The Election that Labour Lost - Corbyn Mania

The Labour Party is in a World of hurt, it can process the fact that it lost the last election big time, in fact it lost Seats from 2010, and during that time the Miliband team had moved Labour to centre left, the election of Jeremy Corbyn has moved the Labour Party off the cliff and in to haze that it might never return from, the article notes that the election of Corbyn is seen as more important, that shows how out of touch the Labour Party is, the UK voter when given a choice between  a left or right Party, chose the Conservative Party, they want to keep their own money, they want to pass that money to their children or grand children, they want a small State and they want the Unions under firm control.   The Labour Party faces being out of power for a generation, in that time good MP's will see their careers go down in flames and become ashes, they should recall those young Labour MPs's in 1979 who thought they would be back in power in a few years, they had to wait seventeen and a half years.   Thus one can expect those with ambition to move to other Parties, why become trench fodder for a Leader you do not support or even like, the Liberal Democrats or even Conservatives might get some defections. 

Labour and Syria - Syrian Crisis

Lets Get Real:

This time PM David Cameron has to win a vote on Syria, thus he will not go to the House of Commons in less he sure that he can get it through his own Party and with the support of Labour MPs.   The policy should be simple, air strikes on Daesh in Syria, but no US or UK ground troops for Syria, let the Russians have the body bags, also there needs an understanding that Assad can not be a long term part of the peace process, he must go in to exile, Moscow in winter is nice.   IF Russia and the US can get  deal on Syria it might open channels to back channel talks on a better relationship, as long as Russia does not teach those East Ukraine rebels how to create a dirty bomb, that would cause a serious problem in the 2nd Cold War.   Thus we wait to see if Obama and Putin can cut a deal, that benefits both.

The speech by the Shadow Chancellor was happy hour for the extreme left of the Labour Party, as stated in previous blog; if Labour wants a happy hour, hire a hooker, do not push your ideals on to voters that have rejected it, as in the  recent general election.   The BBC seems to be going out of its way to give the impression that Corbyn and Co are normal, they are from the extreme left, the majority of Labour MP's do not support them, and if they could throw them off a cliff they would do so in a minute.   Thus Labour is caught up in its own bubble, it thinks what it needs to keep its new supporters happy, news to these idiots, the young never vote on mass, in the 2015 general election this voter saw a lot of older voters voting, thus its £1 bet that the Conservatives would be the largest Party, even this blog did not see that the Conservatives would have a majority.   Thus its fun seeing a Political Party go over a cliff and not needing to be pushed. 

The Problem of Syria - Syrian Crisis

Lets Get Real:

The Russians main interest in keeping their warm water port in the Middle East, there secondary aim is to keep Assad in power, while the West has stepped back from wanting Assad to leave forthwith, they see him as a part of a prcess towards a peace deal.   The US and Russia need an official deal that allows them to fight Daesh, on background they could agree that Assad can be part of the peace talks but in the long term he has to go to Moscow to live.    The threat of Daesh is ever growing, they have to be removed before they create their own Country in the ashes of Syria and Iraq, the Russians should do the ground fighting, they do not fight according to the rules of War, in other words the ends do justify the means when it comes to Syria.   Lets hope the powers have not forgotten the deal of back channel deals.

This was a great 2nd partner, there was Missy with her human companion Clara trying to save the Doctor, if I fancy Missy/Master do I need more therapy!!  There was great dark humour as Missy wound up Clara, calling her puppy and throwing her down holes in the ground for starters.   The Doctor had his own human problem, Davros must be human in way.  The episode was double header between the Doctor and Davros, the Doctor showed his heroic and mercy in wanting to allow Davros to see the Sun come up.  THAT was mistake, its spoiler to tell how!   It was  trick by Davros, but even then the Doctor showed he is always a HERO by saving the young Davros, would we save people we hated?  That is the quality of mercy.

" Red " Jeremy Corbyn has shown that he is on the extreme left when it comes to politics, in fact lets be honest, he is a red nut, he might have a big majority, so did Alan B'stad ( New Statesman ) at least Alan was better dressed and was funny, more than can be said for Red Jeremy ( another public school boy ).   Those Labour MP's that want to see Labour have a chance in 2020 really need to be planning to get rid of RED Jeremy by the new year, the Labour Party conference this week should be fun, like the old Labour Party conferences of the 1970s and 80s, full of division and argument, with the Unions having to much power.  It has been reported that Corbyn will try to get Conference to vote against Trident, if this happens then Labour can kiss goodbye to an election victory for a generation. It is interesting to see a political party commit political suicide.

