The workers who support are the return of the Reagan Democrats, people who work by their hands and live pay check to pay check.  This is why VP Harris had pandered her recent CNN Town Hall, she stated she would increase the minimum wage to $15 dollars an hour.  These workers tend to be more conservative than the Democratic Party, thus open to Trump's wild and crazy speeches.   Thus the Harris has two weeks to get her message through, she has gone extreme, she has called Trump a Fascist, in this she was supported by President Biden, POTUS stated he wanted to lock up Trump, he caught himself and stated he wanted to lock out Trump from the political process.  The Presidential race will get more dirty, this is not shinning city on the of Reagan's time.

This shows how out of date POTUS is, the American election process has become part reality show since the 1960 election, JFK was better on  TV than Nixon, thus the Camelot years, even if it was all PR.   It was conformed by the elections since 1980, the candidates good on TV won, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, Obama, Trump, the exception you can argue was 2020, and Biden was hiding in his Delaware Bunker and the press covered for him, they hated Trump.   This blow does not like Trump but does not hate him, there is a difference.   The 1st Trump and Biden debate was a disaster for Biden, thus 12 days later we are still stalking about it, the process is like Chinese water torture, we watch to see if Biden makes a mistake, he did during the NATO Summit, he called the President of the Ukraine, President Putin and called his own Vice President, VP Trump.  The rally speech was okay, POTUS did mumble a  few times, but he had a teleprompter, he has NBC interview set for Monday, that will be another test, Trump must be laughing his backside off, the Republican Convention starts on Monday, one does hope the Democratic mess comes to end, one way or another!!

Thus the President and the the presumed Republican Nominee are both gaga, Biden with the above and Trump when he called Governor Haley, Nancy Pelosi by mistake.  There really should be an age limit to running for the Oval Office, 70 is the max, Reagan would  have been safe, he was 69 when he came President.   Out of a population  330 million, the US cannot find anyone younger.  This is a time for a third Party candidate, any one really that is young and full vigour, and can run in hard campaign for the Presidency in 2024. God Help the US.

Poor CNN is trying to thwart Trump, its pity that their ratings are in the toilet, the Republican contest is down to Iowa and New Hampshire, the general view is a challenger to Trump will come in either State.  This far this blog thinks it will be Trump who will be the nominee, it seems that the American people would rather a crooked candidate, e.g Trump as the next President, rather than gaga Biden.  The liberal media can try to influence the outcome, how many times as the former Governor of N.J been on CNN, the Republican voters do not like him, he is seen as the House Republican for CNN, who says what they want to hear.  President Biden must win as to keep supporting the Ukraine, US and Western security is at stake.  In way this is 1930s all over again.   The 2024 election is as important as 1980s, when Reagan won and lead to the end of the Cold War and the downfall of the USSR.

It was  a rowdy affair, the Republicans came with attacks lines, while POTUS pandered to the left wing base of the Democratic Party.  Let's be real, POTUS is running for a 2nd term, the problem is that the US voters see him as to OLD and not a GREAT President, the were a few lines on China and Russia, in attempt to appeal to moderate Republicans and moderates in the middle. The Biden Oval should have stressed that more, the support for the Ukraine WAR is down, the Biden Oval should be attacking Russia ever day, show the security of Ukraine is in fact the security of Western Europe and the US.   The House Republicans did not do themselves any good, a President should be listened too, with some respect, the Republicans showed no respect, even the Speaker could not get them to show some respect.   The State of the Union is the kick off for 2024, the only shock would be if Biden decided not run, since that is not going to happen the US voter could face their WORST nightmare, another matchup between Biden and Trump, and Trump is leading in some of those polls.  One does wish sometimes that the UK had vote, no that would have been mistake, we would have gotten another Jimmy Carter term or worst his VP, Walter Mondale, who thinks the Cold War would have ended with them, it would still be going on.

Thus the Sunak Campaign is in TROUBLE, although his campaign Sunak has refused to agree to tax cuts, only when inflation is down, well one must assume that the Sunak Campaign has read the POLLS, the public ones and the internal ones and worked out, that Sunak is political toast if he does not move on the issue.   One does recall Lady Thatcher's famous remark at a Conservative Party Conference, when she was under pressure due to her policies, she said this Lady is not for turning, Sunak has shown that he is WEAK, what will he do when faced with strikes on the railways, NHS and other public sectors, will he agree to wages to match inflation, thus making inflation worse.  The Truss Campaign should ram this MAJOR U -TURN down the throat of the Sunak Campaign, it should be noted that the former Chancellor will face Andrew Neil on Friday, one can expect a very tough interview, it seems that Truss was right to refuse the interview request, why go in to a political minefield if you do not have too.

