Referendum on Donbas - Update

The Ukraine leader has stated if talks do not go well with Trump then Ukraine will hold a referendum on the Donbas.  The most recent poll shows 75% of the Ukraine people do not want to give Russia the Donbas, they must recall Munich 1938 and the Appeasement of Hitler by Neville Chamberlain and the West, that lead to parts of Czechoslovakia being given to Nazi Germany.  In 1939, Hitler took the rest of Czechoslovakia, the Ukraine is the modern Czechoslovakia, this time the West cannot fail, it would lead WW3

Slow Progress in Ukraine - Russia Talks - Update

Guardian: Reports in its 2.39pm post that there has been slow progress in talks between the Ukraine and Russia over the Ukraine War.

The Ukraine has given up joining NATO, what have the Russians done, just stress their maximum demands again.  Ukraine has to be tough, Trump is an appeaser of Putin, only Europe is standing with Kyiv, and the coalition of the willing.  TRUMP is the modern Neville Chamberlain, and Putin is Hitler, the Kremlin is following Hitler's playback in the Ukraine, its 1938 all over again, the Ukraine is Czechoslovakia, attempting to survive invasion.  What will Europe do to defend the Kyiv Governmemt.

Zelensky meets coalition of the willing - Update

Guardian: Reports in its 1.45pm post that President Zelensky has met the leaders of the coalition of the willing at 10 Downing Street.

Lets Get Real:

Europe, in this case France, Germany, have to decide if they can replace US as the main support for the Ukraine, the UK under Sir Keir is already there, while also keeping POTUS happy, he is peeved that Zelensky has not yet read the new peace plan! Thus the UK, France and Germany and others have to decided how close they want the Russian Bear, Ukraine is like Czechoslovakia in 1938, once Russia gets the Donbas, what stops going for Kyiv later on.   Do Europe want to give security guarantees to Ukraine, they might be called sooner than you think.

A Choice for Ukraine, lose the US or its dignity - President Zelensky

BBC News: Reports in its 3.13pm post that President Zelensky has stated that Ukraine will face a choice, losing the US as ally or lose its dignity with accepting Trump' peace plan for the Ukraine War.

This has been a long time coming, Trump is an appeaser in the mold of Neville Chamberlain, this is Czechoslovakia all over again in 1938, Putin is the modern Hitler, the destiny of the Ukraine will come down to what Europe does, will it appease or support Zelensky in the Ukraine.  Is this the road to WW3? as Appeasement was a road to WW2.

No Nato Troops for the Ukraine - Russia

Sky News: Reports in its 11am post that Russia has refused to have NATO tròops in the Ukraine in the case of a peace deal.

Lets Get Real:

The only way that the Ukraine will accept security guarantees is one that is based on NATO Troops as a trip wire should Russia invade again as Nazi Germany did in 1939 to Czechoslovakia.  PUTIN knows that Trump is his lap dog, and once Trump has talked to Putin is parroting Russian talking points.  UKRAINE should get the security guarantees of the coalition of the willing, backed by the US.

Successful Summit Ends in Washington? - Trump47

Guardian: Reports in its 10.38pm post that the Summit meeting between President Trump and European leaders has come to end.

Lets Get Real:

According to President Trump on his own website the President phoned President Putin of Russia to arrange a summit between Presidents Putin and Zelensky and later the three will meet.   Still no specifics on the security guarantees for the Ukraine and what Kyiv has to give up for the deal to work.  Thus a great political success for Trump, the after glow might leave a bitter taste, it did after 1938 Minich Agreement.

Trump threatening Putin with Severe Consequences if no ceasefire- Trump47

Sky News: Reports in its 5.26pm post that President Trump is threatening Putin with severe consequences if he does not agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

Putin might agree but with conditions that weaken the Ukraine and threaten its security, Putin might want the Donbas in Eastern Ukraine, Kyiv has secured some areas and a land swamp would open up the option of Putin trying to swallow up the rest of the Ukraine, as Hitler did in 1939 with Czechoslovakia after the 1938 Munich Agreement.   The WORLD awaits the Summit on Friday.

