The Biden Oval if it going to run should do people events, get POTUS to speak to people, with no teleprompter is sight, also do press conferences, it might work, or not, but the security of the US and Western Europe is at stake, this means Biden or a Democratic nominee has to win.  Also lets recall that Biden and Trump have a 2nd debate in September, not so sure that is a good idea, we shall see, POTUS is playing it long like Clinton did in 1998, can he get through the next couple of months, that is the question, the fate of the US, Western Europe and the Ukraine might depend on it, this blog is surprised that Russia has not tried something on the Baltic States or China with Taiwan, North Korea has done some missile tests, but nothing to cause WW3 in Asia.  A befuddled President is a prize not taken, if this blog was the leaders of Russia, China, North Korea, or Iran it would try something to see the reaction from the Biden Oval.

This is a big win for Trump, the various Federal Cases will be affected, we wait to see what the Courts and Prosecutors so with the case, the general opinion is that the Court cases will start after the election, of course Trump as President could pull them if elected.   This Judgement by the Supreme Court does ask a few Questions of Presidential history, lets look at the examples, was JFK and the CIA'S attempt to kill Castro in the early 1960s was that official or Kennedy's need for revenge after the Bay of Pigs.  Then we move to 1968, was Nixon's sabotage of the Paris Peace Talks, semi official as he become President or private action that should have seen him Court.   Let's forget that LBJ bugged Nixon with the help of the FBI,  was the legal, its an open question, then we go to Nixon again in 1972 with Watergate, it can be presume that Nixon after the LBJ files on the Paris Peace Talks.  Thus would Nixon have had to resign in 1974.  The next case in Iran - Contra of the late1980s, it was Reagan's believe that the Contra freedom fighters had to be supported, after the Congress cut off official aid, he wanted the Contra fighters funded, no matter what it took, thus a diversion of funds to the Contra's.   As with JFK, there is doubt if Reagan knew this was happening, even if he did, it would not matter as it was official policy by Reagan to fight communism. In 1998 we have Bill Clinton, this was a private affair and thus the President would not have been immune from the Courts.   It seems the Court would have agreed with Nixon.   Interesting Court days ahead!!

THE US political system is failing, has it come down this, once out of the White House, the Opposition Party will try to impeach the President, Trump wants them to do this because he was impeach twice by the Democrats, thus he wants pay back.  It can argued that the Democrats went over board with impeaching Trump twice, once over the Ukraine and over the riot in the Capital of JANUARY 6th.   Thus we have mostly Democratic Prosecutors going after Trump in the Courts.  Thus the Republicans want a counter event, the impeachment of a President, does this blog think that Biden is a crook, no just a loving father who cares about his only living son.  The inquiry will unearth any scandal.  Thus might force Biden in to not running in 2024, you can never tell.   A poor day for the US political system.   But then politics is as it has always been a blood sport when the adults are out of the room.  Bill Clinton got impeach because of his affair, while Bush 43 was never impeached over the idea of the Iraq War in 2003, no WMD in Iraq.  It is reported that the Biden Oval has set up a WAR ROOM like the Clinton to deal with any allegation, lets recall that Clinton was impeached, is the Clinton example you should be using, the long political war starts.

The WEST and in this case the US as leader of the WEST should place an embargo on ALL RUSSIAN GOODS, the Russians economy is being hurt with the sanctions but it has not forced the people on to the streets to protest, after the August Coup of 1991 the Russian people got on to the street and protested, and they WON, in 1917 there was the Russian Revolution because WW1 had gone WRONG for Imperial Russia. That lead to a default by Russia, there was a technical default in 1998 but then the IMF saved the Russian bacon, they will not this time. The Russian people have to be forced on to the street, there should be no WESTERN IMPORTS in to Russia, the Russians should see empty shelves, for older Russians it should bring back memories of the  old USSR.  Putin wants to take Russia back to his glory days of the OLD USSR, well we should help him, STOP ALL TRADE with Russia, force the Russian people to start asking questions about the WAR IN THE UKRAINE and get them out on the street to protest, large crowds, to overwhelm the Russian system.

