US to reduce 5,000 Troops in Germany - Update

This what happens when the German Chancellor stated that the US was being humiliated by the Tehran Regime.  Other Presidents would have let it go, Trump has very thin skin, Spain and Italy could face the same wrath, Allies are a two way street for Trump, the UK PM has suffered of late, it took a Royal Visit to mend fences.  IRAN is the problem that won't go away, talks are going nowhere, will the US strike again, it could be on the cards.

This Trump getting back at the UK because it refused to join in its War with Iran.  The Spanish are looking at been thrown out of NATO, we in the UK have to recall we still need the US in NATO, whatever the temper tantrums of the Trump Oval.  There is the War in the Ukraine, we have to keep the US involved, that could be WW3 around the corner.

Europe has to defend the Ukraine from Russia, it can't count on the US, POTUS is the lap dog of Putin of Russia.

This blog has been very honest in the past, it has severe OCD and if it thought that the Coronavirus was another Spanish Flu it would say so and lock itself in the HOUSE, it does not and thus will take with a pit of caution that we have another Spanish Flu.   The NHS in the UK and the rest of the Western World has built up their systems over the years, thus the idea that people should start to wear medical masks in the UK, seem a bit out of it.   The cases in Italy one can see the point, even if they have not found patient ZERO yet.   Thus stay calm and keep a even course.  

Catalan Update Part 2 - Spanish Crisis

The rest of the EU should be worried by Spain, all Countries within the EU have areas who think they should become an independent Nation.   The EU would fall apart if there were a number of areas that declared they were free of Central control, with Greece and Brexit the EU has enough problems, it should be firm that it will only deal with central governments and that new countries will not be admitted to the EU.  The Madrid Government should first send in the Police to arrest those that have pushed Catalan in to this latest crisis, then and only then if that does not work should the Army be sent in, it should be the last resort, but it has to be an option.   Interesting days ahead in Spain. 

Catalan New Nation, How Long ? - EU Crisis

As this blog suggested last week the Spanish Government should read the riot act in Catalan, place those Independence leaders who pushed this claim forward in jail for treason.   The Madrid Government has to show firmness, no talks, no getting the EU in, that would open the flood gates to other areas wanting their freedom.   The EU as a body politic can not cope with other poor nations wanting to be part of the EU gravy train. The German tax payer will revolt if has to bail other Countries out, we do not want to see the far right getting more Seats in the German Parliament.  Time for the EU to wake up and go to sleep again, Catalan is more trouble than its worth. 

Catalan Update - The Spanish Crisis

The Madrid Government should just do nothing, no talks with the regional Catalan Government, not take a blind bit of notice, should the Catalan Government try to go for broke the Madrid should call in the Police to arrest the plotters as traitors to Spain.  The Scottish vote was different, the people of Scotland wanted it, and they showed they wanted to stay in the Union, the SNP has gone very quiet on the subject since.  If you allow ALL the regions of the EU to have a vote you will have chaos, Madrid has to be FIRM, even send in the Army if needed to bring Catalan firmly under control. 

The Catalan Crisis - Spain

The Madrid Government needs to come down HARD on Catalan, it was an illegal vote, and is a threat to Spain and could cause other areas in the EU to demand they also get a Vote to become an Independent Nation.   The SNP in Scotland must be worried if they try for another vote the Spanish Government could place a block on it becoming a part of the EU.   Thus the Spanish Government has to be FIRM, if need be the troops should be sent in, it is treason to Spain and the Crown.  Madrid needs to send a clear message, this far and no further. 

Catalan referendum and the reaction by the Spanish Government

The UK Government should use this development in Catalan to its advantage, it should place pressure on Madrid to support our talks over Brexit, while we make sure that the EU on the whole says nothing about Catalan, it's good because the EU does not want to upset the Spanish, it has enough problems with the Greeks and the UK leaving, so they are hardly going to say anything that causes problems IN Spain, while we cut a good deal with the EU, who says foreign policy has to be ethical.   This above is real politics at its core.   As to Catalan one could care less, law and order must be upheld, thus the riot act should be announced and a curfew at night, that should get people off the streets, the Government of Catalan has not gone through the legal process, also the EU needs one Spain, does not want to fund another poor new Country, the Greeks are bad enough.

