The French in Mali - Terror War

Guardian: Reports on the French military in Mali, Africa, " ..hundreds of French troops and aircraft had been involved in fighting at three locations in the centre of Mali, including against an Islamist command centre. ".

Lets Get Real: 

It can be argued that the French are using the wrong strategy, the fighting like is more suited to Special Forces, and in this case it would be better if the French asked the US and the UK who after Iraq and Afghanistan now a thing about fighting Islamic terrorists.   After the French Vietnam failure one would think that the French Government would be very wary of taking on another force on its home ground.    Thus lets see how long before the French ask for NATO help, it would not be the first time the French have needed to be saved, WW1, WW2, but after Iraq lets make sure that the French pay, if it needs UK and US Special Forces lets make it clear to the French that they own us big time, the French never get that point folks, without the UK and US they would be singing God Save the Kaiser or Hitler. 

France faces Terrorist THREAT - Terror

BBC News: Reports that President Hollande has increased security around French public building after military operations in Africa lead to French military deaths in attempt to thwart Islamic threats in the region. 

Lets Get Real: 

Lets recall what the failure of the military mission to rescue the US hostages in Iran did to the Carter Presidency, it lead to its demise in 1980, also after a military failure in Somalia early in the Clinton Presidency this made Clinton less than ready to take military action in Bosnia, thus these deaths could have the following effect on the the new French Government, it could be afraid to take risks, or on the other hand it could learn the lesson that President Obama learned, you can not afford for your Western liberal view of the world to effect your actions in national security, thus Obama has increased the drone strikes of the Bush Era, and has increased its scope.   The drone strikes has come under critical attack from the left in the US and from Europe, lets see how the French react, will they run away, not new for the French or stand with the US and UK in taking down the terrorist threat from Islamic terrorists. 

When your beloved Dog dies

Today folks I lost my beloved dog Lucky, it feels like losing part of the family, your turn around and you think you see him, his smells and his toys bring back happy memories of playing with him, or him wanting you to play with him.    The house feels so quiet, he is no longer behind you looking for food, even after being feed, as he got older you I carried him around lot, putting him in his favourite chair so he could sleep.  The hardest part will be waking in the morning, and he not there, looking for his fav food, he almost had us trained as when he liked to go to bed and what time he liked to get up.   I think the hardest part will be passing his favourite walking spots, recalling how he liked to put his cold nose in to the grass,  how he liked to smell the grass at the same spot for hours if he could.   Even thought the Vet put him down a few hours ago, it seems like a different world, for those non dog owners it might sound bit dramatic, well if you get a dog you will understand.   The place is so darn quiet, Oh Lucky I will miss you, more that I will ever admit. RIP LUCKY. 

Talking to the Taliban - Vietnam Again!!

Telegraph: Reports the following agreement by the US and Afghan Governments, the article notes the following, " ..agreement from the US to set up a Taliban office in the Qatari capital, Doha, to facilitate possible peace negotiations with Taliban. ".

Lets Get Real: 

This is a mistake folks, the US Government from LBJ to President Ford talked to North Vietnam about the the Vietcong War in Southern Vietnam, the US even signed a peace agreement with the North in 1973, the US got out and in 1975 the Northern Vietnam forces took over the South.   The Taliban will see this move as weakness, they will see that the Oval really wants out of Afghanistan, so why deal, they can out wait the Obama Oval, just carry on the attacks and have massive type Tet attacks so it gets on the US news.  Once NATO leaves it is just a matter of time before Afghanistan falls in to Civil War and the Taliban use the NATO withdrawal as PR to show they WON and threw out the Western forces.    Folks history has a very nasty way of repeating itself, this is just another example.   So many Western deaths for nothing, for nothing. 

Next Phase in Afghanistan

Guardian: Reports on the next phase of the War in Afghanistan, the article notes the following on the troop level after major Western operations end, " No agreement was reached on the precise number, with estimates ranging from between 3,000 to 9,000. ".

