the Republicans in the US Senate, well 4 of them vote against Gaetz or even ask tough questions, the Department of Justice were shocked and start to leak at once to CNN and the liberal media, is this the first fight that Trump wants, he still has to pull the plug on the Ukraine first, will the US Senate buy this, the President - Elect has a mandate for his agenda, as a candidate he made no secret of his plans.