The attacked has been claimed by Daesh, this is the result of the US and Iraq winning in Iraq, and US allies taking the fight to Daesh in it's Capital in Syria.   It can be expected that Daesh will try to cause havoc in the West as to counter the success of the West in the Middle East.   It is open question if the attack came directly from Daesh or its a lone wolf or wolfs who have become supporters through the internet. The US and Europe should be on guard, there will be more terrorist attacks, the left will try to blame Trump, what ever else Trump is he has pushed Daesh hard in the Middle East, there has been no let up since the Obama Administration.  With North Korea and the Daesh the Oval should have a full desk, but this being Trump he has gone bonkers, the Washington D.C Elite Establishment has come out against him over the tragic events in Virginia, while Trump has come out in the defence of Confederate Statues, the US has bigger problems, Trump should grow up, or least say nothing that damages US race relationships in the US.   Interesting days ahead!!

The UK Government should make it clear to the EU and Spain, that Gibraltar is not open for discussion, any deal with the UK takes Gibraltar and Northern Ireland as the same as Wales.   As long as the good people of Gibraltar and North Ireland want to be British they will BE BRITISH.  The May Government has to be tough with the EU, we will not give them a farthing, the UK will decide TAX RULES and Immigration rules not the EU.  At the  end of the day the UK might  have to take a HARD BREXIT, then we will control all part of UK law. The EU should remember that the UK voter does not react well to blackmail, WW1, WW2 does not have to be mentioned.

The UK Government should say NO to another Scottish Vote, they have already had one, and the people of Scotland SAID NO, which part of NO does the SNP not understand.   IF the UK Government does grant a 2nd vote it should be strict, it should be after Brexit, and 50% of all Scots must vote, and then get over 50% of the Vote.   The UK Government should make it CLEAR to Scotland, that if they vote YES, they lose the Queen, they lose the pound, also they lose the OIL.  In fact they should not  allowed to have their own security, it would be threat to the realm.  This blog does not care if the Scottish First Minister gets her knickers in a twist, London control events, not Scotland.   The good people of Scotland did not suffer through WW1 and WW2 to be lead by a phony.   Time for Union Scots to say no to the SNP, and this time LOUD and CLEAR.

Greece Lates - Greek Crisis

The Stock Market is up, they must know something that the rest of us do not, one can assume that a deal is in the works between the EU and Greece.   Lets see how much pain Germany is willing to take with hair cuts to the debts that Germans banks hold of Greek debts.   In return for the cut in debts one can expect that on the PR side the Greeks will say they will do reforms, of course once the news cycle moves the Greeks will do bugger all and it will be to late for the EU to demand reforms.   The next countries with their hands out will be Spain and Italy.

Either the EU holds the line or every Country with election will have Parties of the extreme spending German money on their own promises.  The EU can make the loans to Greece on a longer period, but they can not write off billions, it would make the Euro in the long term a dagger in the heart of those Countries that do not have a corrupt political system, the German tax payer is not going to pay for the political promises of Greece, Spain or Italy.   Of course in typical EU style they might find a solution that no one understands and push the issue down the road, lets see what the Germans say over the next few days.

VOTE NO Scotland - The Future of the UK

One thing about the SCOTS, they like it real with no BS, well its time to tell Scotland, they will not have the pound, the Queen either, that London will block any Scottish request to join EU, NATO, even at the UN.  It might not just be London, Spain has it own internal problems and does not want to give the green light for votes in its regions.   The major business companies should put the fear of God in to the different generations of Scots, hike in prices, double to pay for the BBC, pensions and benefits would be cut, why should the rest of the UK pay for the Scots to go it alone.  Lets freeze their kilts with the harsh cold truth and logic, you either for US and that means ALL, or your on your own, and your neither regions will feel the cold of being alone with NO Queen, No Pound, No Benefits.   That is keeping it real.

