This what happens when the German Chancellor stated that the US was being humiliated by the Tehran Regime.  Other Presidents would have let it go, Trump has very thin skin, Spain and Italy could face the same wrath, Allies are a two way street for Trump, the UK PM has suffered of late, it took a Royal Visit to mend fences.  IRAN is the problem that won't go away, talks are going nowhere, will the US strike again, it could be on the cards.

The Russians are stuck in their previous demands, they must have seen the news from Berlin, they will NEVER accept Western Troops in the Ukraine or the US security guarantees from the US and Europe.   Thus the Trump will have to make a choice, does he support Europe over Russia, did he have balls of steel to go up against Putin, his tyrant buddy.  The next few days will be interesting.

End of Pax American - Germany- Update

The above is shocking from a German Chancellor, one never thought one would hear that, Sir Keir Starmer is still on the fence trying to keep Ukraine, Europe and the US on the same page, how long can he do that, in the end it has to come to UK and European Security, if Trump is under the thumb of Moscow, then Europe will have to give iron clad security guarantees to the Ukraine.  The issue of the Ukraine, will be front and centre for years when it comes to foreign policy. 

Witkoff to meet Zelensky in Germany - Update

Thus more meetings, Trump might have a point about that, the US wants the Donbas in East Ukraine to become a Free Economic Zone, the Ukrainian troops would leave, would you trust the Russian word not take advantage of this new situation.  The Ukraine would require IRON CLAD Security Guarantees, from Europe and the US, legally binding, not just Trump's word, not worth the paper it would be written on.    Europe has decided to freeze Russian assets, they should given to the Ukraine, that would hurt Putin and help the Ukraine.   

We are next, Russian Threat - NATO

If Russia wins in  Ukraine then Poland, Baltic States are  the NEXT land grap by Russia.  EUROPE has not seen such a threat since 1930s and the rise of Nazi Germany.  The simple solution and a brave one, is to place UK, France and German troops in Ukraine, draw a line in the sand, say to Putin, NO MORE.  Thus to prevent WW3 take the lead, Putin will back off for a while at least.

It has come to something, that the suppose Western Allies have to have a frank talk about European security, and the problem is not Russia as such, but the Oval Office.  This could be the break up of the Western Alliance, a system that has defended the US and Europe against the Evil Empire of Russia since the dawn of the Cold War.  The question is will Trump and coalition of the willing give security guarantees to Ukraine, does NATO still have a job.  Interesting days ahead.

Europe, in this case France, Germany, have to decide if they can replace US as the main support for the Ukraine, the UK under Sir Keir is already there, while also keeping POTUS happy, he is peeved that Zelensky has not yet read the new peace plan! Thus the UK, France and Germany and others have to decided how close they want the Russian Bear, Ukraine is like Czechoslovakia in 1938, once Russia gets the Donbas, what stops going for Kyiv later on.   Do Europe want to give security guarantees to Ukraine, they might be called sooner than you think.

The future Trump47 Oval will not be happy, he wants to wind down the WAR, did Biden tell him when they met that he was going to do this, if not Trump will be furious.  Thus the Ukraine should use them NOW, last night Russia hit the Ukraine hard, there are blackouts because of the strike.  One does hope that Ukraine goes down fighting EVIL, before Trump arrives in January.  We are on the road of the 1930s, Appeasement before WAR.

The No1 War Criminal on the lose checks out how much damage his Army is doing to the Ukraine, also checking to make the Army is still loyal to him given the disaster that the Ukraine has been for Russia and the aim of Putin to return to the Glory years of Imperial Russia and the USSR.   One is surprised that Putin has not tired something BOLD to change the news on the ground, his loses his mouth to threaten nuclear war, but does nothing, and has not really reacted to Finland becoming part of NATO.  The Unity of NATO must has been a shock to Putin and the Kremlin, in fact Putin has made the NATO foundation stronger, Germany has finally given tanks to the Ukraine and Eastern Europe has given the Ukraine some old fighter jets.  Thus the question when will the Ukraine offensive take place, this might be their one chance of victory, the Russian offensive has failed so far.   It is time to push the Russians back to the Crimea.