Lets Get Real:

If the US and UK are going to do something stupid like leaving forces in Afghanistan then make sure the can defend their positions, or the Taliban and its allies will mount Tet type attacks just to make the news back in the US and the UK.    The New US Secretary of State, Senator Kerry is a Vietnam Vet and anti War protester, thus lets hope he can make sure  that the forces can protect itself, he does not need constant bad news from Kabul over the next two years.    The agreement to keep forces is due to the fact that this agreement was done by the Oval, it got a lot of heat when it left the Iraq withdrawal to VP Biden, of course Biden could not get a security agreement, thus after US and UK deaths in the Iraq War the powers had to get out, thus Iran could supply the Assad Regime in Syria, major mistake by Biden and the Oval.   This blog gives Afghanistan a year before another civil war develops and the Taliban are back in charge in Kabul and the secular Government in Pakistan comes under threat from the Pakistan Taliban.   The West could be back folks in Afghanistan, sooner than you think folks. 

The US and Karzai EXIT Afghanistan

BBC News: Reports that President Obama has announced that the US will end military actin in Afghanistan this year, early than expected, and that President Karzai of Afghanistan will be stepping down in 2014. 

Lets Get Real:

The Oval wants out of Afghanistan, in this in some respect the Oval has a point, there is talk of leaving a US military presence in Afghanistan to search out and kill terrorist suspects, this would be a mistake, a small force would be a target for the Taliban and their terrorists allies, there is a history of powers leaving forces in Afghanistan, the record is not good, just more deaths, thus US and UK should get out, and lease a military base from the Pakistan Government and place UK and US Special Forces on standby to take out suspected terrorists threats that might arise in Afghanistan when the NATO forces leave.   The reason that President Karzai is going is simple, he is clever, he knows Afghan history, once the West is out the Taliban will try to take over Kabul or other major areas in Afghanistan, the Kabul Regime will be living on borrowed time.   Thus Karzai will be on the last US helicopter out of Afghanistan if he has any sense.    At the end of the day the deaths of Western forces in Afghanistan will be for nothing, the Afghan Taliban will be back, so will be their terrorists allies, they will support the Taliban in Pakistan, and thus folks down the road we will have another crisis.   Things change in the badlands of the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, but at its core its a death zone for major powers, the British, the Russians and now NATO.

Folks this humble blogger is single thus given his great age can no longer dance to ABBA on the dance floor and get away with it,  if your DNA makes you look like younger brother of Shrek minus being green what to do?  That is the question that men have been asking since they started to lose their hair.   In the present culture you are left with dating sites, but my male colleagues there is a problem, women on these sites are following a time old path of wanting you to look like a movie or sport star, well folks when your in the your 40s and male, and the hair is going or is about to go, that is not an option, hair transplant I hear the women who read this shout, YES but that costs some money, MEN on the whole, real mean do not look like male models.    Thus if we have to discard single dating sites, and it cost this blogger a tidy sum to learn that its not worth it, thus we are left with married dating sites, the most well known, or is that infamous is illicit encounters, yes folks lets leave morality out of this debate, once your cross that door you lose the moral high ground, even to JFK or Bill Clinton, on the whole the married ladies on it are quite nice, some as even fantastic and single, but then we have the married women, they are worse than their single colleagues, most of the ladies are in the their late 30s/40s. but somehow expect the male in the affair to be a move star or walking example of the gym, do these ladies think that those kind of men really need a married dating site.   Thus my question ARE WOMEN CRAZY? you can have a nice chat even romantic, yes folks what your thinking but for this blog in the general terms, then out of left field, no I am not blaming liberals ( this time ) they lose it, no warning, no indication, and you find that you and all MEN are something they have found at the bottom of their heels.   THUS WHAT IN THE HELL DO WOMEN WANT, they want the closeness of an affair but they expect a something that is not going to happen, call it love, or you going to announce that you are IN LOVE with them,  YES folks that can happen.   Thus folks my limited research, shows that women what it ALL as they have been told they can have it ALL, thus in this case married women want the great affair but also some Knight in shinning Armour who is not their husband.  In other words folks, the culture at the later half of the 20th Century has sold women a CON, and men have to suffer the wrath of women who lose the plot without the slightest reason, thus WOMEN are CRAZY but this blog would not change them, Women prove that there is a God.