The Oval saw what happened when the US did not place its Embassies and people on alert on the 11th September 2012 in Libya, it lost four people, one being the first US Ambassador killed in over thirty years, the Oval can not afford another terrorist attack on its watch, also the US has failed to find the terrorists that killed the Libyan Consulate Staff, even if CNN can find them and talk to the alleged suspects.   This is why we need the NSA and its allies to spy on the actions of those around the World, the West and its allies only have to fail once, and we have another 9/11,7/7 and Spain.   Thus lets hope the Oval and the Administration has learned the lesson of Libya and is on red alert, failure is not a option folks.

The dirty secret of the EU is out folks, the template for future bailouts will be for the savers in EU banks with over a 100k to lose up 40% of their savings, no matter if your Russian or not, or a small business.   An interesting BBC 2 Newsnight report on Cyprus showed how small business in Cyprus will be hurt, as the Bank is the common link between customers to a business buying products for its business, if the transaction is over a 100k it could be hit with the 40% tax, thus everyone in the lines gets hit, the idea that this will stay in Cyprus is a MAD view of the global economy, somewhere folks the Cyprus link will have consequences outside the Cyprus and it will hurt the global economy, its a GLOBAL economy folks, the idea that you can collapse the banking system of Cyprus and for not results outside Cyprus shows a real lack of understanding how the everything is connected.   The Banks in Cyprus bought a lot of Greek bonds, with the haircut they lost millions, even billions, did the banks in Cyprus insure their bonds against this, and those that have Cyprus bonds will be looking to get some money back or to get rid of them, then they will have insurance, you get the idea folks.    This is not over folks, also if you have big savings or a small business in the PIGS Countries time to move your savings to non EU Countries, or turn your assets in to gold etc.   The financial crisis of 2008 is not over folks and the policy of theft by the EU is going to make it a lot worse.

Thus folks the Banks in Cyprus open tomorrow, the Government has bought in limits in how much the people of Cyprus can take out of their own accounts, the State is telling its OWN people how much of THEIR money they can have, think about that folks, this is not the USSR, Cuba, this is the EU in the 21 Century, its like something out of the early late 1940s folks, those heady black and white days!!.    The question is what next for Cyprus, well advice to the poor and I mean poor people of Cyprus, GET OUT OF THE EURO, its not going to make Cyprus stronger, its going to kill the economy of Cyprus.   The EU has decide to steal the money of Russian savers, on the theory that it is dirty money, and the savers can not say a thing, blackmail in other words folks.  It will be interesting to see how the people of Cyprus react tomorrow, will there be lines of people wanting to get THEIR money and out and be told NO.  How will they react, News crews from around the world will be watching folks. There you have it folks, the dirty secret is out, the next Country to ask for a bailout will have to steal from its savers, think about this folks, will the EU dare ask Greece, or Italy or Spain to raid and steal the money of its savers.   What if France needed a bailout, will the left wing President Hollande steal the money of French savers to protect the Euro, will Greece revolt should they need extra funds and are told to steal from their own people.   How can the EU grow in economic terms if it is attacking the rich, why build a business if the tax man is going to steal what you and your workers have produced, the EU has failed to learn the lesson of the USSR.  This policy of theft will end baldy folks, it always does, the EU is so up the backside of the Euro it can not see straight any more, the politicians of the EU have lost the backbone to say NO, it will happen folks, and the results will be short term disaster, but then the EU can grown, the Euro is killing the EU, the Euro needs to be buried and fast, otherwise it will take the EU with it, what price the Euro folks.

What if Greece, Spain come cap in hand again to the EU, will Germany again state that savers with large savings have to give up a majority of it, can the Western Banking system cope with the idea that the State, that has not gone through a Revolution phase is stealing the money of savers.   At least in 1917 with the fall of Tsarist Russia the State that would become the USSR has a Communist Agenda, you knew what you were getting, Germany is demanding that a democracy steal from its savers, with no proof of wrong doing, its just wrong folks, no one seems to get that fact, just because its Russian money it should not be seen as safe money to steal.    The Euro has become an end it itself for the EU, it mus be protected at all costs, even if it destroys the economic structure of the EU, one day someone will be brave to say NO, lets hope it is soon folks, democracy can not last when theft is so open and with no blow back.
