He’s Back, Guess Who?

CNN: Bill Clinton is back to his favourite subject, yes himself, Obama so far has placed Reagan ahead of him in the Presidential stakes, and now the former President is stating that Obama wants to overlook the 1990s. Don’t we all. He’s back!!

New Polls - Dems

A look at the up coming voting in the Democratic Party. In latest average of polls from Wisconsin the RCP average of Polls has Obama ahead by 4.3%. The Clinton machine has run negative ads but seems to have placed Wisconsin in the Obama camp. In the Texas and Ohio we have the following results, the RCP average of Polls in Texas has Clinton ahead by 10.3%. It should be noted have seen one poll that has Obama ahead. On to Ohio and the RCP average of Polls has Clinton ahead by 17.3%. I would be very surprised if Clinton could keep these leads, if she does then she is back in the game, she has to win these two states and she has to win big. Still give the edge to Obama.

A Liberal Obama ?

Chicago Sun - Times: Robert Novak reports that the Clinton Machine wants to make a point of the fact that Obama is a Liberal and thus cant win a General Election. Thought the Democratic Party at its heart was Liberal.

The Truth from Liberals on McCain

Time: One of the best articles on the election process by Michael Kinsley, how Liberals like Senator McCain and how annoying for the Republicans to nominate a Candidate who has appeal beyond the base even Liberals like McCain. Must read of the day.

The Democratic Convention

New York Times: Reports on the role of Party Elders at the Democratic Convention and the role of Al Gore. What if neither candidate got a majority and Obama turned his delegates over to Gore. Gore – Obama ticket sounds good to Views, it would drive the Clintons up the wall.

MSNBC Delegate Count, Dems

MSNBC: Looks at the Pledge Delegates. Obama leads by one hundred and thirty one delegates over Clinton. NBC has the following tally:

Obama 1116

Clinton 985

If one takes away Super Delegates it’s a tough job for Hillary Clinton to catch up with Obama. Even with Super Delegates she is behind in some delegate counts. Hillary Clinton needs to win big in Ohio and Texas. Wisconsin and Hawaii are up on Tuesday, Wisconsin is closer in polls but as Hawaii is a home state for Obama he should win the state. It’s all down to March the 4th for Clinton.