This is Tehran slow marching the process, they will agree to deal and then go back on them or want to change them, the Tehran Government has agreed with the IAEA for cameras to be replaced at their nuclear facilities but are blocking the pictures being sent to the IAEA, the Tehran Government wants to get in to the weeds, divert the West, while it carries on making nuclear material, Biden already has a crisis brewing in the Ukraine with Russia, and longer term problem with China over Taiwan, the Iran Regime it can be postulated think that Biden is WEAK and thus will appease them, the real threat to this deception is Israel, if the Israeli Intelligence network, the MOSSAD, gets wind that Iran is close or already has the nuclear material for the BOMB, they will attack, as stated by this blog they have form on this, with IRAQ in 1981 and Syria in 2007.  Also Biden after Afghanistan and the tensions with Russia, might want to show that he will ACT, and Iran would be perfect example to Russia and China that when the bell tolls Biden will give the ORDER. One doubts that POTUS put Putin in his place, all he has shown is that he is an appeaser in the shape of Neville Chamberlain, the British PM for APPEASEMENT in the late 1930s.  The real question is will Putin think he know has to do something or look weak to the people of Russia, if he cannot get concessions from Biden when it comes to the Ukraine and NATO countries close to the Russia border he might think he has to ACT.  On the other hand Biden has made it clear that he will SEND defence equipment to the Ukraine, the question can the Russian Forces take the Ukraine without a lot of body bags that the Russian leader cannot hide.  The Ukraine people will put up a fight, it could get bloody and as the WAR on goes the US voter will be pushing for Biden to defend the Ukraine, he can not afford another Afghanistan, WEAK Presidents do not get re - elected, aka Jimmy Carter in 1980, who faced the Iran hostage crisis and the invasion of Afghanistan by the Russians.   It has been reported that the Russians soldiers have been told they will have to be on  DUTY during Christmas, and will get the NEW YEAR OFF, thus Putin might be playing games, he might invade on Christmas Day!  That would really ruin the Biden Christmas.  One gets the impression that Putin is playing CHESS, while Biden is playing SNAP and the game has to be taught to him.

The above is really what Iran wants, the removal of sanctions and for the US and Israel to surrender, they will TELL the Western Diplomats in Vienna what they want to hear so they can agree to appease Iran over its nuclear ambitions.  The Tehran Regime wants the Biden Oval to remove ALL the Trump sanctions, the Biden Oval wants Iran to return to the Obama nuclear agreement before lifting the sanctions, as Iran has shown by refusing to allow the IAEA to attach new cameras to its nuclear facilities, they will stall, agree and then carry on at secret sites to produce nuclear material that allows them to get a nuclear bomb.  One hopes the US State Department and the Biden Oval as not fooled by this, one has doubts, as shown by Afghanistan Biden has no backbone, his mantra is to appease, endless talks while the other side does what it wants.  A weak President does not get re-elected, just look at LBJ after the Tet offensive, he withdrew from re-election and Jimmy Carter lost to Reagan due to a bad economy and weak leadership over Iran.

If this is true, then the Biden Oval has a problem on its hands, could the Taliban wanting an exchange, American Citizens for the frozen assets of the previous Government, ,the Americans are on planes at Mazar-e-Sharif airport, why hold the planes if not to get something back.  One will be interesting to see how the liberal media that got Biden in to OFFICE, deal with issue if it is a real issue.  The American voter will not take kindly to another hostage crisis, for some the Carter Presidency was a disaster that only finished when Reagan won the election in 1980. Interesting few days ahead.

The US/UK control if the new Taliban terror regime gets any of the former Afghan's governments assets that have been frozen since KABUL fell to the Taliban. The West wants the Taliban to allow US/UK and Western passport holders to fly from the Kabul Airport, but they also want Afghan Allies of the West to be allowed to leave.  If the Taliban were really stupid they could take American hostages, if your old enough you remember the Iran hostage crisis, from 1979 to 1981, in that event the Islamic Students under the ORDERS of the new hard line Islamic regime in Tehran, IRAN took 52 US diplomatic hostages, and that lasted in till 1981and the Inauguration of Ronald Reagan, in those years the Carter Administration did a deal to un - freeze the Assets of the previous regime as the part of the deal for the return of their hostages.  The hostage crisis lead to the defeat of Jimmy Carter in 1980.  Even terrorists one thinks would work out that would be a BIG MISTAKE, Biden would be forced to take action against them, even invade again!! One can see a back room deal, the Taliban allow Western passport holders and Afghan Allies to leave and in return they get the assets of the former regime.  Of course thus does not even cover the civil rights of girls and women to go to school and to work, will that also be a condition of any un - freezing of assets, so far the Biden Administration has not shown enough that it cares, Biden wants to move to the domestic front and the Mid Terms in 2022 and then the general election in 2024.  The Biden OVAL must hope that the American voter will not care about Afghanistan after a few years and the domestic Spending by the Biden and the Democratic Congress will get them over the line when it comes to votes.

