Sir Keir Starmer to meet President Zelensky - Trump47

Lets Get Real:

It will take all the PM's skills to fix the disaster of the meeting between POTUS and President Zelensky.  It is about managing ego's, the biggest will be Trump's, a man child, who likes to be told he is great and everyone else is rubbish.  At the next meeting between POTUS and President Zelensky, Sir Keir should attend, to keep the peace.  The road to WW3 might have started already!

5.25pm Update: President Zelensky arrives at 10 Downing Street, he gets a hug from Sir Keir.  This will not go down well in the Oval.  Trump is very thin skinned, anything can set him off.  President Zelensky will see the King tomorrow.   Let's hope that Sir Keir knows how to play Trump.

Russia is bluffing, Putin has won with the election of Trump in the US, he just has to wait out Biden, so whatever the Ukraine does, Russia will have to take it, who loses the WAR when they have in the long term won the war.  Biden will make Trump 47 the biggest appeaser in history, he will sacrifice the Ukraine because of his ego.  ONE hopes that the Ukraine goes down fighting, they will be stabbed in the back by Trump47's America, AND Europe starting with Germany who will appease Putin.  Thus we shall see a Greater Russia formed, Putin will want more, like Hitler, we are on the road to WW3

The article points out that a hundred thousand troops from North Korea could support the Russians in the Ukraine WAR, POTUS has left it late, can the Ukraine STOP Russia and North Korea before they become active, these missiles could help,  they would have helped months ago, Biden met Trump47, it was a 2 hour meeting, one assumes North Korea came up, either their nuclear facilities or North Korea helping our Russia, an allay of theirs.  THE Russians have promised WW3 in reaction, sabre rattling again from the Kremlin, Putin is a coward, he knows that it could lead to WW3,  cowards run not fight.

This is out of Stalin's playbook, God knows were the people have been sent and if they can ever come back, the poor Mariupol has been bombed, 90% destroyed, the Russian even bombed a maternity hospital and claimed that Ukraine forces were there, NOT TRUE, as footage showed after the bombing.  The Russians are NOW fighting street to street, that is not helping in the rescue of 1,300 people from a bombed theatre, if any CITY represents the suffering of Ukraine it is Mariupol, the Russians are not showing ANY mercy to fellow Slavs, they are destroying a CITY to save the CITY.  The West must do more, but not enough to start WW3, that is tricky, the suffering of the people gets WORSE, at some point Putin will go to FAR and the West will have to react, dangerous times ahead.

One can only hope that Putin is following Nixon's Mad Man Theory, trying to make the WEST very nervous, if not Putin might have just lost it, would he really go for nuclear war over the Ukraine, the more tension he creates the chance of a mistake, one assumes that the US will go to defcon 3, nuclear alert status, just to be on the safe side.  When the Russian economy goes down the toilet on Monday because of the economic sanctions, what will Putin do, will he threaten the use of nuclear weapons if the West does not reverse itself, it has to be a worry.  As for the WEST it has to stand tall, this might be IT, we might have to say to Putin, Go F**** Yourself, we will not be bullied, and its up to him if he wants WORLD WAR 3.  The next few hours and days will be very tense, we have our own Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, when JFK sold out Turkey to get the USSR to remove it nuclear missiles from Cuba and Operation Able Archer of 1983 when the Kremlin thought that a military exercise for NATO was a cover for a real American First Strike, when President Reagan was informed he stated in his diaries that  the USSR had nothing the US wanted and he changed his Cold War rhetoric , and we have Joe Biden as President, God help us, at least we know if it came down to it, Boris Johnson would press the red button, will POTUS? .

Lets Get Real:

The main news is that Russia has been thrown out of SWIFT, this will really HURT RUSSIA, they will react, if this had been done a week ago it might have prevented Putin taking this course of WAR.   The next couple couple hours the brave people of Kiev will face horror through missile strikes, artillery fire, tanks firing, one can only hope that they can get through this LATEST horror.  The Kremlin wants a quick win, and it is not getting it, the Russia  News is under the power of the Kremlin, they report what the Kremlin wants, one hopes people get their information from other other source and come out to protest.  It is fair to say that Putin has LOST THE PLOT.  Also how will the West re-arm the Kiev Government and other Ukraine Forces, by road or air, tense few hours ahead, one hopes that Kiev can resist the on coming horror.

