This blog had great doubts about Doctor Carson after he stated that he would not be happy to see a Muslim President of the US, that to this blog was racist and against the spirit of the US system.  One can hope that Dr Carson will have a chance to rethink his views and become more moderate for the next election cycle, or could Dr Carson run for State office.   An interesting candidate lost in the heat of 2016. 

Trump and Super Tuesday - Election 2016

Daily Mail: Reports " Trump dominates Super Tuesday by winning SEVEN states: Tycoon crushes his rivals as Ted Cruz takes Texas, Alaska and a surprise victory in Oklahoma - knocking Marco Rubio out the race for second place...Democrat Hillary Clinton earned victories in seven states compared to Bernie Sanders' four but he beat expectations ... "

Lets Get Real:

The Trump and Clinton Campaign now need to change course and set their agenda for the November election, the Trump Campaign needs to make an agreement with the Republican Establishment that it will work with the Congress should it get elected, while HRC has to make a shift from the left to the center ground.   The left wing rhetoric that HRC uses will damage her in the general election, also she needs a center right VP, lets recall Sanders is on the extreme left, that kind of theme works for liberal Democrats it does not work for Main Street and Wall Street, and Wall Street will support a candidate that supports business, while Main Street wants tax cuts and no ObamaCare.  The Clinton Campaign has one worry that the Donald does not have, it needs money, thus HRC will need to keep Wall Street happy as to get money from them.   It is going to be long and hard fight for the Oval. 

Super Tuesday Results - Election 2016

BBC News: Reports " Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump have each won the most states on the biggest day of the race for the US presidential nominations. "

Lets Get Real:

In essence the Democratic Party fight is OVER, HRC will be the nominee, one can expected Senator Sanders to go on, but even he must get the fact that HRC will have the delegate count by the Democratic convention.   On the Republican side it was interesting reaction by the Donald, the article notes the following, " This was a strikingly different Donald Trump who met reporters on Tuesday night. His tone was conciliatory. He was quietly spoken. He said he would be a unifier - of the Republican Party, of the nation. He didn't crow and he didn't claim to be the nominee, but he clearly thinks the primary race is effectively over.  ".  This blog expects both Clinton and Trump to go to general election mode, lets see who can get to the bottom of the barrel first, this blog would bet on the Donald. 

Nevada GOES for TRUMP - Election 2016

Lets Get Real:

IF this blog betted on political results it would be risky to vote against the Donald for the Republican nomination, Senator Rubio needs to win States, he has to win his home State of Florida, while Cruz has to take Texas.   One can see a way to the Republican nomination for Trump, but with each loss it gets harder for Rubio.    Let's postulate that Trump wins the nomination, then the Democrats have to get their election over fast and ALLOW HRC to become the Democratic nominee, as the Donald is funding himself, the Democrats have to hit their supporters hard for money, and lot of money, lets see if the Clintons can match the Donald.  The Democratic Primary in South Carolina is expected to go to Clinton, the Democratic Establishment has to place pressure on Sanders to get out, the longer he stays the more flak Clinton will face from Trump and Sanders. 

New Republican Poll - Election 2016

CNN - Politics: Reports on a new CBS poll for Republicans, on the national level, " Trump tops the field with 35% support, followed by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz with 18% support and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in third place with 12%, per the survey. "

Lets Get Real:

Thus it can be argued that the race is for Trump to lose, in less ALL the other candidates drop and out and allow only one real challenge this race is over, the Donald has the money to outspend the other candidates, and he is a billionaire, he can just write himself a cheque.   This blog would never support, Trump or Cruz, the question is can Rubio get through, is he to callow a youth, the next election cycle might suite him, politics is a hard business, no prizes for coming 2nd. 

Trump on Ted Cruz - Election 2016

CNN - Politics: Reports on the following remarks by Donald Trump on Senator Ted Cruz, " "Ted Cruz is a liar, I mean he really just outright lies," he continued. "He'll say whatever he wants to say. I actually think he's a very unstable person, I really believe that. I think he's a very unstable person. But I've never had somebody take something that you believe in and just say the exact opposite." "

Lets Get Real:

One would have to VERY drunk to think that Donald Trump would make a good President, you would have to buy a third hand nuclear bunker. you would just know that with the first six months of his Presidency he would end up in a WAR with someone with a nuke, take your pick on who.  But that is not the worse, a Cruz Presidency would see the West in a war within six weeks.   Thus the need for a moderate candidate, right wing yes, but not a ego maniac or nuts, that is not asking a lot  of the US voter.  This blog is supporting Bush/Rubio for SC, one hopes but ones political gut is telling one that Trump will win in SC. 

The END game for Trump and Sanders - Election 2016

Clinton could yet blow her opponent out of the water quickly if she holds Nevada and takes South Carolina with a decisive win among minorities. March will probably be a decisive month, starting with the Super Tuesday test across 13 states. "

Lets Get Real:

As stated if HRC can take Nevada and South Carolina this Democratic race will be over, she has the money and the ground work, SO she should not lose, if she does we are talking a different game.    On the Republican side, if Trump wins South Carolina big its all over, also he has the benefit that there are still a crowded  lane in the Establishment field.  By the time the Establishment works out who is their candidate it could be over, the Donald has been lucky so far, will he be luck in the South. 

