The review in one word is DAMAGING.  Even CNN won't protect the Bidens.  The reviewer wrote a scathing book about the Biden Campaign in 2024, no punches are held.  JOE BIDEN should have not run 2024 and left the Presidential race to late to HELP VP Harris.  The former President had declined to much to run for a 2nd term.  If had dropped out at an early stage then there could be Democrat in the White House today.

The VP is looking for someone to blame, she has such a short period to get her campaign ready and she also complains that the White House did not see her as part of the team, she suggests that her success would have been a success for the President.  One can not think that Bush 41, the most loyal Vice - Presidents in history making such remarks.  It could be that former VP Harris is thinking about 2028, she would be able to say that she did not get a fair crack of the whip due to the late drop out of Biden after the debate.   At the end of the day its down to the President should he run again, Nancy Reagan did not want Ronald Reagan to run for 2nd term, but Gipper wated it and it was successful with the exception of Iran - Contra, the Cold War came to end in Iceland, almost all nuclear weapons were nearly banned, Reagan was more of a dove than people give him credit for.  Within a year of Reagan leaving Office, the Berlin Wall came down and then the dissolution of the USSR in 1991, under Reagan's chosen successor, Bush 41.

The post-mortem of a failed Presidential run is more fun, defeat has a hundred fathers and winning one has the Candidate who wins and listened to his son as to whom is COOL in the podcast age, Trump gave three hours to the top podcaster in the US, the Harris Campaign turned him down, they were only willing to give him a hour.   Thus the podcaster endorsed Trump.  That 3 hours was time well spent.   The VP did not give herself licence to distance herself from President Biden, on the tv show THE VIEW, she could not think of one thing that she would do differently that Biden even Afghanistan, even LBJ's VP broke with him on Vietnam, and came very close to winning.   The issue of abortion didn't sell itself to older women, they were more concerned about the cost of weekly bills, the Democrats hoped that as before abortion would bring women on a large scale to vote for Harris.  As the article states, it barely moved the needle.   This blog suggested that she say she would only do one term, it would show she was different form Biden, or she could resigned the Vice - Presidency, and ran opposed to Biden, one assumes she liked Air Force 2 to much.  The Democrats need to back their roots, the working class, not Graduates, not everyone has a degree.   The American family want a strong leader, not that someone that breaks glass ceilings for women, hard to hear but its important.  The Democrats need to go back to their nomination process in Iowa AND New Hampshire, not rig the process at they did for Biden in 2020, let the voters see what the Democrats are offering, 2026 not far away, after the Mid Terms in 2026, Democratic candidates should start to visit Iowa and NH.   The American election process in endless.  That is Democracy at WORK.

Thus we come to the end of the FAILED Presidency of Joe Biden, the President Stated that if he had more time, the great policies he had developed would have been liked by the American people.   Voters do not want yesterday's news, they want promises for tomorrow, for aged politician Biden did not get that, that is somewhat of a shock.  Thus Biden will joint the club of one term President's.  That incudes Carter, Bush41, Trump 45, and now Biden.  The President has till January 20 2025, thus he should support the Ukraine, Trump wont, also allow Israel to hit Iran's nuclear structures,.   President Biden should have left after one term as he promised, standing for a 2nd term was a mistake, that cost the. Democrats, they will blame him.

It was a nice concession speech, the writers on US politics will be writing about this campaign for years, was it the wrong candidate, did the campaign message become it own reality, women voted for Trump even after the abortion decision by the US Supreme Court, was Speaker Pelosi right or wrong to get rid of President Biden when she did, would POTUS have been a better candidate, his remark that  he thought supporters of Trump were garbage did not help, well it can be argued that it was President Biden's mistake to run for a 2nd term that allowed Trump to win.  The message of 2020 was that Biden would be a bridge for the future, then he decided he was the future, when he was not up to it, the Democrats rigged the election process for him, now at least Iowa and NH can go back to being start of the process.   The Democrats have to get up from the floor think about 2026 Mid Terms, and what message they will have.   The people of the Ukraine will be worried, will Trump appease Putin, in the Middle East the Israeli PM can tell Biden to take a hike, they will deal with Trump.   The 47th President will try to deport millions of illegal aliens, cut taxes, President Trump has the firm support of the American voters.

Thus we can start to look at how the Harris first term will deal with the Ukraine War and Israel.  One hopes that President Harris will okay the use of long range missiles given to the Ukraine by the US and allow Kyiv to strike deep inside Russia.   At the start the President has to be tough with Putin, he will try to see if she is weak in the early days of her Presidency, then she will support Israel but get them to back off in Gaza, how many places left in Gaza have they not bombed.   As to Lebanon, she must get Hezbollah to back off and stop firing rockets in to Israel, the people of Northern Israel must be allowed to return to their homes with the threat of terrorism by Hezbollah removed, one can expect that North Korea will try something to see how the young Harris Administration reacts, that goes for Iran also.  The US Congress and who controls it will either help or hinder the new Administration.  After the election the hype of the sentences of Trump will come in to the news, CNN needs Trump for its ratings.   If the President Elect is clever she will pardon Trump and Hunter Biden for Federal charges, get it off her table, the States verdicts are outside her power.   At least the Republican Party can then try to find its Reagan soul, 2026 Mid Terms will come up soon. Then 2028, the cycle never ends.

CNN showed Trump's speech from Florida, it was racist, he stated that the other central and Southern America countries were throwing their prisoners and mental patients on to American soil.  One cannot believe that he is still spouting this kind of rubbish, it is a return to the his original speech when he announced he was running for the Presidency.   Trump has not grown while in OFFICE or losing in 2020 to President Biden.  This is why this blog is supporting VP Harris in this campaign, she will support the Ukraine and defend Israel but also be honest with Israel about its actions in Gaza.   The VP is not this blog's cup of tea, but is better than Trump, and the great Gipper is gone.   Reagan said his last speech from the Oval Office, if there have to be WLLS there needs to be doors, Reagan had been Governor of California.