POTUS thinks that the TALIBAN will allow Americans to leave Afghanistan after the 31st, how out of it do you have to be, the TALIBAN read history, they would know that  they have to just keep a few hostages, let's say 52 to make the 24/7 news cycle every day.   The Taliban might have the same interest as Biden in the Americans and their allies getting out, but with the threat form ISIS-K they might have to show their true face, thus they will not care about financial pressure from the West, most of the foot terrorists can not even read.  Also there are different sections of the Taliban, those that have been having talks with the US might have gotten used to nice hotels and being in meeting with the West and the UN.  While the foot terrorists might want to take Afghanistan back to the stone age, thus a thousand US hostages might look good.  They will KNOW that Biden will never send in the military back in to Afghanistan, also Afghanistan is a big place to hide hostages, the Taliban might demand the unlocking of frozen Afghanistan assets a price to release some of the hostages, this could go on for years, just ask Jimmy Carter about Iran.  Also if Biden is to quote the bible, I will watch TV's West Wing, that President does it better and with more conviction.  Also Biden was very low energy, can he really handle a crisis.  At the least the UK will be out in a few days, our soldiers have to be on guard.  Our thoughts are with the families of those 12 US servicemen who were killed by the ISIS-K terrorist and those innocent Afghans killed or injured by the terrorist attack.

The last thing that POTUS can afford is to leave American citizens in Afghanistan controlled by the TALIBAN, the Americans could become hostages if the Taliban start to return to form, they could demand that the West gives the financial support before they allow Americans to leave.  It would make the Iran hostage crisis look like happy hour at the pub.  The Democrats with long memories will recall how the Iran hostage crisis defined the Carter Administration from 1979 to 1981.  The Democrats will be worried that there could be US hostages in Afghanistan at the time of the Mid Terms in 2022.  Let's be frank, in pure political terms, its getting the Americans out, and some of the Afghans, they are less important to the Biden Oval, he either sends in more troops to the airport or does a runner in a few days.

The Biden campaign should use Ronald Reagan as an example, the happy warrior, Biden should not allow himself to get dragged in to fights with POTUS, he is NO BARACK OBAMA, the former VP has a foot in mouth problem.   The left elite are afraid of this and thus recent attempts to get Biden to say NO to the Presidential Debates, the left is afraid that Trump will eat him alive, they have a valid concern.   The Biden Campaign should stress positive aspects about the candidate and his campaign.   The Candidate should send a message of bringing people together and no more appeasing Moscow and remaking the agreement with Iran.   Biden has to be careful he does not lose this race before it has began.

POTUS will break any rules to get a better poll numbers, let's recall that Jimmy Carter gave a convention speech in 1980 but then did the Rose Garden strategy when fighting Ronald Reagan for a 2nd term.  Those that decry Trump by saying its political are two faced, EVERYTHING in D.C is political, as when Carter did his campaign from the Rose Garden, giving the impression that affairs of state were to important to leave for a campaign, that did not work, Reagan won 44 States and become the 40th President.  Trump might think it would better to have a foreign policy crisis, do not be surprised if a conflict breaks out between the US and Iran, the bombing of Tehran might go down well the US voter.  There are many tricks that Trump can pull, its not over till the Fat Lady sings.   The Tehran Regime would be advised to keep quiet and not give Trump a REASON to bomb Iran.   They will get a better break from a future Biden Administration.

Has POTUS finally smelled the coffee, that the fat lady is singing that he will be a one term President, or that he has seen his polls go down the toilet.   At least for the last couple of months of his Presidency he can act with some dignity and save American lives by stressing the importance that Americans wear a mask and refrain from going to bars or gigs.   One cannot see how Trump will come back, he is in Jimmy Carter territory when it comes to the polls, also any vaccine will come to late to save Trump in election terms, thus we face a President Biden ( either is bad, but at least Biden understands the need for some dignity )  The next issue for Biden is who will be his VP, it should not be a harsh left winger, that would give Trump a chance, but then only Democrats can blow a win, look at HRC in 2016.

It can be postulated that Speaker Pelosi is the least favourite person in the Sanders camp at the moment, the Senate Impeachment Trial starts this week and Senators Sanders will be off the campaign for weeks, right smack in the Iowa and NH elections.  The US Senators did not have the balls to tell Pelosi to get a move on, thus they are stuck in D.C, this will open the field for Biden and Mayor Pete, they should spend every hour of every day in Iowa and NH, their faces should drive the poor voters mad, that is the way to win in these States, they have seen the greats before, they all come to NH to either kickstart their campaign or save their campaign, even Reagan after not entering IOWA in 1980 had to stop Bush 41 in NH, the rest is history.  Bill Clinton was saved his campaign in 1992 and become the nominee.  This is the time for Biden and Mayor Pete to show they the gifts in this open field to take the PRIZE and end Sanders and Warren while they sulk in D.C.  Politics is a ruthless business.
