The New York Times: Reports that the Governor of Texas, Governor Rick Perry has sent the message out that he is running in 2012. This blog gut has the same feeling about Perry that it had in the early days about Obama, the main stream media could be looking at the next President of the United States. Governor Perry has something of that Reagan style about him, also a Conservative, Texas has prospered while the US has gone down the drain. One should not bet again Perry, the front runner Governor Romney should worry, this is just the type of candidate the Republican Party can fall in love with, is Perry the 2nd Reagan?.

Is Perry the next President ?
The New York Times: Reports that the Governor of Texas, Governor Rick Perry has sent the message out that he is running in 2012. This blog gut has the same feeling about Perry that it had in the early days about Obama, the main stream media could be looking at the next President of the United States. Governor Perry has something of that Reagan style about him, also a Conservative, Texas has prospered while the US has gone down the drain. Cameron on the UK Riots
No 10: Full PM Statement: PM David Cameron has stated the following on the UK riots, “.. Let me, first of all, completely condemn the scenes that we have seen on our television screens and people have witnessed in their communities. These are sickening scenes – scenes of people looting, vandalising, thieving, robbing, scenes of people attacking police officers and even attacking fire crews as they’re trying to put out fires. This is criminality pure and simple and it has to be confronted and defeated. I feel huge sympathy for the families who’ve suffered, innocent people who’ve been burned out of their houses and to businesses who have seen their premises smashed, their products looted and their livelihoods potentially ruined. I also feel for all those who live in fear because of these appalling scenes that we’ve seen on the streets of our country. People should be in no doubt that we are on the side of the law abiding, law abiding people who are appalled by what has happened in their own communities….The Metropolitan Police Commissioner has said that compared with the 6,000 police on the streets last night in London there will be some 16,000 officers tonight. All leave within the Metropolitan Police has been cancelled. There will be aid coming from police forces up and down the country and we will do everything necessary to strengthen and assist those police forces that are meeting this disorder. There have already been 450 people arrested. We will make sure that court procedures and processes are speeded up and people should expect to see more, many more arrests in the days to come. I am determined, the government is determined that justice will be done and these people will see the consequences of their actions. And I have this very clear message to those people who are responsible for this wrongdoing and criminality: you will feel the full force of the law and if you are old enough to commit these crimes you are old enough to face the punishment. And to these people I would say this: you are not only wrecking the lives of others, you’re not only wrecking your own communities; you are potentially wrecking your own life too….”. This is a good start by PM Cameron, he has to keep pressure on the Police to be more Gene Hunt not Sam Tayler. This is not the time for PC Police work, its about the Police getting stuck in, keeping the Streets safe and clearing the streets of lawless scum.
Cameron, Osborne = House of Commons
Guardian: Reports that after the PM David Cameron makes a statement on the UK riots, the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne will discuss the economic crisis. In some respects this is a pointless statement by Osborne, the UK is not in the Euro, thus the debt mountains of Italy and Spain does not directly affect the UK, of course our banks have Spanish and Italian debts thus if they go down they take the EU with them, also the downgrade of the US credit rating is not something the UK can effect, also lets recall the UK still has its AAA rating from S&P. The UK growth figures are expected to be downgraded by the Bank of England, well folks the crisis left behind by Gordon Brown was not going to be solved in a year, also the austerity package of the Coalition Government is going to take time, its going to be tough out there folks, hard and tough for people. Its not quite the 1930s folks, but in its own way its that bad, people just have to get used to that simple fact.

UK Parliament Recalled and the London RIOTS
Telegraph: Reports on the statement by the UK Coalition PM David Cameron that the House of Commons has been recalled from recess for Thursday to discuss the riots. This is the time for David Cameron to show the steel in his soul, he has to outdo Lady Thatcher and come down hard on these rioting scum, if the extra police cant deal with the mob then the Army armed has to take control of the Streets. These riots have nothing to do with the economic policies of the Government, its just common criminals nicking TV’s, phones, etc, Cameron has to come down hard and fast, no more riots in the Capital City of the UK.
Markets UP
BBC News: Reports a upswing in the stock markets of the US and the UK, the FTSE is up 41.38 and the Dow Jones is up 180.43 at 4pm UK time. Also the costs to Italy and Spain of borrowing has gone down, thanks the European Central Bank. Thus is the crisis over folks, GOD NO, this is a breather, the ECB cant buy Italian and Spanish bonds till the end of the time, these countries have to short out their debt. This means tough austerity measures, the kind of measures that has riots on the streets, yes just like Greece folks. The UK London riots has nothing to do with the economic polices of the Coalition folks, its just individuals chancing their arm, breaking the law, looters are just criminals. In the US it can be argued that that the market has hit bottom, thus good time to buy if you had the money, lets see how long it lasts. But on the whole a good day on the markets folks.
48% Disapproval for Obama = Gallup
Gallup: Reports on its latest daily tracking poll on the job approval for President Obama, today POTUS has a 43% Approval rating, while 48% of Average voters disapprove of the job performance of President Obama. If you think about it folks its not that bad, it the numbers could be a lot worse, if these were the numbers in November 2012 then POTUS would be toast, but there a is year and a half to go folks. The US credit rating downgrade, the massive falls in Wall Street, the recent losses in Afghanistan should have hurt Obama more, but POTUS is still in the game, its long game folks.