HOW is the US and other supporters going to get the military support to the Kiev Government, they either go on road or by plan drops, one can assume that the Russians will NOT BE HAPPY with either, what happens if the Russians try to stop such support, will the Troops or Air Force have the authority to shoot back, yes that could very well start WW3. On the other hand this cold be IT, if we do not take Putin on here, where is next, Poland the Baltic States, as has been stated by a few people, Putin could have gone nuts, or is he is following the Nixon Mad Man Theory, keep the other side off balance, Nixon did that with the bombing of Cambodia in the early 1970s.  One does not think that Putin is that good a actor, so one has to take the view that he has gone mad with that so power for all those years.  One hopes the brave people of Ukraine fight on, make Russia bleed for this ACT OF WAR.

The UK MOD states that the main Russian force it outside KYIV, there are reports of a few troops in the Capital itself.  One can assume they are Russian Special Forces going after the Ukraine President.  As military expert on Sky News has stated, the Ukraine Forces will have a choice, EITHER fight the Russians head on or go guerrilla or insurgency, that would be the best choice, a head to head fight with the main Russian Forces can only have one victor, Putin, thus the Ukraine forces have to retreat to start an insurgency, get the Russians to commit to coming to the centre of KYIV and then take them out from the various building.  Of course he Russian might try to surround the CAPITAL, and cut off food and water to the population.  The problem with that is that it takes time, the West has stated it will support the Ukraine Government with arms and weapons, that could force the West to send airdrops in to Kiev as to supply the army and feed the population, that could lead to WORLD WAR 3.  The people of the Ukraine are brave, the WEST has to support them, it could be POLAND or the BALTIC STATES next.

The WEST has sold the Ukraine down the river, the Ukraine is the Czechoslovakia of 1938/39.  As with both cases, we end up at the Polish border, thank goodness Poland is part of NATO and the other Countries around at it.  Putin will not stop at Poland, Putin is the modern Hitler, the temptation will be too much for him, he wants the former USSR back or at least Imperial Russia.  The West will not even banish Russia from SWIFT, this allows the transaction of money around the WORLD.  It can be postulated that either France or Germany refused, it would make sense if it was Germany, they get a majority of their gas from Russia.   The West will have to support a Ukraine Government in exile in the West, also feed any insurgency in the Ukraine, the West should and the Ukraine rebels should make Russia bleed, the Russian Army is too big for Ukraine to take on, but after the WAR finishes, the Ukraine forces should build an insurgency that makes the Ukraine to HOT for Russia.  Sad say for the West, the modern Neville Chamberlain's are President Biden of the US and UK PM Johnson, when will we get a Churchill.

Finally the Biden Oval has woken up, thus the LEADER of the FREE WORLD, should start with heavy sanctions, one that hits Putin's rich friends but also the poor people of Russia, the kind of sanctions that make people weep.  Russia should be forced out of the Western economy, make trading with Russia the last thing any wants to do, one has to take one's hat off to Germany, the blocked the GAS PIPELINE between Russia and Germany, brave move as Germany gets a lot of gas from Russia.  Thus once the US takes HARSH ACTION, then the rest of the West will follow, let's make Putin think again by this latest adventure, it might stop him, if that does not work then the West has to support a massive insurgency in the Ukraine against the Russians, make them send a lot of body bags back to Russia, make Russian mothers weep.  This might get Russian people on the street and demonstrating against the Putin Regime.  IT is sad, but might be needed.

UK Sanctions on Russian 2nd Invasion of East Ukraine - Ukraine Crisis

This blog is giving the UK PM the benefit doubt on this, these are initial sanctions, other harsh sanctions will be used if Putin goes in to the rest of the Ukraine.  It has been a very busy 24 hours, the Russians recognized the two separate regions of East Ukraine as independent  countries and to use their term, sent in peacekeepers in to these regions.  Putin in a 57 minute speech stated that the Ukraine was never a real country and stated it was part of Russia.  Thus one can expect further action by Putin, will he go after the rest of East Ukraine that is under the control of the Kiev Government, that would force the US to take further sanctions on Russia. The Biden Oval has to ask, does it want Russian forces that close to a NATO Country, in this case Poland.  Let's recall that World War 2 started with the German invasion of Poland in 1939.  As stated in this blog, Putin is following the Hitler case study on warfare.  The next two days will be very interesting.