The Russians have defaulted twice before, in 1917 due to the Russian Revolution and in 1998, that was more a technical default and the Russians were bailed out by the IMF then, not this time, and of course it would help the WEST to see Russia default, the West has to place pressure on the Russian people, make their daily lives irksome and difficult, get them out on the street to demonstrate against Putin and his regime.  It will be interesting to see WHAT PUTIND does, he has threatened  to take over the business's that have LEFT Russia due to the Ukraine invasion, that would be a disaster for Russia, than would mean that the WEST could not trust a future Russian Government and the Russian economy would take a hard kick, thus a depression in the long term.  That is why Putin might not take over these industries that have LEFT, he wants to get Russian back to his normal.   The Russian people are going to pay for the action of Putin and Regime, the Ukraine could be his downfall as World War 1 was the downfall of Tsar Nicholas 11 of Russia.

That could cause a problem for Biden, he is caught in a box, he has denied the allegation, in  a very firm manner, unlike Bill Clinton, he spoke and acted truthful.  If the Senate won't release such information and the University in which Biden placed in private papers won't release them either, how do you prove a negative.  The Republicans with no shame, will drag this out through the general election,  at present Trump has kept out of the affair, just stating the he has been accused in the past.  How long will that ceasefire last, POTUS if he can will drag the issue through the general election, if it is a choice of winning or losing, then Trump will go all the way to WIN.

What is it with Democrats Presidents or Candidates, they either  have affairs which were not reported at the time, FDR, JFK, Bill Clinton ( exposed in 1998 ) or are accused of sexual assault, Bill Clinton again and now Joe Biden.  The liberal elite left hold Republicans or Republican officials to double standards, they are seen as guilty while Democrats are given a pass as they support liberal causes, such as abortion.   The Trump Campaign or its supporters will use the allegation against Biden, never made that women have made sexual assault allegations against President Trump.  It will be interesting to see if the extreme liberal press follow this story, one assumes they will try to bury the story, Biden is their only hope in 2020.

POTUS on being Impeached - Election 2020

The White House: States: "Today marks the culmination in the House of one of the most shameful political episodes in the history of our Nation.  Without receiving a single Republican vote, and without providing any proof of wrongdoing, Democrats pushed illegitimate articles of impeachment against the President through the House of Representatives.  Democrats have chosen to proceed on this partisan basis in spite of the fact that the President did absolutely nothing wrong.  Indeed, weeks of hearings have proved that he did nothing wrong.

Throughout the House Democrats’ entire sham impeachment, the President was denied fundamental fairness and due process under the law.  The House blatantly ignored precedent and conducted the inquiry in secrecy behind closed doors so that Chairman Adam Schiff and his partisan political cronies could selectively leak information to their partners in the media to push a false narrative.

When public hearings were held before Chairman Schiff’s committee, Democrats continued their games and denied the President the ability to cross-examine witnesses or present witnesses or evidence.  The proceedings in the Judiciary Committee included no fact witnesses at all and consisted solely of a biased law seminar and a staffer rehashing the slanted report that was produced by Chairman Schiff’s rigged proceeding.  This unconstitutional travesty resulted in two baseless articles of impeachment that lack any support in evidence and fail even to describe any impeachable offense.

All of these antics make clear that Democrats have lost sight of what this country needs, which is a Congress that works for the people.  Their boundless animus for President Trump fuels their desire to nullify the 2016 election results, and improperly influence the 2020 election.

The American people are not fooled by this disgraceful behavior.  They understand fairness, due process, and substantial, reliable evidence are required before any American should be charged with wrongdoing—and certainly before impeaching a duly elected President.

The President is confident the Senate will restore regular order, fairness, and due process, all of which were ignored in the House proceedings.  He is prepared for the next steps and confident that he will be fully exonerated.  President Trump will continue to work tirelessly to address the needs and priorities of the American people, as he has since the day he took office. "

One gets the impression that POTUS will take his revenge on the Democrats for this foolish overreaction by them when it comes to the Ukraine, he might VETO every Bill they want, make them understand as President he make their lives difficult.  Who can blame him, at least Nixon and Clinton deserved to be impeached, the Democrats have been looking to take revenge on Trump for beating HRC in 2016, it will be OPEN WARFARE now in Washington, Trump likes to COUNTER PUNCH, there are a lot more rounds to go before this story ends.

By the time impeachment process is finished one can postulate that Trump will use the impeachment as positive, while Democrats will be running away from the process. This is what happens when a political party allows the extremes to take charge, Speaker Pelosi could not say NO this group in fear that she would lose their support to remain Speaker, thus the impeachment is a short term answer to a bigger problem, the Democrats hate POTUS, what will they do next when he does something really wrong, they can hardly impeach him a 2nd time, the Republican Base will not support POTUS even more, a silly process with a silly end result.

