If this result actually happens, the VP's campaign would be very happy, also sane Americans.  Nearly all polls from national to state polls show a TIED race or Trump or Harris ahead by 1% to 2%, thus we wait for election day and hope of a clear result, not endless Court cases, will Trump accept the result, thar is open to debate.  There could be surprises, one candidate winning the national poll but losing the electoral college, it happened in 2000 and 2016, who will take the Congree?  If the election is tied it goes to the House, that is in the outer limits of options.   Thus more polls during week.

THE latest polls have Trump leading by 2% or Harris by 5% or tied.  Thus you can see why Democrats are getting their knickers in a twist, Harris is the media darling for the Liberal press, female, a Californian Liberal, and black.   The VP might still win, but its tough, could this  be 2000 or 2016 again.  ANOTHER Trump term, this blogs political gut is saying YES.

It's up to the US Supreme Court to decide if Trump can be a candidate - 2024 Candidate/2024 General Election

Thus this helps Trump, the elite media and establishment are seen to try to thwart Trump, it does not help democracy or the legal system, the hope is that the US Supreme Court throw out this ruling, it would be a warning to other Stages not to try this, the same thing could happen to Biden.  Also it gives something else for President Putin to crow about, that the liberal establishment will break the law or do anything to thwart Trump.  The legal system should be used as a last resort, not the first way to challenge the opposition, the US Presidency should not be decided by lawyers and judges as in 2000 as in Bush vs Gore.

The Bush family is part of the American elite, Bush 43's grandfather was a US Senator, his father was Vice - President and President in his own right from 1989 to 1993 when he failed to win re-election in 1992.   Then Bush 43 who was twice elected Governor of Texas was elected in 2000 or selected by the US Supreme Court, take your pick on that.  The Bush Dynasty has class and understands history, Bush 43 is a great reader of history, and understands the importance of form, if they are not ill former Presidents normally attend the swearing in of their successor.  One does not see Trump attending events with former Presidents, he is thinking of 2024 and can he keep his base within the Republican Party.  The Republican Party needs a new Reagan someone who can go to toe with Trump and has loads of charisma, WHO IS THE QUESTION?

The MIND SET of POTUS ( Trump ) - Biden Era

It is fair to argue that the taped conversation between Trump and a Georgian official, could cross the line when it comes to State or Federal LAW, but the real worry is that Trump will take action over Iran or Iran might try to force the issue before Biden becomes President.  One can assume that Biden will appease Iran, the sanctions will be lifted and the US and the UN will try to get the Obama agreement restored, that will help with the Obama legacy.  Of course one can be critical of Trump, he has lost he plot, but not when it comes to IRAN, they are already increasing their nuclear capacity that is well over the agreement signed by Obama and Iran.  Thus President Biden will try to restore a flawed agreement, the real worry is what he is going to do about Russia and North Korea, the Democrats have been critical of Trump when it comes to Putin, but what to they plan to do about it, while North Korea is nuclear armed, is Biden going to go to war with North Korea, one has doubts.  Time will tell.

As stated in my previous most, either HRC has lost the plot or is planning to get in to the 2020 race, why attack a candidate so low in the ratings, we all respect to Rep, Gabbard's she is not in the top tier and at least she has served her Nation, unlike Bill Clinton or Bush 43 in Vietnam ( let's be be fair, Bush 43 was in the Texas national guard as a flyer and had a uniform).   It is interesting to see from the article that the feud between the two ladies goes back to 2016 when Gabbard supported Senator Sanders, the Clintons NEVER forget or forgive.  If HRC is going to make such statement from the touch line then she should expect to be attacked, if she really thinks the above she should get in to the race, she did win the popular vote in 2016 and did not grandstand over the issue, unlike Al Gore in 2000 over Florida.  Run HRC, the Crown could still be yours.

It will be good to hear the side of the story from Monica Lewinsky, and since is one of the Producers it can be assume it will not be sleazy, no Cigar mentions ( read up on the subject if you must ).  This blog on the whole does not follow crime stories, but since it's the team behind  the murder of Gianni Versace, a taught excellent drama, it is worth a look.  As this blog has stated, it was others who paid the price for Bill Clinton, it can be argued that Al Gore lost the 2000 Election because of the Clinton affair with Lewinsky, in normal course of events, a good economy, the US at peace the voter it was expected to vote for Gore, it did not, well Gore won the popular vote but lost the electoral college vote to Bush 43, when the US Supreme Court decided in essence that Florida had gone for Bush 43.   The course of history was set from 9/11 onwards.  Then in 2016 HRC was the nominee, and she also lost the electoral college vote, with half of the Country wanting to lock her up because of the deleted emails, it was a really shock when Trump won the three States he need to become President.   One of the fears of voters was what would Old Dog do in the White House, that being Bill Clinton.  Thus as stated others paid the costs for Bill.