This is the problem now faced by left wing Parties in the UK, when Labour was New Labour these Parties could promise left wing polices that did not get challenge from Labour, now that Labour has gone back to being old Labour, these left wing Parties such as the Greens and the SNP, want to form an alliance, the problem is that the majority of the PLP is on the right even moderate, whille " Red " Jeremy is on the extrme left wing, so his Chancellor.   Thus while Labour makes itself happy; it would be cheaper and more logical to hire a high class escort for the same effect; the real politics of the centre ground is being run by the Conservative Party.   One wonders how long the Labour Party will be asleep at the wheel, when it will go grow up, when it losses the 2025 Election? 

The LEFT Wing POLICY of " Jeremy Corbyn " - Foreign Policy

The divisons with Labour over Foreign Policy could force the Blair forces to move against " Red " Jeremy Corbyn early than expected, those on the right of the Party, support NATO, are willing to strike Syria, and are opposed to Russian moves in Eastern Ukraine.   Then there is the issue of the EU, it can be argued that Corby is hardly pro EU, that is his only good point.   If Corbyn through the Labour Party Conference moves the Labour Party to the left it would mean that the right of Labour would have to make a choice, do they wait as they waited to get rid of Gordon Brown and Ed Millband and thus lost two general elections or do they before the electionns next year, the Blair group if they want to give the Labour Party a chance in 2020 need to move early and with a ruthlness that you expect from the Conservatives.

The Labour Party HAS fallen of a cliff, its got caught up in its own bubble.   The extreme left has no understanding of the UK voter, it can be argued that the Labour Party has no understanding of its lost voters in Scotland.   The right wing of the Labour Party in the House of Commons, must get rid of Corbyn by the new year, otherwise they can kiss the 2020/25 elections goodbye.   The mistake that Tony Blair did was to allow for the succession of Gordon Brown, he had not built someone up to make it a fight.     The Labour Party under Brown moved to the left, thus the loss of two general elections.   At this rate the Conservatives will have a generation in power.

If the Labour Party conference passes a resolution to dump Trident then it can be argued that the Labour Party is finished a political force, the UK voter will not vote for a Party that wants to scrap our defence and supports no limits on welfare.    The Blair wing of the Labour Party must be in state of shock, how did the Party that won three elections go down the toilet.  It is easy to blame Tony Blair and Iraq, but if you read the Alastair Campbell Diaries there is a concern that the Blair government was losing the heartland of Labour.     Thus with the loss of Scotland to the SNP, the Labour Party must make sure it keeps Wales, if they lose South Wales its over for the Labour Party.   The Labour Party Conference will be interesting, how far left will it go, and what will the Blair wing of the Party do to reverse these mistakes.

Thus another LEFT wing POLICY from Jeremy Corbyn, the voters want a welfare cap and here we have Corbyn thinking his policy is better than what voters want.   Labour MPs have to get rid of Corbyn or Party will never again gain power.    The Welfare State is to big, you need help those in work, not the idle or those young who have never worked.    The Labour Party is going back to the 1980s, in that period they lost two general elections, 1983 and 1987.   The Party has to learn to LOVE Tony Blair again, otherwise they are finished.

More hot air from the Donald, Fox News has been fair and balanced with Trump, and all they get is trash talk back, the Donald is very think skinned, he wants to be liked and loved, he no Ronald Reagan.   In many respects he like LBJ, another politico who need to feel loved by the voters.   Lets recall that ended up with Vietnam.    One doubts that the Donald will exile himself long from Fox, they are both good for each other, one gets ratings, and the other gets to Republican voters.   One would wish the Donald would grow up!

Dr Ben Carson has shown that he is unfit to be President of the United States, his view that there should never be a Muslim Candidate for President is RACIST, in the past the argument has been used against a Catholic President or a African - American President.  So both Carson and Trump have shown that they are unfit for the Presidency, Bush does not have the fire in the belly, while Florina has never been elected to office.   Thus we could be left with ONLY HRC having the ability and the fire in the belly to want the Oval Office, politics is a funny old business.

