Either the sides have REAL talks or its all out War again.  Of course both sides could be bluffing, a TACO President and a divided Tehran Regime.  The US will have no better chance to take out the Iranian Regime before it gets Nukes, the lesson of North Korea should be in the minds of policy makers in the Trump Administration, US Administrations before Trump failed to stop North Korea, thus the threat to Asia and the World today.  Thus who will blink first in this stand off, more likely Trump, he wants out of the WAR before the Mid Terms in November, Trump is always chicken.

This is the major issue for the US and Europe, a nuclear armed Iran cannot happen, this has been US policy for many US Adminstrations and Europe.  Tehran with the bomb would be another North Korea, the theocracy could strangle the Western Economy at any time through blocking the Strait of Hormuz, and the World could not do anything as Tehran would have the bomb and long range missiles as a shield.  This cannot be allowed to happen.

This is POTUS wobbling, as stated in the article Trump thinks that Iran wants a Deal as it understands the consequences of not making a deal.   IN the view of Trump Tehran does not want another War like the 12 day WAR last year.  This Trump appeasing Tehran, the theocracy know now that if they appear to give concessions, then Trump will fold like a cheap suit.  The World will face an Iran crisis within a few years, Iran will have the bomb and West cannot do a thing, like North Korea.

Update:  BBC News reports that the talks between the US and Iran have finished, the articles states the following, " Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said the two countries had reached an understanding on the main "guiding principles", but work still needs to be done.  " This is the Iranian side taking the US to the cleaners, their Chief Negotiator has written a book on the art of a deal, everyone these days thinks they are Donald Trump.  It will be interesting to see what the US side say about the talks, as they are appeasing, they will be positive, the talks with go on endlessly, the Tehran Regime is good at that, and Trump is such an easy mark as they say in the con game.

It seems that North Korea wants to make  a double impression, the US has sent a Aircraft Carrier to the region for military games with South Korea, and the North wants to make an impression, also there is the Presidential Debate coming up on Friday, they might want to draw the attention of US voters to the crisis developing in Asia.  The US voters should not be shocked if there are other actions by the North Korea, before the US election in November, they might try something during the debate itself, force to the candidates to deal with the issue of North Korea.  Thus far only Donald Trump has visited North Korea, they leaders met on the DMZ, after that the talks become frosty. Thus North Korea might be trying to help Donald Trump.

This could be the most important story of the day, the West knowns that Russia is getting ammunition from North Korea for its WAR with the Ukraine, in return it is though that Russia is helping North gain ICBM ability.   It could be worry if North Korea was to send troops to the Ukraine as stated in the above article, or that Russia could help North Korea should it try action with South Korea.   As stated many times in this blog and by other, we could be on the road of 1930s again, the Italian, Nazi Germany and Japan pact or the Nazi - Soviet Pact, other centres of power to the West.  At some point Putin is going to try his luck for a quick win in the Ukraine or to divert attention an attack on the Baltic States.    The decision could be down to who wins in November in the United States, a Trump win could be a clear signal for Putin to try something, or a weak Biden under the eye of a Republican Congress.  International Politics is always on the move.

The Tehran Regime would be MAD to strike Israel or the US, anything that combine these forces would cause a major threat to the Tehran Regime.   The US might take the chance to remove the threat of a nuclear Iran.  One can expect an increase in low level attacks by rockets and drones, on US bases and Israel.   The Israeli Government should be on ALERT for such an attack, the same goes for the US.  The Biden Oval might see the political benefits of attacking Iran, it would help Biden in November and it would be warning to China, Russia, North Korea, to be very careful in what they do.  One doubts that the assassinations in Syria will lead to a wider regional war, the Axis of Evil is to weak to take on the US at the moment.
