Lord Peter Mandelson, the Dark Prince has been a disaster for Sir Keir Starmer and the Labour Government, his unsavory, a friendship with sexual trafficker has shown how much a disaster was the choice to make him the UK's Ambassador to the US.  The release of his contacts with the Labour Government Ministers, has shown a low opinion of the PM and shown that Labour just wants to tax people to pay for welfare.  This means to hell with the working class, once the bedrock of Labour.  The UK needs a General Election and fast, it won't happen as Labour MP's know their careers would come to an end.  Who can save Labour NOW, will it be Andy or Wes, we shall see after the by election in Makerfield on June 18th.

The Labour Party won't listen to a very successful Labour PM and leader.  The Party has gone left, it feels morally superior to everyone else.  They will never cut welfare as Labour members are to left wing, also we have an unofficial Leadership contest going on.  Starmer in political terms is a dodo, whistling pass the political graveyard.  Wes Streeting is seen as to much of Blair supporter, why Andy Burnham if he wins Makerfield by election is seen as best suited by Labour members.  They won't listen to Blair after Iraq.

The Conservative financial hawks folded in their resistance to the Trump domestic agenda in the House.  The Republicans have been clever, the tax cuts come first, the welfare  cuts come in 2028, therefore the Democrats will run against tax cuts in the 2026 Mid Terms.  The Democrats need a new leader for 2028.

Lets Get Real:

Thus it moves to the House, it must pass unchanged to become law.   Any changes and the bill goes back to the Senate.  The Trump Oval will have to make sure that Conservative hawks do not sink the Bill.  THEY should sink it, the bill trillions to the US National Debt and cuts welfare to much.  Politics is politics, one expects the House to pass the bill under pressure from Trump.  There is 2026 Mid Terms to come, tax cuts are always good to run on.

The Republicans control all three branches of Government, in the House its by a few Seats, more of a majority in the Senate.  The BBB will confirm the Trump tax cuts of his first term and cut welfare, the Democrats are fighting this with simple point that 3 trillion will be added to the National Debt.  This should be a red line to real Conservatives, but not Trump's Republicans, the US voters will see if he Trump can master Congress like FDR, LBJ, Reagan, Clinton, Bush 43, Obama, even the semi senile Biden. Developing!

This blog warned the voters if you are old or rich or both the Labour Government would come after you, the basic support for Labour is new Graduates and the old trade unions, such as the pay demands from young Doctors were met, while old people have lost the Winter Fuel Allowance, something that could back to haunt the Labour Government in the future.  The PM offers more pain, that will not go down well with voters.   The problem is that Sir Keir has the charisma of a dodo, he is no Tony Blair, as in the 1997.  The voters voted for Labour as they wanted competence, the old Conservative Party and Government had lost the trust of the people.   Pain better come with joy or the Labour Party will lose at the next election.

It was a scrappy debate, it seemed that the PM wanted it more, Sir Keir went on and on about his record as a Prosecutor, do you really think that President Putin will care, should the crisis in the Ukraine get worse.  There were not questions on foreign policy, the questions were all on domestic issues, it ca be fair to say that Starmer was all image and no substance as when he comes PM next Thursday, the crisis's developed, there will be no real support for him.    In other words when the reality of the World comes knocking they will find a PM will shallow support but with a Super Majority, this will be 1997 but worse, Labour could be in power for 20 years, and they will do what they usually do as my friend said, " a Shit show " after 18 months, the gleam will have come off, immigration of the illegal kind will rise, taxes will go up and the people cant complain, they gave Labour a super majority, of over 200.    It will take about 15 to 20 years to get rid of them, the UK VOTER has been told, I do not want to hear that non one told them.   The people get the Government they deserve!

Who ever put the above event on today's schedule needs to be fired, and this blog supports POTUS in 2024.   The last part as stated above was not about gun control, but how POTUS feels about what happened today.   There might come a time when Biden has to pardon his son or commute his sentence,  no father with the power that he has will allow his only living son and farther to his grandchildren to be set to jail.   Let's not forget that there is a 2nd trial in California over tax issues, not so easy to pull on the heart strings, when the law and politics mix, it dose  not work for either side.

The American LEFT in the US will want a more fulsome rebuke of ISRAEL, the Biden Camp needs people of Arab Decent to vote for them in November, the race is close between Biden and Trump, the Trial in New York could bring in a guilty verdict, the State is very Democratic, also the charges are bogus, paying off a porn star in not an offense, but that simple fact might be over the heads of the Jury, thus one expects a guilty verdict and  a long appeal process.   If it is a guilty result, one will be interested to see the polls, could it be the END of Trump, one has  doubts.  Thus in 2024 you have the Israel - Gaza War in the Middle East and the Ukraine War in Europe, either could lead to WW3.