The expected Ukraine offensive against the Russians should be ready in a few weeks, when the West has supplied all the tanks they have promised then the Kyiv Government  can take the fight to the Russians, thus Russian offensive has stalled, the inch by inch taking of the Russians has been stalled by the brave action of the Ukraine Forces, in their trench's, with Drones and in their old Soviet Fighter Jets.  The West needs to send modern Western Fighter jets to the Ukraine, the Russians have moved tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, this is sabre rattling by Putin, he has nothing else in the shed, in many ways the Russian Army is a busted flush, it has shown that it has bad generals, that it has bad strategy and is WEAK when it counts.  This is the time for the West and the Ukraine to smash Russia, push it back over the border and retake Crimea.  There can only be one winner, and that is the Ukraine.

Supporting Ukraine is a 'worldwide commitment', Biden says...( POTUS states ) " "Today I'm announcing that the United States will be sending 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, the equivalent of one Ukrainian battalion" he says.  "

This has been expected since last night, 31 Abrams Tanks will take some time to learn, the Germans tanks are closer and will be easier to learn for the Ukraine Soldiers.  One should expect more Countries to join in sending tanks to the Ukraine, as already announced, the UK is sending its Challenger 2 tanks, the Poles have stated they will send tanks.  The President of the Ukraine has stated he needs around 300 tanks, he might not get that much, but close to enough to help the Ukraine forces push back the expected Russian offensive after the winter.  The next issue on the agenda will be fighter jets, the Ukraine Air Force and Drone operators have shown great skill and courage in opposition to the Russian Air Force.  The Russians have thrown a fit over the tanks, as expected, but they do not actually do anything as with previous threats, one assumes the Bidne Oval has told them, if they go nuclear or WMD then all bets are off and NATO would come it, also the Russians get their supplies from North Korea and Iran, China from reports is keeping a low profile, it does not want to be associated with a defeat if the Ukraine wins.  Thus what will Putin do, one is sure the question is being asked in Putin's Kremlin right now!

He is widely expected to announce plans to send at least 30 of America's advanced combat vehicles to Ukraine  "

Thus the good news that the Kyiv Government and the rest of NATO has been waiting for, the Germans will sent their modern tanks and that will be followed by the US.  Of late one has to be fair to Germany, they are the 2nd largest economic funding for the Ukraine and have given a lot of military kit, this latest development shows that Germany can be a economic and military power and they are on the right side this time.  The Biden Oval also needs some praise, they have done what no one expected, the sending of the M1 tanks to Germany, that tank as a get engine, that will take time to learn how to drive.  One can expect other Countries to follow suit.  The Russians are not happy, well they did start the Ukraine War, they will be worried that their tanks is no match for Western tanks, let's hope the Ukraine uses the tanks in a effective manner, also it will test out Western Tanks in actual combat, the West might learn a few lessons.  It is time for the Ukraine to kick Russian backsides, let's hope they win, otherwise we could face World War 3 if Putin wins.

Due to the history between Germany and Poland, the German Chancellor should have said YES by now, the German Chancellor seems more afraid of annoying Russia than the protection and support for ALLIES.  The US is one thing, what the Germans did to Poland in World War 2 and afterwards, should place pressure on the German Chancellor and people to support any move by the Poles to support the Ukraine.  This lack of action by Berlin will go down well with Putin's Kremlin, they will see the move as causing a division between the ALLIES.  Why is the German Chancellor taking so long, one understand the German pacifist history after WW2, but by not taking action now the Germans might cause WW3, the Russians will not stop in the Ukraine, will be the BALTIC STATES next or Poland and that would mean WW3.  The Germans are playing the appeasement role of the UK during the 1930s, that is not something the German Chancellor should want, does he want to be the new Neville Chamberlain or Churchill, that is the question for Berlin.

