Obama and Clinton ?

CNN News: Reports that Hillary Clinton has gone to ground, this is interesting, as after she endorsed Obama, his polls went up, now that Clinton has gone under the Radar, his polls are going down somewhat, RCP average of Polls has Obama only leading McCain by 3.6%. If you take the margin for error and people lie then the race is even, so the question folks is Clinton playing a skilled poker game with Obama. As stated by the US media sources she wants the VP spot, Obama does not want her and Bill for 4/8 years. But if Obama can only win with Hillary Clinton he just might have to take her as his VP. Winning is always better than losing.

Thank God for the Irish

BBC News: Reports on the rejection by Ireland of the Lisbon Reform Treaty. Thank God for the Irish, they see the threat to Democracy from the EU. If in Ireland would buy them all a Guinness. Gordon Brown could use this to something popular, axe the Treaty, but no we hear from the Foreign Secretary that the UK will go on with the Treaty.

AGE

The Times: Looks at the dirty pool faced by McCain from the Democrats, the issue this time his Age. As stated this race looks a lot like the last season of the West Wing, it has similar argument between the Republican and Democratic Candidates. What is ironic about the age attack is the source, Senator Kerry stated that McCain was confused about the War in Iraq, Kerry has stated this had nothing to do with the age of Senator McCain. The source is ironic as in the 2004 Presidential Race Kerry wanted McCain to run as his VP. McCain turned Kerry down, if he had run Kerry might have just won, so one has to ask is this pay back time by Kerry, the Senator saw himself as another JFK, they share the same initials. As stated this is going to be a very long race.

John McCain Town Hall Event

A very good Town Hall meeting by John McCain. The Senator was tough on Foreign Policy but moderate and reforming when it came to domestic issues. The Senator was good in pointing out that Obama had not visit Iraq in years, Obama has to be careful that he does not throw away his lead that he has received since becoming the nominee, in the RCP average of polls has Obama leading by 4.3%, lets have a look at the latest individual polls, the Hotline poll shows a close race, Obama 44, McCain 42%, thus you have an even race, lets have a look at the National Tracking Polls, Gallup has Obama leading by McCain by 6%, Obama 48%, McCain 42%. The margin of six percent is followed in two other polls, Rasmussen has Obama leading by 6%, while NBC/WSJ polls also had this margin of 6%. The general view is that Obama will lead over the next few months before the Conventions, lets see, he wont get the rock star treatment as he has had in the fight with Hillary Clinton, lets be honest the Elite Media didn't like the Clintons, its not that easy when it comes to John McCain. Over the years, the Elite Media has stressed how they wish the Republicans would follow the lead of McCain, well McCain is now leading, the Republican nominee in the West Wing was based on McCain. Over the next few weeks watch the polls, its going to get a lot closer, think 1960, 1968, 1976, 2000, 2004. The Country is split, we have a long road before November.