I have heard the same music before form the LABOUR PARTY and they always leave OFFICE after the wreaking the economy, the 1970s and then in 2007 with the financial crisis, they always over promise and then FAIL.  Also this time its different, there could be WW3 around the corner with Russia, the people of the UK have to wake up, this is more like the 1930s not the 1970s, Putin is already putting out ceasefire noise about the Ukraine.  It will be interesting to see what Labour say will be their defence posture, will a new LABOUR GOVERNMENT really want to spend its money on the Ukraine, what happens if Trump wins in November, he will demands that the UK spend more on defence and rest of Europe.  This is not 1997 and New Labour and New Britain, recall the Emperor Nero was popular on his succession, he was styled the Prince of Youth and looked what happened, Blair has Iraq, always Iraq.

A few weeks ago Hunter Biden had a sweet heart deal, a please deal to federal charges, it was the Judge who up BLEW the deal, she asked would the deal clear Biden on any future charges, the Prosecution said no, while the Hunter Biden team thought that was the deal.  Thus we could have the son of the current President on Trial and the former President on Trial during the 2024 elections, great if your a political geek, not so great for the US and the Presidency.  One does have to ask why the prosecutor in the Biden case asked for the promotion , and why the AG agreed, is the AG protecting his own backside and that of the Biden Department of Justice or is there more crimes out there, one does wonder WHY CNN does not have more reporters on the  case, if its Trump they have dozen reporters on it, 2024 got more interesting.

The US Debt of 31.4 trillion will not be cut, in fact it will go up, and the US Congress will not deal with the issue till after the Presidential Election of 2024.  There will be caps on spending but not defence, that is god, no true Republican wants to cut defence spending and US veterans will be covered, that is the right thing to to do and its good politics, they vote, and tend to be Republicans.  Those on welfare and single will have to work to earn welfare, this might cause problems for the Liberals in Congress.  It will depend what is in the written bill. There will be no tax hikes on the wealthy or the middle class, that will make Republicans happy, liberals just like to tax for the sake of taxing and spend it on their base. The House will have 72 hours to read the bill and then vote, the House could cause problems, far right wingers and extreme liberals who do not like the bill, could unite to oppose it, the White House and the House Speaker might need to twist arms, but it should get through the House and Senate, no one wants to default.

This is a game the political parties play in the US System, depending on who is in the White House, the Administration puts out scare stories and this is carried by the media, the liberal CNN carries scare stories of what will happen should the US Congress not pass what the Administration wants, a clean debt ceiling rise, the World will fall apart, the US will fall apart if it does not deal with having a 32-33 trillion debt.  All Empires end either because they can not afford to be the World's policeman, as was the case with the British Empire after WW2, or in the Roman case, the coinage was devalued and there was mass immigration in to the Roman Empire.  The Republicans should call the Biden bluff, it will happen sooner or later, as some point the Bank Manager will make the call that  the US has to cut is budget, that means welfare but not defence as the US needs to counter China in Asia and the Russians in the Ukraine.  The Democrats spend like US taxes is their money, the fat lady will sing one day and it will all fall.

Hunter Biden is  a gift that keeps giving, if Mr Hunter Biden is charged it will place the President in a bad situation, does he allow his son to go to TRAIL, and being found guilty, that would force the President to PARDON HIS OWN SON  and sink his 2024 Campaign,  or does he ACT before, pardon his son and call it all political and then risk his fate in the hands of the voters in 2024.  The Republicans are going to enjoy this, if there are no charges, the will shout that the LAW protects Liberals but goes after Republicans, in many ways the Special Counsel has to bring charges or shouts of a Whitewash, the Biden poll numbers are in the toilet already, how bad can a PARDON BE, he might face a real challenge to the Democratic nomination, but it it late in the game.  This blog is only supporting Biden because of his support for the Ukraine, one has not forgotten Afghanistan and the threats form Russia, China, Iran, one hopes that there are no further crisis points, one doubts that Biden could handle more CRISIS POINTS, we shall  see over the next few months.

The Biden Campaign for 2024 need above like a hole in the shoe, the Biden Oval has delayed its intention to run 2024, while Trump and others are running for the Republican nomination.  If the Biden Oval does not know how the investigation of his son is going then its clueless  and should not run in 2024, if the President's son is charged with tax fraud, it really hurts the Biden Oval, will he Pardon his son if he tried and found guilty, will the LIBERAL media cover the story, it was on NBC last night.  It will be curious to see if the uber liberal CNN covers the story, they are still obsessed with the Fox News story, they hate Trump and Fox so much they have lost the plot. CNN in its heyday was great, it was the channel of choice for news, not anymore.

The Biden Budget is dead on the Hill even before it arrives, it will not pass the Republican House, and even a few Democrats Senators up for re-election will not vote for it, they like their cushy number to much and if Biden does win re - election, he will be gone after four years.   Thus President Biden should use his skills to sell the budget to the American people, the Republicans will call it a tax hike budget and a increase in welfare, the typical Democrat wish list for the base.  The increase in the defence budget should be an easy sell, the Russians, China, North Korea and Iran, they are all a threat to the US national security.  The question is does Biden have the ability to sell anything, the support for the Ukraine  has gone down over the last few months, the old enemy is on the march and the American people, well a small majority wants to allow them to win.  Let's face the Donkey in the room, Biden is no Reagan, do you trust Biden for another 4 years with the security of the West, if you do I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell to you.  If could be another re-match, Biden vs.  Trump, there is now way I will give up drinking if that is the case.
