This could really be about Kharg Island in Iran, the Island is the tap for the oil from Iran to the outer world, taking this would force to Tehran Regime to talk, they would not have the money to keep support in Iran, the Islamic Regime is as bent as you can come, they keep their street support through paying for thugs to harm and kill people.   The move on Kharg Island would be risky, there would be ground troops, Iran would try to kill or kidnap the troops and show them on Iranian TV as way to get to Americans, on the other hand this would be a mistake, the American psyche still recalls 444 days that Iran held the US Embassy staff in Iran, during the Carter Presidency.  Trump will want to win and quicky, he has the Mid Terms coming in November.

The funeral of Jimmy Carter celebrated his whole life, from peanut farmer, Governor of Georgia to President of the United States, and his decades of work for Democracy to charity work building houses.  Quite respectfull, but would Carter give up all the post Presidential work for a 2nd term and to be treated better by historians and history.  That is an interesting question.

This is the last thing that POTUS needs, in the Classic period they would have gone on about omens, POTUS saying that the only reason he would get out of the race was if God told him, then we have the assassination attempt on Trump and the Democrats on the HILL wanting him out, now he gets COVID - 19 just after he said that it would be ill health would force him out.   The Gods do not send 2nd warnings, it is time that POTUS  thought about allowing the VP to take the torch, the endless Democrats calling for him to leave the race, will hurt the Biden brand with voters.  Also did the Doctor have to say that POTUS was having general mailaise, that brings back the JIMMY CARTER Era, not one that POTUS wants to be associated with during an election period.   The President will recover in a few days, he needs to think does he really want this job for another 4 years!!

The simple question I ask, do you see Presidents Kennedy or Reagan going on a picket line, lets recall that Reagan was ONLY President to have been President of his Union,  the screens actors guild.  As above shows Reagan actually fired 11,345 air traffic controllers when the went on strike, Reagan was a tough President but fair, he gave them notice of that fact and the day they had to return.  This got the notice of the USSR, they saw that Reagan was a tough President, he was not weak like Jimmy Carter.  The American voter likes to see some regal image of the Presidency, walking the picket line is not regal, makes you like a politician desperate for votes, and Biden could find himself needing the workers in these  State to give enough electoral voters in 2024.  Well if it a choice between  Biden or Trump, it will have to be Biden, as long as he supports the Ukraine, and does not go gaga on the job.

Thus each hostage cost a billion and half, the Biden Oval has had no interest those Afghans the US left behind after their hurried departure from Afghanistan.   The Biden Oval has appeased Iran, the question will it appease Iran over its nuclear ambitions and Tehran giving drones to the Russians to wage WAR on the Ukraine.   The endless talking to Iran has gotten the US and the West nowhere, they have the bomb or are close to the bomb, at some point ISRAEL and the US will need to stand up to Iran.   The Tehran Government thinks that Biden is weak, this will cost the US in the future, that does not help the US or Western security.

One does hope that POTUS does not come to regret these words, what the Lord giveth, a good Hill victory the Lord taketh away with Afghanistan and China might invade Taiwan, thus forcing the US and the West to support the Democratic Island.  This blog has argued that you can be liberal or conservative when it comes to your domestic agenda, but you have to be STRONG when you are President, one only looks at what happened to Jimmy Carter, the Russians going in to Afghanistan and the Tehran hostage crisis, American President need to be feared by the World, being like does not matter, that was the problem with President Obama, when he drew a red line if Syria used chemical weapons and they did and Obama did nothing.  That what happens when you get the NOBEL PRIZE for DOING NOTHING.  The personal ego takes over the Presidential ego.  At the end of his two terms, President Obama had a 58% approval rating with Gallup, while Reagan had 63% and Clinton had 66%, with the CBS poll both had 68% even after their policy and personal scandals.   A President needs to be feared more than loved, and respected, China is seeing how far it can push Biden and Taiwan.

This is a major military and psychological loss for the Kyiv Government, the Kremlin from taking the above City COULD declare victory and absorb most of South East Ukraine, one green spot is the fact that the Russians have not taken Odesa, the Ukraine Military have placed mines on the sea to prevent Russian from doing a sea invasion, that is why in part the Russians have stolen the grain of Ukraine, they want the Kyiv Government to remove the sea mines, that would allow the grain to get out of the Ukraine but would also allow the Russians to invade Odesa from the sea.  The Russians will do anything to WIN, even starving millions in Africa and costing inflation to raise in the West.  The UK and the USA really need to up the military equipment sent to the Ukraine, the Russians have to be stopped or the WAR could be over and US and the UK in over a year would have lost Afghanistan and the Ukraine.  President Biden needs to wake up, or he will be seen as another Jimmy Carter Mark 2.

Since Afghanistan the WORLD has questioned the leadership of the US and specially in the case of President Biden, this is the time for BIDEN to show why POTUS is seen as the LEADER of THE FREE WORLD.  The US has to show that it can match Putin's Russia and if need be outspend it, as Reagan did the USSR in the Cold War.   The US has the power to bring the Russian economy to it knees, it should place the hardest sanctions on Russia, MAKE Russian the ultimate rogue nation, make it clear that Putin will no longer get diplomatic visits, no more talking no more treating the Russians as a equal power. Putin is the new Hitler, he has followed Hitler's case study, it started with Georgia in 2008, then Crimea in 2014 and now the Ukraine in 2022.  The West has to be seen to clobber Putin and his regime.  Thus Biden has to find his inner Reagan otherwise he will be seen as another Jimmy Carter Mark 2.

Are the Democrats trying to get Trump re-elected in 2020, they want to give medical cover to illegal migrants, they want to abolish private health care, and now there is one of the WORST Presidents in US history, Jimmy Carter attacking POTUS.   One only has to recall the 1977 - 81 period and a shiver goes down one's spine, Carter without question is one of the worse Oval Office holders ever, the economy was in the tank, unemployment was high, then we come to the Russian invasion of Afghanistan and the US hostages held in Iran for 444 days.  When Reagan was sworn in as President, the sun came out, the hostages were returned, and Reagan bought tax cuts, cuts in welfare, increase defence spending, at the end  of his two terms, US inflation was down, unemployment was low, the Cold War was over, as Lady Thatcher said Reagan had won the Cold War without firing a shot.   The USSR started to leave Afghanistan, the Berlin Wall came down, Eastern Europe was free of communism, in 1991 the USSR dissolved  President Carter should really be quiet, he is not helping the Democrats.

The only President to have served two terms and to see the nominee of his Party win in a 152 years was Ronald Reagan, the Gipper could hand over to Bush 41, his Vice - President, and this in many respects and the fact that the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, few months after Reagan left office and then the fall of the USSR placed Reagan in the league of GREAT American Presidents.   The very FACT that President Obama thought that HRC would of course naturally win, shows how touch a President can come after serving two terms as President.  When your staff say your great ALL THE TIME, it can mess with your head, and President Obama's great black hair went white after serving two terms, Reagan hair was still black and he was in his late 70s.   The Gipper showed that the Presidency can not be a burden, if you have the right character for the job.  It can be argued that Bill Clinton looked great after serving 8 years, and he had deal with the fact that he took over from Bush 41 and his successor was Bush 43.  In the late 1960s, LBJ's greatest fear was that he would be seen as the President between the Kennedy's, that being JFK and RFK.   In many respects Obama allowed the pressure to get to him, well at least his hair, Jimmy Carter really aged in Office, 1977-81.  It can be argued that he faced some of the greatest challenges of any President.