As the article notes we shall see if the talks going on between the US and Russia are real talks or just a reason that Putin will use to invade the Ukraine.  If the Russians WALK after not getting what they want we will know that Putin has made his mind up to invade the Ukraine.   Also Kiev and NATO Countries will be watching out in case Biden does a Neville Chamberlain and appeases Putin, will he sell out the Ukraine and other Eastern NATO Members of NATO, after Afghanistan, the Biden Oval cannot be trusted, he has shown that he is weak and feckless and does not keep the WORD of former US Presidents, as Ronald Reagan stated in his diaries, Biden is a demagogue and has sold out the moderate voters who voted for him in 2020 to appeal to the HARD LEFT.  Interesting week in international politics.

This COULD be true, this would mean either Putin is waiting for the January talks to FAIL, the West cannot agree to demands, that the Ukraine can never join NATO and the removal of NATO forces from Easter Europe States in NATO.  Then invade by claiming to the Russian people that he has tried and this is the only option left to him OR this could be a faint, troops removed from the BORDER can always be returned to the border.  This blog wants to see Independent reporting of these troops removal, not the Russian Military.  Also it has to thought possible that Putin has blinked, aka Russians in 1962, that was the impression, before it was discovered decades later that President Kennedy had his brother Robert F. Kennedy inform the Russian Ambassador that the missiles in Turkey would be removed six months later, but it would be a secret and if it came out the US would say it was not true.  Later the USSR tried to give a letter to the President that had the plan written out, the Oval refused to take it. The way Putin is going he will have to invade Ukraine or look WEAK to the Russian people, he is making demands of the West that NO US President could even think of doing, this is not 1962 and JFK selling out Turkey over the Cuban Missiles in Cuba, the Kremlin wants a legal TREATY that would prevent the Ukraine joining NATO or for the Easter Countries in NATO to have any NATO soldiers or equipment on their soil.  Any talks with PUTIN would have to have NATO and Allied Countries represented at such a meeting, this would include the Ukraine, that is why Putin just wants a meeting between himself and Biden.  This blog thought Putin was just playing gamers, the Russia Army has been told it will not have Christmas off, that will be in the NEW YEAR, the Russian New Year is a few weeks after the Western New Year.   Thus it can be postulated that Putin really means to invade the Ukraine, even take the whole of the Ukraine and not just the EASTER Russian part.  One hopes Biden is up to the job, or the World might be in REAL TROUBLE in few weeks.

As the article notes the Russians are asking for concessions that cannot be given by ANY Wester Leader without charges of APPEASMENT being thrown up and being compared to Neville Chamberlain, his name still carries a stigma, it took some effort to get the House of Commons to agree to calling a TEA ROOM after him, no leader wants to be on the same page as appeasement, and POTUS at the present time is very down in the polls and behind closed doors the Democrats are suggesting he wont run in  2024 and who should be the nominee, after Afghanistan and his domestic agenda being stalled in the US Senate, the Biden Era might be very short, of course who is going to tell him, which men/women in grey suits will tell Biden it is OVER.  The Biden mantle would be handed to VP Harris, her poll ratings are even WORSE, so the Democrats will be looking for a new LEADER.  Thus Biden cannot afford to look WEAK if he wants to run for a 2nd term, recent match up polls have Trump beating him, and even those that voted for Biden have started to have regrets, thus any weakness on Russia would break the Biden chance for re-election.

The PRESSURE must be kept on Putin, he has to understand the FACT that the West could topple the Russian economy and his rich friends will not like that, in fact if it goes WRONG, the President Russia could go back to being a taxi driver, it seems from a recent report that Putin in the 1990s had to become a TAXI driver, one would think no customer ever short change Mr KGB.   This is the time for Western bankers to remind their Russian clients that they could be badly effected by harsh sanctions on Russia, and their assets could be FROZEN.   The West has to keep the integrity of the Ukraine and not sell out as in 1938 when it came to the Czechs  and after the end of the Second World War when Stalin gained Eastern Europe under his control.  The MOMENT Russian invades the Ukraine, the Western banking system has to freeze the RUSSIANS out, even need be the sanctions should HURT the Russian people, make them question Putin and his WARS.  Late January will be very interesting!