This is not the the first time a US Vice - President has faced a snub in the Middle East, when VP Biden went to Israel the Israeli Government stated it would build new buildings in East Jerusalem, this did not go down well with the Obama Oval, but then Barack Obama was never on the side of Israel.  Thus the frosty relationship between Obama Oval and the Israeli Government.   The Palestinians never know when to rise a bet or when to fold, they never know when they have won, such as in 2000 under Bill Clinton and then again under Bush 43.   Their is only one solution to the Middle East problem, the Palestinian Authority has to accept a State that is that in name only, they can not have an Army, Air Force, as this would be seen as a threat to Israel, also their borders would have to come under the control of Israel, as to stop Iran sending terrorists in to Israel prober.   This is the HARSH TRUTH no one wants to say in the Middle East.

The Trump Team have not learned from the book episode's of the Reagan Administration, the Gipper faced a few negative books in his last years in Office, he just laughed them off, he never tried to stop them, he just carried on being THE President.   The Clinton Administration had a tough year, and the President just carried on, keeping to his campaign pledge to work for the American people.  President Trump has to show that the negative stories are not getting to him, he should use the Reagan example of just laughing them off, he must show that he is working for the American people.   Let us recall Reagan left office with a 63% job approval rating and his VP become President, while Clinton left with a 66% approval rating.

In this idea President Trump is right, there will never a be a Palestinian State, it was never on the cards no matter what the EU or other Arab leaders want, the State of Israel is a Jewish State and its Capital is Jerusalem, the President has promised this move in the election of 2016, candidate Trump is keeping his word as President.    There have been endless talks on a peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinian people, it has gotten nowhere, there was a chance in 2000 under Bill Clinton but the Palestinian people were stubborn and lost the chance of a State,  it is better to be truthful and real, and in the real World the security of Israel is too important to allow for a Palestinian State. 

HRC BLAMES Obama for 2016 Defeat - Post 2016

Thus far Hillary Clinton has blamed everyone from the FBI to the Russians for her defeat, it is not fair to blame President Obama, this blog had issues with the Obama Administration but it has to be said that President Obama stated his legacy was on the line in 2016 and supported HRC as best he could.   Let's recall that in modern history only one VP has been the successor to his boss, the President, that was Bush 41 who took over from President Reagan.   In 2000 Al Gore the sitting Vice President lost to Bush 41, in 2008 Senator McCain lost to President Obama, and it can be argued that Bill Clinton and Obama are rather good politicians.   It would be interesting to study what President Reagan did different from his successors that allowed his VP to win, a Ph.d of worthy of study.

There is far to easy a joke to this comment by Hillary Clinton, it's called Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, before HRC starts on the President,  there is ANOTHER man she should have  a go at, that is Bill Clinton, the behaviour of Bill Clinton in the late 1990s allowed for Donald Trump.  The argument used by the Clinton team in the 1990s was that the personal behaviour of Bill Clinton did not affect his actions as President.   Thus the Trump Team argued that Trump was a deal maker, and his personal vices did not matter, thus the US voter had taken the lesson of the Clinton team to heart, if you overlook his personal problems, Bill Clinton was a good President, and could have been a great President, he  bought the US out of recession, he solved the the War in Bosnia, and came close to getting a Middle East Peace deal, but his personal failings made sure that his Vice - President, Al Gore did not win the 2000 Election.  Thus in away he helped in the election of Donald Trump.

IF you are interested in politics you will read Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes’s new book on the 2016 Campaign, Shattered, it so popular by book shop had to wait in till it was being sent out again by his stockist.   It can be argued that in modern politics, the elections of 2000 and 2016 are the most interesting, Vice - President Al Gore should have won, the US was at peace the economy was going well, his one problem from his perspective was his boss, President Clinton has just about survived Impeachment, and thus the Gore Campaign wanted some distance from the Candidate Gore and the President.   It has been argued that was a mistake, that Bill Clinton was still popular, and could have helped in the South, but even Gore could not win his own home State, thus he failed to get the Presidency.   In 2016 was the turn of Hillary Clinton, the wife of Bill, former Senator and Secretary of State.  Bill Clinton told her to go after the White Vote, she did not listen, and thus lost the rust belt States.   What ever you think about Bill, he has politics in his blood, he understands the process.  Could HRC give it another try in 2020, never say never!