No wonder Jeremy Corbyn had to be talked in to running for the Labour leadership, he must have what the press would do to his policies and his private life.    That is the problem if you live in political bubble, only talking to people who agree with you and not having any real power.  It can be argued that Corbyn is Leader of the Labour Party of two, himself and his Chancellor.   The rest of the Labour MPs are waiting to see how he acts during the Labour Party conference, do the polls go up for Labour, or worse do they go down.   You are never to old to learn, but one doubts Corbyn can see the real world, his bubble has been his world, that World has gone with his election, reality is VERY DIFFERENT.

Well Shadow Cabinet unity has gone out of the window, even being loyal to the leader.   The election of Jeremy Corbyn has shown the splits of Labour Party, between their MPs and the those that belong to the Labour Party.    It is Political conference week in the UK, first is the Liberal Democrats, they are stuck in their own world!!  While the Trade Unions will have a bigger role in policy when the Labour Party has its conference, one wonders how long Corbyn will last, this blog has argued that the flash point could come in the New Year, if the polls are still dire the MPs might move for a coup.    The clock is near 12 for the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, could be  the shortest term leader the Labour Party has ever had.

What a cracker of a start, a child in a handfield, in other words a minefield, and he shouts for help, then the Doctor arrives, and is helping when he asks the name of the child, the kid answers Davros, then the Doctor does a runner.   What a morale problem for the Doctor, the creator of the Daleks before he become evil.   The shame of the Doctor showed, that was a great piece of acting by Peter Capaldi, he thought this must be the end, if the Doctor is not a hero he is nothing!  The Doctor thought his time had come, he was in hiding, then the Missy called, ( The Master, calling the Master Mistress would be so WRONG IN ANY context ) Then we saw Missy and Clara biting the bullet from a Dalek, also the TARDIS, are they dead, is the TARDIS gone, of course not, when the Tardis is under attack it goes in to flight mode.    This review has tried to keep the spoilers to low numbers, but its hard, the entire show is a spoiler.   Can not wait for next week.

New Policy towards Syria - Syrian Crisis

The Russians want to keep Assad in power, the West is more concerned with defeating Daesh at the moment, thus both Russia and the US and its allies have a common enemy, the Western allies will accept that Assad or his regime will remain in power, the Russians want to keep their only warm water port.   The Russians have moved in tanks, and aircraft to defend the Assad position, if the Russians are going to do this anyway the West might as well take the offer up to combine forces to get rid of Daesh.    The problem of Assad will have to be dealt with but it can wait, if and when Daesh is removed the West can place pressure on Assad to have a stable Country, thus the return of refugees.   These developments will take time, the defeat of Daesh has to be the number one aim for the West, the rest can wait.

The best time to consider a debate result is after a good night sleep, as the debate was on at a early morning in the UK, this blogger watched the first hour then later in the morning, the question this blogger asked is what could I recall of the debate.    In the view of this blogger the best lines came from Trump and Bush, when they were asked what would be their Secret Service codename, Bush went with Eveready, while Trump went with Humble. In many respects this shows what the candidates were really think, Bush looked more on form last night, like he had fresh batteries, going after Trump for bringing in his wife in to the debate about immigration.  While Trump it can be argued was trying not to look an ego maniac, it worked for the debate.   On the verdict of the BBC on Carly Florina she could be a real contender, lets see the polls after a few days, while Dr Carson was his quite self.

The days of Labour as Masters of spin are well and truly over, one has to wonder what Tony Blair and his Chief Spin Doctor, Alastair Campbell are thinking of this mess, the new leader has had a disasterous few days.   The right wing press, even the BBC are going after him, the new leadership team made a mistake when it did not follow through with a pre planned interview for the BBC on Sunday.    The press have come to expect a good operation from the Labour Party, well that has gone,  the new Labour press office might as well have dropped their Leader in to a black hole, becasue his press would have been less worse than it is now.   If  Jeremy Corbyn carries on this way he will not  make it to Christmas, the Party will device a coup to get rid of him, the new members can always resign.