Ever since the CRIMEA, the World has been a NEW COLD WAR 2, Putin by his actions and words has shown that the ruthless dictator, who kills his opposition or places them in jail on fake charges, the fake news of Russia has already stated that the Ukraine IS a THREAT TO RUSSIA, that is so false as to be funny, but we are dealing with serious actors when it comes to the Putin Regime.  The West, in this case the US and NATO Allies have one chance to prevent a regional war in Eastern Europe, they must place NATO TROOPS in the Ukraine and say to the Russians, this and no further.  If not that the US and the UK must give the Ukraine military equipment that allows the Ukraine Forces the ability to slow down the Russian progress in the Ukraine.  The West has to make RUSSIA bleed on the battle field and also when it comes to economics, bring Russia to its knees fast.

One can postulate that President Putin will laugh this off, as stated, HE and RUSSIA are already under sanction, the G7 was formally the G8 before Putin was thrown OUT over the Crimea invasion.  The only thing that Putin and Russia understands is STRENGH, and POTUS and the West has shown GREAT WEAKNESS when faced with Putin.  If the West was really serious it would draw a red line in the Ukraine and place NATO COMBAT TROOPS on the ground, this would warn off the Russians, but no feeble sanctions are the only threat to Russia.  The Russian people will be hurt but it can be postulated that they will support THEIR President against the West, they have been forced feet lies from print to TV and social media.  Putin is not stupid, the question is can he cover up body bags coming back from the Ukraine, a invasion of the Ukraine will be hard to hide even in Russia.  If only Biden was JFK or Reagan, this would not happen, fear goes a long way with the Russians.

The Russians are building up a big force to invade the Ukraine or give the impression that they are about invade, the Russians want a legal agreement that says that NATO will not allow the Ukraine to become a member and does not place NATO equipment on NATO members close to Russia.  It had been reported that Biden had sold out Ukraine, very much like Chamberlain in 1938, but this was denied by the Biden White House and the Ukraine has followed that line.   As noted in this blog, Putin has given the Russians Soldiers the New Year OFF, but hey will be on duty on Christmas Day,  this could be mean that Russian might invade late this year, as the Russian New Year comes later, this means that the Ukraine has to be on ALERT, well it is always on ALERT, so in case Russian invades.  If Biden is CLEVER he should really send ARMS the Ukraine Army and Air Force, then if and when Russia invades he cannot be called an appeaser, the Ukraine Army cannot take on the Russia Army, it can only stall for so long before they either surrender or are killed.  The panic will come with Ukraine Refugees coming to NATO borders, will they turn them away, one has doubts, the NATO members of NATO will need US COMBAT TROOPS on their borders to show Putin to back off.  Tense Christmas and New Year ahead.

One doubts that POTUS put Putin in his place, all he has shown is that he is an appeaser in the shape of Neville Chamberlain, the British PM for APPEASEMENT in the late 1930s.  The real question is will Putin think he know has to do something or look weak to the people of Russia, if he cannot get concessions from Biden when it comes to the Ukraine and NATO countries close to the Russia border he might think he has to ACT.  On the other hand Biden has made it clear that he will SEND defence equipment to the Ukraine, the question can the Russian Forces take the Ukraine without a lot of body bags that the Russian leader cannot hide.  The Ukraine people will put up a fight, it could get bloody and as the WAR on goes the US voter will be pushing for Biden to defend the Ukraine, he can not afford another Afghanistan, WEAK Presidents do not get re - elected, aka Jimmy Carter in 1980, who faced the Iran hostage crisis and the invasion of Afghanistan by the Russians.   It has been reported that the Russians soldiers have been told they will have to be on  DUTY during Christmas, and will get the NEW YEAR OFF, thus Putin might be playing games, he might invade on Christmas Day!  That would really ruin the Biden Christmas.  One gets the impression that Putin is playing CHESS, while Biden is playing SNAP and the game has to be taught to him.