Donald Trump on Hillary Clinton - Election 2016

Thus the Donald won the New Hampshire Primary with 35% of the vote, in second was Governor Kasich of Ohio with 16%, the question is does Kasich have the money and ground work to use this 2nd place when it comes to South Carolina, the State is more suited to the third place Senator Cruz, it has a lot of christians that will be attracted to the Conservative Cruz.  But lets not forget Jeb Bush, everyone has written him off, even this blog, but he came in fourth and has the money and ground work SC.   Also Bush 43 will campaign for him there, thus the Republican race is not over.   On the Dem side, the FIX is in for HRC, she is going after Super Delegates, those are the elite Dems within a State, thus she lost NH by double digits she will end up with the same delegates as Sanders.  This is why the political machine is hated by people, it might not be illegal but it SMELLS BAD. 

How will the vote go in New Hampshire - Election 2016

That's far higher than we saw in Iowa, where the complicated caucus format depresses turnout, and could be good news for the front-runners. "

If the above happens then Trump and Sanders could have a very good night, the question on the Republican side is who will come 2nd and how close will the other candidates be, who will drop out and who has the money to carry on, it is expected that Jeb Bush as the money to carry on to the South.  The Bush Campaign has stated that Bush 41 will support his brother in the South, as to the Democrats, it will NOT depend on the margin, what ever the result, the Clintons will go South and win, and then its ALL over for Senator Sanders, this blog has no reason to see Sanders having any success in the South.   The Reports need a race on the Democratic side to justify their rooms and bar bills, otherwise they know it ALL over. 

Bill Clinton on Senator Sanders - Election 2016

The New York Times: Reports on the following remarks by former President, Bill Clinton, " The former president, addressing a few hundred supporters at a junior high school here, portrayed his wife’s opponent for the Democratic nomination as hypocritical, “hermetically sealed” and dishonest.  "

Lets Get Real:

The former President has a nerve, talking about honesty, he shamed the US for over year before admitting he had an affair with a White House intern.   The truth only came out after the Clintons had poll tested when it was the best time to come clean.   On the other hand if you really love someone, e.g Bill and Hillary you have to a duty to tell them they are NOT great political candidates.    As this blog has stated, it will support HRC over Sanders, Trump or Cruz, but it has to be honest, it has NO fondness for HRC, thinks the truth and HRC are not that connected and worse, she is bloody bad candidate, you can see her mind moving to cover any political risk.   Lets hope the New Hampshire voters come to their senses and vote for HRC, please,  on the Republican side, this blog would be quite happy to support Rubio, Kasich or Bush, they are moderate and just might make great Presidents. 

Third Party Candidate for the 2016 Election

Lets Get Real:

Another billionaire, for goodness sake, but least Michael Bloomberg is a moderate, and is anti guns, and pro Western economic system.   The question is does he stand a chance hell of getting elected, he has the money, his record as Mayor of New York after 9/11.   It depends if the Democrats and the Republicans go over the cliff with the nomination of either Sanders or Trump/Cruz.   It could be argued that the two party system needs a good challenge, let's see what happens after New Hampshire.

The liberal press elite are NOW going to start to target the Donald, they do not think there is a need a for a War on Terror and they oppose ALL torture.   This blog is starting to like the Donald, there needs to be a tough war on terror, and torture works, when information is needed and the suspect will not spill his guts there needs to be tougher methods, Water boarding, loud noise, no sleep or food, and many other methods.  If one session of water boarding saves just 1 life, then it should be used, terrorists do not have any rights, they should never be given POW statues, they are murders etc, they have no rights, the Donald just might turn me in to a Trump supporter. 

Governor Christie on Rubio - Election 2016

Guardian - US Politics Live: Reports the following on Governor Christie of NJ, and his debate in its 5.39pm post " Christie’s performance in the debate - where he came out firing at Rubio and carried on pulling the trigger for two-and-a-half hours - had resonated with the crowd, as well as with himself. The question is can Senator Rubio keep his 2nd place in most New Hampshire polls, if he falters and is replaced by either Christie or Kasich then the rest will have to go home.  It will be a three man race, Trump, Cruz and ? that is the interesting question, this blog still thinks Rubio could beat Hillary Clinton, depends who the Republicans in NH think is the best candidate.  It can be postulated that Jeb Bush still has the money to carry, if they are not 2nd in NH it could be good night from Christie, Kasich and Carson.  A few days to go, how will it end in NH?

Rubio roasted by fellow Republicans - Election 2016

BBC News: Reports the following on Senator Rubio at the Saturday debate in New Hampshire, " Senator Marco Rubio was attacked by several Republican rivals for the party's nomination to run for the White House, in a fractious TV debate. "

The moment Senator Rubio came a strong 3rd just behind Trump in the Iowa vote he has a become a political target for others wanting to be the Establishment Candidate to fight Donald Trump, thus Governor Christie a former Federal lawyer put the boot in, he has called him a boy in the bubble, and then scripted, well the Florida Senator did not help himself, he repeated his stump speech, that Obama knows what he is doing, by some counts he said it 8 times.  One the whole Trump, and Cruz had a good night, with one exception, Trump got in to a battle with Jeb Bush, those in the hall booed the Trump, but Trump turned it around by stating that they represented Establishment of money, thus he won.   Projection for NH, Trump, Rubio, Kasich, we shall next week how the voters voted. 