The problem that " Extreme Red " Jeremy Corbyn has is that for his political career he has been on the hard left of the Labour Party, his own private bubble.  Corbyn thinks he can speak to the people of  the UK through his own  social media sites without dealing with the press, that is massive mistake, those on social media sites tend to be young, naive, and do not vote, the old vote, see the main stream press, and seeing the leader of the opposition  not sing God Save the Queen will not go down well, Corbyn is on the left of the left.   The Labour Party on the whole is not on the left, young voters get bored fast, move to other areas of interest, and Corbyn is a BORING speaker even for a left winger.  One can almost say that Corbyn needs his own Alastair Campbell, otherwise when you get to close to the Sun you burn, the paper and the our own Sun.

This shows the real " Red " Jeremy Corbyn, he has not show respect to the HM The Queen, the Queen has been on the throne for 63 years, and has done more in 1 day for the people of the UK that Corbyn has done in his 66 years.   The far left fringe politics of Corbyn has shown he is not fit to be the leader of the Opposition.    The Labour Party if it does not get rid of him and fast faces its own destruction.    The press should and will slice and  dice Corby and his left wing Chancellor.    The Labour will come to regret the selection of "Red" Jeremy Corbyn, it will be fun to see Labour suffer, good ending for the ashes that was once the mighty Labour Party.

Here is the truth about tax credits from Alastair Campbell's Diaries, Power and Responsibility 1999 - 2001, Volume 3, on July 13th 2001, the then Prime Minister Tony Blair stated he was lied to about the cost of tax credits, the cost he was told was five hundred million, it was in fact 2 billion by then, and now in 2015 its 30 billion.   Read Page 666.   The Labour Party can not be trusted, they spend like drunkards and expect others to cover the cost.    Thus the formation of the national government in the 1930s and the Coalition Government in 2010.   NEVER trust Labour, they lie to each other, what hope for the people.

The Labour Party allowed this to happen, thus they have to accept the reaction from the people and the press, the New Labour Blair supporters did not have the guts to have one candidate and for that candidate to win, thus for the next two years the Corbyn machine will run the Party, of course next year we have the Scottish, Welsh and local council elections, if Corbyn fails there he can be got rid off, if the Labour supporters do not like it they can resign.  As a leader you need the Shadow Cabinet to defend you to the press, one can assume that will not happen now, the younger MPs will not want to place their careers on the future prospects of Corbyn, that is political reality.   Fun time if you watch politics, grim if your a Labour supporter.

The New Labour wing of the Party must be in, what the hell happened mode, they could never support leaving the EU, it would be interesting if a majority of the Conservative Party voted to leave, with the support of Corbyn, while a majority of Labour MPs under the leadership of David Cameron voted to stay, its a fun old world.  So let Labour keep JC in till after the referendum. they can throw him out later.  It would be ironic if it was Labour that took us out of the EU with the support of mostly Conservatives!

The Left Wing Shadow Cabinet ? - Labour Troubles

Thus " Red " Jeremy Corbyn has formed his Cabinet, it shows how out of touch Corbyn is, the real power is held by men, white and old on the whole, women have been given token jobs or jobs that mean they have to follow the Corbyn line, such as Defence.   It is clear that collective agreement on policy is out of the window, Corbyn's Deputy supports NATO and Trident, also the Unions have many workers who work in the defence field, so their reality might not be their PR view of the issue.  When the political arrows come, the leader should not expect anyone to place his or her career on the line to protect Corbyn, it can be argued that Corbyn is being is used a place holder in till David Miliband comes back or others raise to take his place.   The Conservatives should use the divisions in the Labour Party to move to the centre ground, make Labour a laughing stock, the election of JC has helped in this process, one really wonders does JC understand the slicing and dicing he is going to get from the press, he can not hide from the press, he will have to give interviews, one can see him in tough interviews not doing well, that will be fun to watch. 

Clinton Email Scandal - Update

This latest development could either help or hurt the former Secretary of State, if ALL the deleted emails are shown to be just private info, nothing to do with her post then Hillary Clinton will be in the clear.  The problems comes if there are any emails that deal with State business but was not copied for State, then it will be seen that Hillary Clinton was trying to hide something from the government and the press.   The press being the most important part of that equation.  Also there is the problem of her IT guy taking the 5th, WHY is the question.   Lets see what is on the private server.

