BBC News: Reports that the Credit status of Greece has been downgraded to junk status. In other words any debt owed by the Greek Government will never be repaid, thus if you hold Greek debt this is the time to sell, get out of the market. It was reported in the UK Guardian that Greece would need 150 billion over three years to keep the dogs from the door. It can be argued that Greece should be allowed to fail, this is the only way it will learn that the Government cant be the nanny state, this is the road the UK and the US is following, lets hope the Oval Office is watching Greece and what an out of control debt can do to an ancient civilization, why should the EU and the IMF bail out the bad politicians of Greece, lets allow Greece to fail, sell its assets, we will take the Marbles in the British Museum as down payment, anything else they would like to sell, well sure the British Museum can take them in, some classical buildings in Greece that would nice in London.
A look at the Politics of the United States and the UK. The Foreign Policies of both countries and how they behave in the International Community.

Wall Street vs Main Street - Economic Reform
The New York Times: Reports on the successful effort last night by Republicans to block Obama's Reform of Wall Street. The Republicans have argued that the Reform allows for more Government bailout of Wall Street, the issue on the face of it should be a net plus for Obama, but the Republicans have been successful in creating the impression that the Reform Bill is pro Wall Street. The Republicans want to remove a 50 Billion safety net for Wall Street, if the Republicans can create the impression that Obama is all spin and is more pro Wall Street than Main Street this will help in the 2010 Mid Term Elections. The White House has stated that it wants to get rid of the safety net but it is still there, thus one has to ask who is placing pressure on Democrats to keep the safety net, one suspect is Wall Street.
The Dark Prince ATTACKS LibDems
The Times: Reports that the Dark Prince of Spin ( at one time could win elections ) Lord Mandelson has attacked the Lib Dems, he has stated if voters go with Nick Clegg the leader of the Lib Dems they could put David Cameron in to No 10. At one time Lord Mandelson was the King of Spin, the Dark Prince of the political arts, but when the Guru becomes the story then the point of the story losses its impact. The Dark Prince should keep to policy, or keep his mouth shut, he is playing in to the hands of the LibDems, the story will be about Hung Parliaments, not the policy, that is what PM Gordon Brown wants to end his political career on, so let it be policy.
Labour SELLING OUT the NHS
As Today has been about public spending cuts, the Conservative Party has shown how the Labour Party will cut the NHS Budget. The Conservative Party states the following on Labour Plan:
Buried in Government reports, we have uncovered secret plans that could lead to cuts of almost £5 billion in total in the NHS budget.
More than half of hospitals are planning to cut the number of doctors they employ. We have uncovered plans for a net cut of 650 doctors in England.
More than half of hospitals are planning to cut the number of nurses they employ. We have uncovered plans for a net cut of more than 2,000 nurses in England.
NHS West Midlands – the only area to provide regional figures – is on its own planning to cut almost 1,000 nurses.
Three in five hospitals are planning bed cuts. We have uncovered plans for net bed cuts of 1,500 in England.
We have also obtained a copy of the workforce plan of one trust, which shows a four per cent cut in the number of consultants and a ten per cent cut in the number of nurses and midwives.
The Conservative Party will protect the NHS.
UK Economic Cuts - UK General Election
BBC News: Reports that the UK will need deep cuts in public spending if its to get back in to the black, the UK has not seen such public spending cuts since the 1970s/80s. The UK is broke folks, there have to be deep cuts in public spending from the welfare state to defence, if the UK does not make these cuts we will be on the same road as Greece. The problem is that the voter has its head in the sand, it expects others to take the pain of cuts, well folks its time for the UK voter and lets be blunt here folks, to get his/her head our of their backside and face the fact that the good years are over, we are in for very tough times, less government spending, more taxes, it will take years to get back to the good times, thus don't expect tax cuts folks, its going to be a cold few years.