Thus the Democratic held House WILL impeached Trump before Christmas and then it goes to the Senate, the Senate is run by the Republicans, they will not convict and thus Trump will be declared innocent of ALL CHARGES and the Democrats have just handed Trump a 2nd term.   The last impeachment was in 1998, when the Republican House impeached Bill Clinton and he was found not guilty in the Senate, in the 2000 elections the Republicans lost Seats in the House and Vice - President Gore had to pay the political cost for Bill Clinton by losing to Bush 43.

Always read the documents when it comes to a case of impeachment.  The 24/7 news networks always hype what they want the viewers to know, that goes from CNN to Fox News. Always make up your own mind, an impeachment process should take a year and have endless Committee meetings, the Democrats want it over in 8 weeks, whenever someone tries to push for this something this fast, you always have to ask why?  Are they afraid that the charge will not hold up, also the Democrats do not want the process to overtake the Democratic race for the nomination.  Even with Iran Contra, the Gipper was lucky, it came at the end of November, after the 1986 Mid Terms, and the hearings did not last that long, the special prosecutor at the end did not achieve much and Bush 41 pardoned the main actors in the fair, the Gipper could transfer the problem to his successor, and not have deal with any pardon issues, kept his hands clean, a great politician. 

*After reading the whistleblower complaint I am not impressed, a lot of 2nd hand knowledge, and lot open press reports, if this is ALL the Democrats have got, they are in trouble.  The Congressional hearings better have something more, or the Democrats are going to look like fools and this blog does not even like POTUS.

In 1974 Richard Nixon only agreed to resign when the Republicans in the US Senate told him it was over, if this had not happened the history could have been different.   Also the polls for Nixon were bad, it was the reverse for Bill Clinton, the US voter did not think that Clinton deserved to be impeached because of an affair and he was found not guilty by a Republican US Senate.   As long as Trump can keep the defections to a few Senators up for re-election in 2020 he will be all right.  Of course if House hearings next week can push the story along, then there might be a difference, does the White House hold other compromising transcripts of Trump with other State leaders.   This blog would be interested to read the transcript of the talks between Trump and Putin, one would assume that the Trump White House will fight tooth and nail to keep them quiet.  It is going to be dramatic week next week.

It will be good to hear the side of the story from Monica Lewinsky, and since is one of the Producers it can be assume it will not be sleazy, no Cigar mentions ( read up on the subject if you must ).  This blog on the whole does not follow crime stories, but since it's the team behind  the murder of Gianni Versace, a taught excellent drama, it is worth a look.  As this blog has stated, it was others who paid the price for Bill Clinton, it can be argued that Al Gore lost the 2000 Election because of the Clinton affair with Lewinsky, in normal course of events, a good economy, the US at peace the voter it was expected to vote for Gore, it did not, well Gore won the popular vote but lost the electoral college vote to Bush 43, when the US Supreme Court decided in essence that Florida had gone for Bush 43.   The course of history was set from 9/11 onwards.  Then in 2016 HRC was the nominee, and she also lost the electoral college vote, with half of the Country wanting to lock her up because of the deleted emails, it was a really shock when Trump won the three States he need to become President.   One of the fears of voters was what would Old Dog do in the White House, that being Bill Clinton.  Thus as stated others paid the costs for Bill.

CNN has been pushing impeachment since the Mueller Report came it, the problem is that voters on the whole seem disinterested, you have the fanatical liberals who just want to impeach, the wiser heads the LEADERSHIP establishment know what happened to the Republicans when they impeached Bill Clinton 1998, they lost seats in the Mid Terms of that year.  Speaker Pelosi after getting her old job back does not want to lose it because some political fanatics just want political porn, the House with a Democratic majority could impeach, the question is will a new members from Conservative States support the move, could it lead to a split within the Democratic Party.   If the Democrats do impeach, it could be a bonus for POTUS, he could argue that the Mueller Report and the US Attorney General found his innocent of collusion and obstruction of justice and that liberals have gone more unhinged after that.   Even if the House does pass Articles of Impeachment, the Senate will say NO, then POTUS will be found innocent.   Then Trump will tarnish those Democrats running for President who support the move. This could lead to the Republicanas retaking the House and keeping the Oval Office.  ARE THE DEMOCRATS THAT STUPID.