POTUS says Putin would allow Europen Troops in the Ukraine- Trump47

Sky News Reports in its 6.13pm post that President Trump has stated the President Putim would accept European Troops in the Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

The problem with the Donald is that he says what you want to hear and then goes back on what he said.  Has Putin agreed to Europan Troops and from what Country, and are they secured by American security guarantee, then Europe and Ukraine would breath more easily.  This of course could be a lie by Putin and POTUS, then we are on the road to WW3, and the Ukraine would be Czechoslovakia all over again.

BBC News: Reports that at the Saudi Arabia meeting between the US and Russia, the Foreign Minister of Russia has stated that there can be no NATO Troops in Ukraine to protect against any Russian violence.

Thus the great betrayal of the Ukraine has begun, this is 1938 all over again, Western Europe has learned NOTHING, Trump is an appesar, up there with Neville Chamberlain, Ukraine is the Czechoslovakia, parts being given away, without there approval, SHAME on the US and Europe.

What if President Trump says NO, what if he wants to sell out the Ukraine because he is impressed by tyrants.  That would force the European Governments in to WAR MODE, one cannot rule out the return of conscription, at least the new recruits would be to taught read and write, even a trade.  The European Capitals should think this 1914 again, after a long peace, welfare has to be cut, the super rich, have to pay high rate is taxes , one cannot rule out WW3, the Russians will be back for more, as Hitler did with Czechoslovakia Republic in 1938/39.  IF the US wants to avoid WW3 it will have to be a security stop even if does not want to be, the World has changed for the worse, and there is no Reagan in the Oval and Thatcher at 10 Downing Street.

 BBC News Reports in its 7.29am post that the UK PM has stated that the UK is ready and willing to place UK troops in Ukraine  if there is a peace deal.

This is a brave and good move by PM Starmer, if Trump wants to sell a Deal, he will need the Ukraine and Europe on board, we recall 1938 and Munich, and then the UK was there, NOW we are in the COLD,  very much like Czechoslovakia was in 1938, and what happened Hitler's Germany came back for more.  2025 cannot be a repeat of 1938.  One wishes that Trump read books, political history, are we doomed to make the same mistakes again.  ONE is wary of a US-Russia deal, and Trump selling out the Ukraine.

Readers just have to read the origins of WW2, the part played by Munich 1938, when the British PM at the time Neville Chamberlain  appeased Hitler at the time at the Munich meeting, the plan was to stop Hitler by appeasing him with parts Czechoslovakia, if he did not invade the rest.  Hitler felt that Chamberlain had cheated him out of a war, the Nazi leader waited a few months then invade the rest of Czechoslovakia, then Poland and WW2.  Kyiv and NATO members will have to keep Ukraine going if Trump cuts military support to the Ukraine.  The road WW3 could be set.

Thus we come to the sell out of the Ukraine by the US, will the UK and the EU also sell out Kyiv, can they carry the cost of the War without the US support and weapons.  The Kremlin will be happy, they have seen their ally Assad fall in Syria, they need some good news, is this Czech Republic in 1938/39, are we on the road to WW3, many have seen the similarities between that period and NOW.  The drums have started, can the World escape the logical conclusion.

This will annoy both Trump47 and Putin, the American President wants appease Putin, the Russian President wants to take the rest of the Ukraine like Hitler took the rest of Czech Republic in 1938/39 after the Munich Agreement between Hitler and Chamberlain.  THE presence of UK troops would be a line that Putin will not want to cross, e.g WW3.

This is the cost of the West, in this case Republicans in the House playing the games, the Ukraine will need more military kit, also the question has to be asked, how much is the West willing to lose in the Ukraine, does it want RUSSIA to take over the Ukraine, does it want to follow the path of the 1930s with Hitler taking all of Czechoslovakia after the West appease him with his original demands.  The UK and the US should consider sending in troops or fighter jets to the Ukraine. Sometimes you are left with no choice, that is better sometimes, otherwise we could be on the road to WW3 sooner than people think.

