This blog is not a US election lawyer, but the taped conversation of POTUS placing pressure on a Georgian official to find VOTES is crossing some US law, either State or Federal, the Republicans on the Hill seem to have been captured by Trump, the Party has to think about the 2022 Mid Term Elections and then 2024 Presidential run. The Republican BRAND is being damaged, God knows what the Gipper would say about this latest move by Trump, but then Reagan won by 44 States in 1980 and 49 States in 1984. Trump is acting like a old Chicago politician, thinking that he can over turn a Presidential election.