It is Easter, only political nerds like this blog will read most of the Mueller Report, most normal people will take their news from their trusted source as stated before.   This blog is no great fan of Trump, in fact this blog supported HRC in 2016, spinning for the Clintons was ironic to say the least.  This blog wants POTUS to be treated as you would treat other President, otherwise you have MOB RULE, depending on who is in power.  The Vice President has already called for an investigation of the investigators, to see if the Mueller investigation was lawful.   The Democrats in the House will be pushed by their very liberal base to impeach Trump, and then the Republican Senate will find him not guilty.  In 2020 the Democrats could LOSE the House and the Democratic nominee will have to defend the actions of the House, thus creating more points for the Trump to hit the Dem nominee.  Where are the grown ups?, when in 1968 during the Presidential election LBJ found that Nixon was sabotaging his peace talks with North Vietnam he did not make it public, he could see a crisis developing from the release of this information.   The Republicans and the Democrats have become petty and are owned by the base, we need another Reagan in the Oval Office, a President that could unite the US.

The Trump White House better get ready for more demands from the Democrats House Committees, the Trump Oval should remind them that Watergate took 2 years before Nixon resigned, and the Monica Lewinsky scandal took a year.   It can be expected that the President will invoke Executive Privilege on matters that he thinks he can get away with, the US Courts will be VERY BUSY, of course all the cases will end up at the Supreme Court, this is not 1974, the majority of the Judges are Conservatives, very much like 1998, when the Court allowed the civil case against President Clinton to go on.   The question is will they allow the fishing attempt by the Democrats or will they say that the reason that POTUS is the most powerful man in the World is because he is POWERFUL, the Congress is his equal in domestic terms but not his boss, also the US Senate controlled by Republicans WILL NEVER IMPEACH Trump, they are to afraid of their own voters for that.   If the Democrats were clever they would get the information out before 2020 and allow the US voter to decide otherwise it will look like a hoax and a WITCH HUNT, the Democrats are going after everything, the voter will be asking what about the DOMESTIC AGENDA.  Liberals are really foolish.

THIS is really the end of the Clinton Era for the Democrats, the Clintons have been the nominee or running since 1992.   Of course Bill Clinton become President in 1992, beating Bush 41, while in 1996 he beat the WW2 war hero, Senator Bob Dole.   In 2008 HRC was seen as the presumptive Democratic Nominee, but then Senator Barack Obama came along, he appointed HRC as his first Secretary of State, then HRC in 2016 won the Democratic Nomination beating Senator Bernie Sanders, it was expected that she would easily beat Donald Trump, her defeat was the most shocking since 1948, when President Truman was written off by the press.   One must ask why HRC is not running, it can be postulated that she has seen the Democratic Party go to the LEFT, and if she did run she might not get out of the Primary races, also former VP Biden expected to run in 2020.  Thus the ERA of the Clinton as a power within the Democratic Party has come to the end, one wonders what they will do to fill up their time, one would presume, write books, do speeches, support Democratic candidates, do charity work, that is a major LET DOWN from the Presidency.   HRC could blame Bill Clinton for defeat in 2016, when President Clinton was being impeached the Democrats argued that his personal actions did not hinder his official role, well that has made it easier for Donald Trump, a billionaire and TV reality star to become President, the voters had accepted that the personal life of political leaders did not matter, it is what they could do for them when it came their personal lives that mattered.  Thus Bill Clinton did not pay a legal cost for his impeachment, the political cost was paid by his Vice President Al Gore in 2000 and HRC in 2016.

The Democrats have learned nothing from the impeachment of Bill Clinton in 1998, it was seen as partisan, the Republicans using anything to get Bill Clinton, there was NO Democratic support for the move in 1998, and Clinton was acquitted by the US Senate.  The extreme LEFT of the Democratic Party wants this move, one would have thought that Speaker Pelosi would have stopped this move, voters will ask why the Democrats are doing this silly thing when they want their political leaders to deal with domestic issues.   IF the Mueller Reports does NOT FIND collusion between the Trump Campaign and Russia it will be a MAJOR LET DOWN for the Democrats.   By the way collusion is not illegal, sharing polling information is not a CRIME, if it was most pols and reports would be in jail.   This blog has been clear about what it thinks of President Trump, but it can be objective, the Democratic Committees fishing trips could HELP get POTUS re-elected in 2020, in less there is evidence that POTUS colluded with Russians or gained financial support from them over the years, the US voter will believe that POTUS was right when he called the Mueller report a hoax on the US voter.  Sometimes LIBERALS are really stupid.
