Starmer and Allies seeking decent PEACE in Ukraine - Update

Sky News: Reports that Sir Keir Starmer and his coalition of the willing a seeking a decent peace in the Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

A decent peace in the Ukraine is not going to happen, the US under Trump is in Appeasement mode under Trump and his America First philosophy, his base hates the idea of the US as the world's Policeman after Iraq and Afghanistan failures, the Kremlin in Moscow agrees with them on this issue.  Thus the real question is how much land the Ukraine is going to lose to Russia.   The real question is will the coalition of the willing give solid security guarantees to the Ukraine when Russia comes back for more, thus start WW3.  Interesting days ahead.

Zelensky meets coalition of the willing - Update

Guardian: Reports in its 1.45pm post that President Zelensky has met the leaders of the coalition of the willing at 10 Downing Street.

Lets Get Real:

Europe, in this case France, Germany, have to decide if they can replace US as the main support for the Ukraine, the UK under Sir Keir is already there, while also keeping POTUS happy, he is peeved that Zelensky has not yet read the new peace plan! Thus the UK, France and Germany and others have to decided how close they want the Russian Bear, Ukraine is like Czechoslovakia in 1938, once Russia gets the Donbas, what stops going for Kyiv later on.   Do Europe want to give security guarantees to Ukraine, they might be called sooner than you think.

Zelensky in London for talks - Update

BBC News: Reports in its 7.22am post that President Zelensky of the Ukraine will meet in London with PM Starmer.

Lets Get Real:

The Ukrainian President has so far not read the revised Peace plan for the Ukraine, as the article notes this has made POTUS unhappy, his son has suggested  that Trump could walk away from the talks, his voters want him to concentrate on domestic issues.  That is the problem with America First philosophy, thank God that FDR was President in 1939 - 41, with leand lease, this helped UK in WW2.    One gets the impression that Trump would have supported the Axis powers, he likes tyrants.
