President Biden vs. " President " Manchin - Domestic Agenda - Biden Era

 This will annoy the hell out of Senator Manchin... This is the way piss off a US Senator that you need!

The White House: The following a statement by the White House Press Secretary, " Senator Manchin’s comments this morning on FOX are at odds with his discussions this week with the President, with White House staff, and with his own public utterances. Weeks ago, Senator Manchin committed to the President, at his home in Wilmington, to support the Build Back Better framework that the President then subsequently announced. Senator Manchin pledged repeatedly to negotiate on finalizing that framework “in good faith.”.....On Tuesday of this week, Senator Manchin came to the White House and submitted—to the President, in person, directly—a written outline for a Build Back Better bill that was the same size and scope as the President’s framework, and covered many of the same priorities. While that framework was missing key priorities, we believed it could lead to a compromise acceptable to all. Senator Manchin promised to continue conversations in the days ahead, and to work with us to reach that common ground. If his comments on FOX and written statement indicate an end to that effort, they represent a sudden and inexplicable reversal in his position, and a breach of his commitments to the President and the Senator’s colleagues in the House and Senate....Just as Senator Manchin reversed his position on Build Back Better this morning, we will continue to press him to see if he will reverse his position yet again, to honor his prior commitments and be true to his word....We are proud of what we have gotten done in 2021: the American Rescue Plan, the fastest decrease in unemployment in U.S. history, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, over 200 million Americans vaccinated, schools reopened, the fastest rollout of vaccines to children anywhere in the world, and historic appointments to the Federal judiciary....."

Lets Get Real:

One hopes this was done by the Press Secretary and not the Oval, as a Senator for decades Biden must know that he could lose Manchin to the Republicans and then he loses the US Senate, one does not mend bridges or try to get someone to change their mind if you are calling their word no good and a liar.  The Biden Oval should put out another statement, saying the Press Secretary had gone rogue and this was not the view of Biden Oval.  Otherwise Manchin could be a pain in the arse for Biden and other policies.  One has to say that Manchin has been very true to his word, he has never liked the BBB, and he has had regular meetings with POTUS, at the end of the day he went on FOX NEWS, this is a DIRECT MESSAGE to the Biden Oval, try something else!  One can say LBJ and Reagan would have done a better job, so far Biden does not look great and is nowhere near a good or great President as were LBJ on the domestic front, also Reagan.  Also Reagan could keep his troops in line, Biden one presumes has known Manchin for Years, is he that bad at reading people.  To clear the above he needs a new Press Secretary.

Lets Get Real:

In less Senator Manchin has a conversion in the Christmas Period a MAJOR PART of the Biden is DEAD ON THE HILL.   The Biden package was to much for Manchin, he comes from a STATE that voted by 40% for Trump, I know how I would vote in such a case. CNN had that old Socialist Senator Sanders on, it would be fun to see a Vermont Liberal go to WEST VIRGINA, you would be need the national  guard around him to prevent the eggs being thrown at him!!  Lets recall Senator Sanders on his honeymoon took his new bride to the USSR, he has never come back, that is the OLD JOKE.  One can cannot even call Sanders a Democrat, he has never joined the Democrats, he has moved the Democratic Party to the LEFT, the same path as the House Squad, that should tell you enough about his direction.  The last face the Democrats would want on this issue is his, but then its CNN, they LOST THE PLOT some time ago, it will be interesting how they spin this, and they will spin it, the Party line will be that the US has low unemployment, not seen in 40 years, and Biden passed a infrastructure bill, something the last few Presidents have not done.  But what worries the voter, 1. PANDEMIC, 2. inflation, that hurts in the pocket book.   This is WHY Presidents move to foreign policy, they have more freedom, time for Biden to be TOUGH with Putin of Russia and Iran.