Those on the right wing or moderate MPs in the Labour Party will have hard votes, there will be the vote on bombing Syria, the renewal of British's nuclear forces, the fight over the EU, will support their leader or vote for sanity.   The Deputy Leader does not agree with the leader when it comes to NATO or Trident, that is going to cause problems.    Also it will be interesting to see the political polls after a few weeks, the Corbyn leadership wont last long if the polls are bad, Labour voters are not the all voters, the barmy ideas of Red Jeremy Corbyn will go down like a brick.   Let the fun start.

The Labour Party will have to wait in till David Miliband, yes the brother of Ed, comes back from NY to become an MP again and then he can run for the Labour Leadership. The Conservative Party should hit Corbyn on the issues every day, he anti NATO, does not want to fight terrorists, calls some terrorists his friends, wants out of EU, his only good point.   Does not think the UK should have a nuclear defence, even wants to give Argentina some rights in the Falklands.   This is the man that Labour has chosen, they have gone off their rocker, should we allow them to have the vote in a general election.

The new Leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn is a left wing loon, every fringe issue you can think off he is on the left.   The press should slice and dice him every day, the Corbyn AGENDA is a threat to the realm, in both defence and economic spheres.   Those on the right of the Labour Party should plan for a coup in the new year, if Corbyn is still leader next the Labour Party could be destroyed in the Welsh, Scottish, and local council elections.    The BBC News yesterday was kissing the Corbyn backside, while Sky was more critical, the BBC should be careful it is not seen a sa outlet for the Corbyn Agenda, that would give the Conservative Governmene enough reason to sell it off to Rupert Murdoch.

The Clinton machine will spin this as old news, and since it looks like Donald Trump could be the Republican nominee this blog will take its lead from the Clinton spin machine.    Lets hope they do a better job in the future, their present operation is a joke.  The Clinton Press Secretary stated he did not know what a wiped server meant, it is that kind of thinking that could cost  Hillary Clinton the nomination.  The US voter is not thick and and should not be treated as such by the Clinton Camp.   The Clinton camp needs to re-group and come up with a better spin for the Clinton email scandal.  One can assume that the private server was hacked by the Russians, China and even North Korea, thus ALL materials on the Clinton server has to be looked at in that context.

At leas the UK is on the same page as the US when it comes to drone strikes, the UK has been far to slow to use drones for this kind of clean up operation.   The Daesh Terrorists once they joined Daesh lose ALL their rights, they butchers and the lowest of the low, the left it seems is more concerned about the rights of terrorists than the right of the people of the UK to be defended agaisnt terrorist threats.    The UK and the US needs Special Forces in Syria to take the fight to Daesh, they are a major threat to the region and the World.

The Guardian/BBC types will be happy that Jeremy Corbyn will win the election, its their kind of left wing out there agenda that will run the Labour Party.    As a political opposition the Labour Party will become a joke, they can forget 2020 and 20205 general elections, one only hopes that David Miliband comes back in time to save the Party.    The Conservartives only problem will be the regular backbench opposition.   The Party only has a majority of 12, thus No 10 has to keep them in line and keep their support.    What a great day Saturday will be when Corbyn wins, the Conservativers can rest a bit in till 2025.

This blog supports the drone strikes of the US and the UK, the drones should be in the air 24/7 and they should be armed.   The Daesh terrorists need to be taken down, the war against them will take years, and West is afraid to place ground troops in either Syria and Iraq, that can be understood given the history, thus the left should stop their cries for trials and support total drone war on Daesh, they live outside the law, they should face the results from the air.    Thus righteous kill by the US.

10 Downing Street: Reports on the statement of the UK Prime Minister on recent attacks on Daesh terrorists in Syria,  " Mr Speaker, turning to our national security: I would like to update the House on action taken this summer to protect our country from a terrorist attack.

Mr Speaker, with the rise of ISIL, we know the terrorist threats to our country are growing. In 2014 there were 15 ISIL-related attacks around the world. This year there have already been 150 such attacks, including the appalling tragedies in Tunisia in which 31 Britons lost their lives. And I can tell the House that our police and security services have stopped at least 6 different attempts to attack the UK in the last 12 months alone.