Jeb Bush ATTACKS Rubio - Election 2016

It is pity that Governor Bush was not this combative at the start of the Campaign, one has to question can he get a good finish in New Hampshire, it seems that the Establishment candidate has become Senator Rubio.   Of course it is a couple of days to the New Hampshire primary and anything can happen, is it enough time for Governor Bush to become the new Establishment candidate? The voters of NH will decide the future of a few of the Republican candidates on Tuesday.

This is Senator Rubio's chance to become the Establishment Candidate, he needs a good showing in NH before going on to the Southern States, a win would be a great but one can assume that the Trump will make sure he wins New Hampshire, this is his stepping stone to the South, and the Republican nomination.   The problem is he is grumpy after losing in Iowa, the Donald has to get over himself, otherwise he will learn what happens when ratings go down for a TV Show, it is pulled, the Donald has to set him mind on NH and the threat from Rubio. 

The Donald vs. Cruz - Iowa Charge - Election 2016

Lets Get Real:

The reality star has meet political reality and he does not like it, one has to assume that Donald Trump does not lose that often in his business or private life.  The fact that Trump is still going about Iowa shows that he does not understand the political process, Iowa is finished, its New Hampshire NOW, the Trump machine, if it has one has to get its operation going in NH as to make sure that Trump wins, he has lead in all the polls, if Trump does lose New Hampshire to Rubio it could be over for Trump.   The same goes for Senator Sanders, he has a huge lead in NH, if HRC can beat him or come a close 2nd the race is over, its HRC all the way to Oval. 

Is Rubio the new Ronald Reagan? - Election 2016

Telegraph: Reports the following on Senator Marco Rubio, " Rubio did well in Iowa among younger voters and the well-educated; he cleaned up in urban centres, which bodes well for the later big state primaries like Ohio and Pennsylvania. If Jeb Bush bows out, Rubio’s native Florida is in also in the bag. So Rubio has the potential to do what Reagan did 30 years ago: take the fury of grassroots conservatism, mellow it with humour and transform it into a strong electoral coalition. "

Lets Get Real:

The Rubio surge was expected, the fact that he got close to Trump is second was a shock, Trump has not been off the TV, he didn't have to advertise he had free coverage from the news networks.   Thus we come to New Hampshire, what will the Donald do, it will require real retail politics by him in NH, he has a strong lead, but leads can be lost, can he do a Reagan, skip the Iowa Debate and lose Iowa to Bush 41 but then go to win in NH.   The question is can the Donald take advice and will he listen?  As for Rubio no expects him to win NH, thus the Senator must try, as with Hillary Clinton, a shock win in NH for Rubio could end the race, but then does the Senator have it himself to win, he comes across as charming and clever, but he is so young, is he ready for the Presidency.  This blog has its doubts that Rubio is the next Reagan, Reagan was a Master politician who never admitted he was a politician.

Goodbye Iowa, we hardly knew You!

BBC News - Politics Live from New Hampshire: Reports the following on HRC in its 6.48pm post, 

" Asked what she thinks of her prospects in New Hampshire, she said:  "I care a lot about this state...I know people tend to favour their neighbours - and Bernie Sanders is a neighbour - but I think we'll have a good contest. I feel good about my prospects." "

Lets Get Real:

It is expected that HRC will get knocked out out in New Hampshire, Senator Sanders has a strong lead and is from a neighbouring State, as stated this could be a golden chance for the Clinton Campaign to STEAL a VICTORY, it needs it best operatives on the ground to push for a victory next week.   If Senator Sanders wins the Democratic race will be a long and tough race and will cost a lot of dollars.  The Clinton needs to get ready for the general election, thus if it has the chance of knocking out Sanders it should take the chance, life is a gamble, so is politics, so finish this Clinton Camp. 

The Republican Debate - Election 2016

Telegraph - US Politics Live: Has the following review of the Fox Presidential Debate, " A very successful stunt by Donald Trump to skip the debate and steal the headlines. But, in terms of who won the debate itself, Mr Trump's absence also helped Jeb Bush shine - he was unburdened, light-hearted and seemed to have a bit of energy back. It's still a long way back for the self-proclaimed "establishment candidate" though. Ted Cruz failed to handle the increased attention on him. Another of Mr Trump's rivals had a good night - Megyn Kelly was an excellent host. "

Lets Get Real:

The real question is can Jeb Bush use this success when it comes to votes on Monday night, at least without Trump around the other politicians could relax and debate real issues, Cruz by general agreement did not have a good night, ALL the other candidates went for him as Trump was missing.  Thus either Jeb Bush or Senator Rubio could be the Establishment choice to take on THE TRUMP, the question is what will be their vote share on Monday and how well they do in New Hampshire.