It seems that the World, well the West is waiting for the German Chancellor to confirm this view from Berlin, the Chancellor it seems has gone off the radar, the Ukraine needs its TANKS, also it needs spares, tanks have been known to break down.  The West needs to get moving, the Ukraine troops need to be trained to use the German tanks, this will take time, and it's time the Ukraine does not have, they have to strike first before the Russians rearm and get more troops in to the battle, the Ukraine needs to push the Russians back, even to the Crimea, and if that works, get them out of the Crimea.  The UK is doing its bit, sending out 14 Challenger 2 tanks, but this is not enough, this is the chance for NATO and the West to prevent the WAR coming their borders.  It is WAKE UP time in Berlin, the Chancellor has to say something and stick to it, that means giving the green signal to the rest of Europe.

The Kyiv Government need TAKS NOW, not when the German Chancellor gets from under his desk, it seems that the Germans are afraid of the Russian redlines, this shows they are unreliable ally in a tight spot.  The fault also lies with the Biden Oval, the US President should not need to request that Germany does something for the security NATO, he should order it, and threaten reaction if his orders are not followed through.  When President Reagan was in the White House and Israel was doing something it should not do in Lebanon, the President got mad, he warned the then Israeli PM that the US would have to reconsider its relationship with Israel and then put the phone down on him. The Israeli PM called back and backed down.  Thus President Biden once said a story, that he heard Hail to the Chief being played and turned around to see the President, he was the President, thus he should order and in quick time for Germany to do as the US wants, the US has protected Germany for decades, JFK in his famous German address stated that " We are all Citizens of Berlin " during the Cold War, and President Reagan asked President Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall, and within a few years it was gone by the hands of the German people, if the present Chancellor was in charge then, he would have stopped it, as not to inflame the then USSR.  Both great Presidents will be turning in their graves, they were PRESIDENTS and great ones in their time.  Thus the Biden Oval should remind the Germans of the cost of keeping US troops in Germany and the US's support for NATO, COME ON GERMANY, be a reliable ally.

It's time for Berlin to stand up to the Russians, the US has sent billions in economic and military support to Kiev, as for the Germany, there main support has been military caps!  The Germans have to get over their PAST, it's time to send TANKS to the Ukraine, if the delay it might be to late, do they want the Russians on the border of NATO Countries like Poland, that can only lead to World War 3, IF modern Germany wants to be considered a REAL POWER in Europe then it needs to send its tanks, it cannot always expect the US and the UK to carry the main burden, Biden might need the Congress to support the idea of sending tanks, at present the House is held by the Republicans, they might delay, as they are in the thrall of Donald Trump.  It should be recalled that the UK is sending 14 Challenger 2 tanks, many more might be needed, the Ukraine can't be expected to fight an die for the West if the WEST will not give it what it wants in military kit.  About time for Biden to tell Germany, get a move on, or else they will be seen as appeasing Putin, and Germany knows what happens when the West appeases tyranny.

This is shocking news from modern Germany, one would have thought after World War 2 that the Germans would have learned the historic lessons from that nightmare, one can now see why they take their school age children to concentration camps SO that future generations do not go through the same process, ( this blog thought that it was a bit extreme to take modern Germans back to that period, it seems this blog was wrong ).  The German State has to keep its eyes and ears open to such threats, as the US showed in 2020, Countries that would never think of such things happen can happen if the left or right are not kept a close eye on. NOTHING like that can happen in the UK, we fought to World Wars to prevent that, the centre right might complain about the usual suspects, the BBC over Brexit, the Guardian over everything, Channel 4 News etc, but we accept its part of DEMOCRATIC Country to listen to the other side, even if your eyebrows do go up sometimes, we would never put them in the TOWER OF LONDON, we are better than that, one does hope that MI5 and GCHQ have their eyes and ears open, such threats must be ended before they become a THREAT.