Mr Speaker, the threat picture facing Britain in terms of Islamist extremist violence is more acute today than ever before. In stepping up our response to meet this threat, we have developed a comprehensive counter-terrorism strategy that seeks to prevent and disrupt plots against this country at every stage.

It includes new powers to stop suspects travelling. It includes powers to enable our police and our security services to apply for stronger locational constraints on those in the UK who pose a risk. It addresses the root cause of the threat – the poisonous ideology of Islamist extremism – by taking on all forms of extremism, not just violent extremism.

We have pursued Islamist terrorists through the courts and the criminal justice system. Since 2010 over 800 people have been arrested and over 140 successfully prosecuted. And our approach includes acting overseas to tackle the threat at source with British aircraft delivering nearly 300 air strikes over Iraq and our airborne intelligence and surveillance assets have assisted our coalition partners with their operations over Syria.

As part of this counter-terrorism strategy, as I have said before, if there is a direct threat to the British people and we are able to stop it by taking immediate action, then as Prime Minister, I will always be prepared to take that action and that’s the case whether the threat is emanating from Libya, Syria or from anywhere else.

Mr Speaker, in recent weeks it has been reported that 2 ISIL fighters of British nationality who had been plotting attacks against the UK and other countries have been killed in airstrikes. Both Junaid Hussain and Reyaad Khan, were British nationals based in Syria who were involved in actively recruiting ISIL sympathisers and seeking to orchestrate specific and barbaric attacks against the West, including directing a number of planned terrorist attacks right here in Britain, such as plots to attack high profile public commemorations, including those taking place this summer.

We should be under no illusion. Their intention was the murder of British citizens. So on this occasion we ourselves took action. Today I can inform the House that in an act of self-defence and after meticulous planning Reyaad Khan was killed in a precision air strike carried out on 21 August by an RAF remotely piloted aircraft while he was travelling in a vehicle in the area of Raqqah in Syria.

In addition to Reyaad Khan who was the target of the strike, 2 ISIL associates were also killed, 1 of whom – Ruhul Amin, has been identified as a UK national. They were ISIL fighters and I can confirm there were no civilian casualties.

Mr Speaker, we took this action because there was no alternative. In this area, there is no government we can work with. We have no military on the ground to detain those preparing plots. And there was nothing to suggest that Reyaad Khan would ever leave Syria or desist from his desire to murder us at home. So we had no way of preventing his planned attacks on our country without taking direct action.

The US administration has also confirmed that Junaid Hussain was killed in an American airstrike on 24 August in Raqqah.

With these issues of national security and with current prosecutions ongoing, the House will appreciate that there are limits on the details I can provide.

However, Mr Speaker, let me set out for the House the legal basis for the action we took the processes we followed and the implications of this action on our wider strategy in countering the threat of ISIL...

Mr Speaker, my first duty as Prime Minister is to keep the British people safe. That is what I will always do. There was a terrorist directing murder on our streets and no other means to stop him.

This government does not for one moment take these decisions lightly.

But I am not prepared to stand here in the aftermath of a terrorist attack on our streets and have to explain to the House why I did not take the chance to prevent it, when I could have done.

That is why I believe our approach is right.

And I commend this statement to the House.  "

This was the correct action by the UK, no UK PM could go to the House and say he or she knew about a terrorist threat and did nothing, the left wing will talk about the needs for trials, in the case of Syria it could not be done.   The killings were righteous kills by the RAF.   The RAF should be proud of its actions.

This is the choice that the Labour Party has, to go over a cliff with Jeremy Corbyn or to vote for any body else, the Labour Party faces internal fights if Corbyn wins, the man does not even support NATO.   Corbyn has shown that he is to pro Russia, would not defend our allies and out national interests.   The Labour Party has to get over Iraq and Tony Blair, and show that is still wants power.   This is a call for ALL rational Labour supporters to vote for anybody but Corbyn, otherwise forget being the official opposition.

This development does not bring good news to the CLINTON PR machine.   Any time someone pleads the 5TH it gives the wrong impression, and the Republicans will milk this for all its worth.    One has to why the ex staffer would plead the 5th, the Democrats have started to cover for the staffer, but once its on the news it does not look good.  One is wondering when VP Biden will enter the race.  He could become the Democrat Mr Clean.   Interesting days in Clinton land.
