The Western THREAT of heavy sanctions will not work on Putin, he has already stated that he wants to meet Biden again and that he wants a LEGAL TREATY that prevents the Ukraine coming part of NATO, he thinks that Biden is a pushover, a weak man and President. The Biden Oval has to show that Biden is tough and will stand up to Putin, stare down the Russian Bear, the WEAKNESS that Biden showed over Afghanistan has come back to haunt him, IF terrorists can kick the American Army out of Afghanistan, what can Russia do about Biden and NATO and the perception in the Kremlin that it wants the OLD USSR back or something close to that idea. Thus we come down who blinks first, to quote a famous line from the Cuban Missile Crisis, will Biden SELL out the Ukraine, aka Chamberlain the Czechs in 1938, or will stand tall like Reagan who LOST 241 US Military Personnel in a terrorist bombing in Lebanon in 1983 and then invade Grenada to remove a Communist Government linked to Cuba.
