Trump remembers the 1970's and the Carter Presidency, and effect the oil crisis and hostage crisis had on Jimmy Carter re - election bid against Ronald Reagan, he lost.   Thus Trump does not want a LONG WAR in Iran, he wants his VP to have clear run for Presidency in 2028, Trump does not want lot of body bags returning to the US.    Thus Trump will not probably go for a long war, just enough destruction to warn Iran off going nuclear.  Trump keeps eyes on the Markets, as we all should today.

Khamenei does not have long to go, US and Israel will want to kill him.  There are reports that he is injured, he has not been seen since the WAR started, one presumes he is hiding in a deep cave, when will American and Israeli bombs find him, he is toast.