It was the most shocking ending to a Presidential election since 2000, the candidate that was suppose to win for the 2nd time had lost the election to a businessman who was loathed by half of the Country, just not as loathed as Hillary Clinton was 2016.  The experts the bloggers ALL had HRC winning, the polls had her winning every time.   In the end the US voter decided to shock the press, political elite and elected President Trump.  Of course there was the rumour that HRC would try for Mayor of New York, that would have been 100% election win, but after you lose the Presidency twice, once to Obama now Trump it must be hard to think that Mayor of New York would be the solution, you would be held by New Yorkers to make sure their bins were emptied, it hardly having the nuclear suitcase by you at all time.   The question is what now for HRC, could she run again in 2020, it would be tall order, and there is saying in US politics that there are no third acts in a political career. This blog would not count HRC out, after all we have a Trump Presidency.

The 2016 US Presidential Election will go down in history, it was not meant to end like it did, it recalls that famous photo of President Truman showing the headline from a newspaper that stated that he had lost the election, he of course had won.   In 1960 there was the close election between Kennedy and Nixon, and the iffy ballots in two States, in 2000 Gore should have won but he lost Florida and did not win his own home State.   In 2016 nearly ALL the polls showed that Hillary Clinton would win, and become the first woman President.  Well in the end Trump won the rust belt States.  As a contributor on CNN stated that DATA does not vote, the Clinton Campaign thought it understood the election process and how to engage the voter, through tracking mass data, it was bad mistake to make.   The LIBERAL LEFT will always blame the Russians, or the FBI, what they can not see and refuse to see is the FACT that HRC was a bloody bad candidate, she thought she was owed the Oval Office by right, in fact the US voter said NO, and they said that NO in the rust belt States, thus the electoral college win of Trump.

The chance that the recounts will change the result are slim, but it is important to check, the election shows that Trump does not have a great mandate to change the course, of course it can be argued that election of Trump itself is a mandate, these kind of rhetoric debates can go on till forever.   The Republicans as is their right have the right to challenge these recounts, it would be SAD if the result came from the Courts, as in 2000 election.

Recount Process Part 3 - Trump vs. Stein - Trump Era

IF recall 2000 election you are starting to see the re-forming of the patterns that lead to that contested election, thus do not be taken aback when this case goes ALL the way up to the US Supreme Court, of course the COURT is tied, thus the last Court decision will stand, depends if the Judge is a Republican or Democratic appointment.   If all else fails the process moves to the House, as the Republicans control the House they will give the Presidency to Trump.   If your a political geek you will love this process, it could take weeks, well in to the New Year. Nothing is EVER over in US politics.

The Democrats and the left has to keep supporting the recounts efforts in the three rust belt States, you never know, and there is chance it MIGHT change the result.  There about 13 days to go before the electoral college meets, A chance of a Clinton victory looks slim, but you have to try, the thought of Trump in power after January 20th 2017 should cause even the most quiet person to be worried, so count States, and let us cross our fingers in hope.

Pennsylvania - Recount Requested - Trump Era?

CNN - Politics: Reports " Former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein also announced Monday that her supporters had filed a legal petition on behalf of 100 voters in Pennsylvania seeking a recount in that state. "

Lets Get Real:

Each State has its own rules, the biggest problem for Jill Stein will be Michigan, in that State the winner can object to the recount, this means a move to the Courts.   Of course the hard deadline is 13 December, any recount has to be done by then, the Courts can not overturn that Federal law.   Of course as stated by this blog we could see the decision thrown into the Court system, each State has different rules and voting machines.   If your a political junkie and no fan of the Trump you're loving this, while of course the Trum is forming his Administration.

Lets Get Real:

President Obama is protecting his legacy, it would look BAD if the Russians had hacked the electoral system and that Oval Office did not know, thus this break between Obama and Clinton.   The Clinton Campaign is throwing this dice just in case it can win, losing is never good, and let us get real here, the HRC would make a better President that Trump, she is a hawk on Syria and Russia, while Trump has been soft on Russia and Putin.   It will give the 24 hour TV news channels something to cover for the next few weeks, American elections never end!!
