The Effect of Leaving Afghanistan - Guardian

Guardian: Article on the regional politics of Afghanistan pre 9/11, the balance of power struggle between the regional powers, India, Pakistan, Russia and Iran. The article states the following, " conditions in the subcontinent were much more unstable before the US invasion.........and will get worse if the US leaves with Afghanistan in limbo. " The question is how long can President Obama can keep his Liberal base in check, the extreme Liberal The New York Times has already started to increase the negative stories about Afghanistan, the election fraud the loss of soldiers; yes its following the Iraq game book; the Liberal power brokers in the House have started to popped their heads above the para pit to be critical of the Obama policy on Afghanistan. Lets be honest and direct here, Obama has about 12 - 18 months to turn Afghanistan around, not forty years or three years, if Afghanistan has turned in to another Vietnam the Liberals in Congress will have their own death panel on Afghanistan and pull the plug. Thus Obama cant take the less risky option on Afghanistan, he has to win, or he will be another LBJ. Read of the Day.

Liberals GET REAL over Afghanistan

CNN: Interesting Conservative take on Afghanistan, from the Liberal CNN, the article states the following, " Liberals love to build things, especially with other people's tax dollars. They just don't like the idea of U.S. troops doing the building.. " This article must have made a few liberal watchers of CNN lose their breakfast, but its a great article. The article is about the real world post 9/11, the USA and the West was attacked on 9/11 and then London on 7/7. As Appeasement before World War Two shows if you show weakness and Neville Chamberlain was the weakest PM up to that date, then a threat to your National Security will use that weakness against you, thus Munich and the selling out of the Czechs, are we to sell out Pakistan and Afghanistan so Liberals can sleep their fantasy world. H-ll No! President Obama should read this article while he is reading the review of US Strategy in Afghanistan. Read of the Day.

Not Going Home ?

Fox News: Reports that the Obama Administration has extended US Troop Tours in Afghanistan. This move shows the need for more troops in Afghanistan, this is President Obama's crunch time when it comes to Afghanistan, his decision on more troops and on the level of troops could decide if Afghanistan can be won. The Buzz seems that there are three options, low, middle or high, as mentioned it has been suggested that the US Military will ask for another forty five thousand troops for Afghanistan. If you going in to Afghanistan to win then you have to go all the way, President Obama should send in the troops, allow his new strategy to work, he has about a year before Liberals in Congress want to cut the money off for Afghanistan. Thus in Texas Hold Up terms Obama should go all in, the riskier move would be a low or middle option of about between ten and twenty thousand, what if its not enough, you end up sending the other twenty thousand, thus go all in and win. If the West in the shape of the USA, UK and NATO was to lose Afghanistan the effects could be dangerous for Pakistan and India, Pakistan might fall to the Taliban/Terrorists, thus conflict with India. The West would face more infamous dates like 9/11, and 7/7. Thus the West has to win in Afghanistan.
