US shoots down Iranian drone - Update

CNN: Reports that a Iranian drone that was threatening the Abraham Lincoln aircraft Carrier was shot down by the US.

Lets Get Real:

Events like this have caused wars in the past, Gulf of Tolkien incident in 1964, the shooting down by accident of an Iranian passenger jet in the late 1980's, as the US Fleet was protecting tankers from Iranian attack.  The Iranian theocracy is lucky, any other President would have struck Iran, but Trump is a WIMP, he will let the threat go, as there are planned talks in Turkey between Iran and th US.  The MAGA base does not want the US to be the World's Policeman, that is why Trump is a major WIMP.

Ukraine ready to play ball over peace - NATO Secretary General

 Sky News: Reports in its 1.27pm post that the NATO Secretary General has stated thar the Ukraine is ready to play ball on a peace deal, even if the Russians won't.

Lets Get Real:

President Zelensky wants a deal, but Putin wants to win the War whatever the cost in lives.   It has been reported of late that Russian advance has been the slowest of any army in a hundred years.  Trump should allow the coalition of the willing to send troops NOW, force Putin to face NATO Troops in the Ukraine, that might shock him back in to reality of war, how many Russian soldiers have to die for his ego, and it is about ego when it comes to the Kremlin. It is time for the Ukraine to get some solid security guarantees from the US and Europe, this WAR has to end, but not with a Russian victory, that would lead to WW3 in the future.

Massive Ballistic strike on the Ukraine - Update

Lets Get Real:

This shows that Russia is not serious about peace, as the article notes the bombing started after midnight after a suppose short Truce as requested by POTUS.  The Russians want to turn the people against the Zelensky government in Kyiv, so far without much luck.   How much can the poor people of the Ukraine take, they are handy souls, but there are limits.  Trump 47 should sign the security guarantees for the Ukraine, this might push Putin to the Peace table, his KGB soul has no remorse!