This is a brave move by the Czech Republic, one can see it as a late response to the USSR invading the then Czechoslovakia, the Prague Spring in 1968.  One can expect the Russians to go hoping mad, one doubts they would ever attack the Czech Republic, as the Republic is part of NATO and Article 5 states, an attack on one is an attack on all.  One wishes the US and UK leadership were that brave, why did POTUS stop the Poland sending old USSR fighter jets to KYIV, it is because Biden is not a leader and he is afraid to upset Putin, well Putin will do what he wants, with no concern about the reaction of the West.  POTUS and the UK PM should send tanks and fighter jets to the Ukraine, the West does not need another genocide, we have learned nothing since 1945.

As previous post, the above is also out of Stalin's playbook, forcing men to fight and shooting them if they run away, how debased and morally corrupt in the modern Russian Army, as we have seen it is very inept and is only winning CITIES like Mariupol because it has a bigger force and is willing to destroy cities to save them.   The Russian State is economically and morally bankrupt, the Putin Regime will do whatever it takes to WIN, use new weapons, also the threat of using chemical and biological weapons, one doubts that Putin is MAD enough to go nuclear, that would lead to WW3.  The Ukraine represents the old Czechoslovakia of 1938/39, sacrificed by the West to prevent a WAR that is coming. It seems history is never learned, humans make the same mistake over and over again.

Like Hitler who while losing WW2 released the V1 and the V2 against the UK, Putin's Kremlin is using its latest military equipment, a hypersonic missile, that cannot be caught by the defences of the Ukraine, in fact cannot be caught be WESTERN DEFENCES.  The President of Ukraine is asking for PEACE TALKS with Putin, the demands by Putin are pretty clear, the Ukraine does not join NATO, has a limited military, also the Crimea and the Eastern Separatists provinces are given to Russia.  The Ukraine President will have a hard sell to sell this to his people after all they have suffered and lost.  One could argue that that Russia is losing this WAR, that is clear by the fighting on the ground, but the Russians have chemical, biological  and nuclear weapons, and one is afraid that Putin is not afraid to USE THEM.  The West will have to guarantee the security of the Ukraine, the KYIV Government should not trust the Russians, it has to tie the WEST in to any PEACE DEAL, just in case Putin comes back as Hitler did in march 1939 to take over the rest of Czechoslovakia, in Putin's case the rest of the Ukraine.

Its the Russians that have form for being WAR CRIMINALS, there brutal invasion against a Democratic Ukraine has shown that they are no respecters of international norms, this is about President trying to recreate the OLD EVIL USSR.  The Ukraine people are suffering because Putin has made it clear that he does not see the Ukraine as a real STATE but part of Russia.  The problem is that Putin wants rewind the clock back to 1997, before Eastern European States joined NATO, he wants the Soviet zone of influence, this of course cannot happen, as it would cause WW3.  The problem is that the Ukraine is very much like Czechoslovakia of 1938/39, as then the Ukraine will be sacrificed to appease Putin as Czechoslovakia was sacrificed to appease Adolf Hitler.  As in both cases the end is on the Polish border and Poland is part of NATO, thus a the West has made CLEAR, it will defend every inch of NATO States.  Is WW3 around the corner and can it be stopped.

The first 23/24 minutes of the speech was good, hit Putin HARD, but only announced that US air space was closed to Russian Planes, if your in Kiev that does not help with bombing.  It seems this blog was right, Ukraine is the modern Czechoslovakia of 1938/39, sacrificed by the WEST, while the trigger point again is Poland and the Baltic States.  Putin must know that the US will not send military troops to the Ukraine, its almost the Biden catch phrase, it seems empathetic Joe Biden does not care if your an Afghan or Ukraine family, his empathy stops at US waters.  The question is what does Putin do if he takes Kiev and is faced with insurgency backed by the West, it seems that all he has to do is threaten Poland or the Baltic State and Biden might STOP supporting the resistance, while the WEST gets stuck in its own rhetoric, the people of the Ukraine will Die.
