While the World's attention has been on the Strait of Hormuz in the Middle East, the WAR that could lead WW3 has been on going, Russia hitting the Ukraine with Drones and missiles, with no concern towards innocent casualties, and the Ukraine pushing the Russians back in the Donbas.  The Russians only want a ceasefire as on May 9th they celebrate their win over Nazi Germany, the grander ceremonies of the past have been replaced with just soldiers due to the worry that the Ukraine would attack any tanks on the parade.  Also reported Putin is afraid of assassination or a coup from his own side.  That is the problem if your tyrant.

The WAR was expected to be short, destroyed Russian tanks had dress uniforms for the the tank soldiers who expected to get to Kyiv within a week! The Ukraine fought back, thus fours years of Trench Warfare, Europe has not seen it since WW1.  The Biden Administration and Europe supported the Ukraine, of 2025 Trump Administration has been a hindrance, demanding that NATO countries pay for the military kit and not signing security guarantees, thus the frozen front line in the front line.  The War goes on.

It should be asked has the Ukraine done a strategic mistake with its invasion of Russia, the aim was to get Russia to remove troops from the East Ukraine and to place them back in Russia, thus far this has not worked.   The Ukraine is pushing forward in Russia, the same can be said of the Russians.   The article notes that Putin has started to call the areas under Russia control by their Imperial name, he does really want the Russian Empire back, thus the Ukraine must make him pay in the Kursk region of Russia, they should try to make the Russia pride hurt, this is not 1941, the Ukraine Army is not killing Russian residents because of their faith or politics, the Ukraine should make the region a freedom area, undermine Putin and his regime.   This could be a long and bloody war, it was Putin's war and he must be stopped.

The Kyiv and Moscow Governments have a problem, the Kyiv Regime is losing ground in the East of Ukraine, while Russia faces its first invasion since 1941.   One should recall that Russian has the man power, even if the smart ones have LEFT, while Kyiv needs supplies from the US and its Allies.   Thus far the above article states that the Ukraine plan for the Russians to divert troops from the Ukraine has not happened, for that to happen the Ukraine needs to push forward, go as far as they can, and start to undermine the Putin Regime, create a free press in the buffer zone, and Radio with the ability to undermine the Putin PR.   The Ukraine Army cannot win in Russia, but it can make the Putin regime very nervous, undermine the confidence of the Russian people, make them ask questions of the Regime, the Ukraine might get lucky with another Coup in Russia by the elite this time, make them understand that their interests are under threat.

One hopes that the invasion of the Russia by the Ukraine forces the people to ask HARD QUESTIONS the Putin leadership.  The contract that Putin has with the Russian people is the return to the glory days of Empire or the USSR.  Thus far he has been a disaster, Russia has the most sanctions on earth on it, more than North Korea, and Putin is a WAR CRIMINAL, and he has made Russian Soldiers WAR CRIMINALS.   The Ukraine Army should go as far as it can, make Putin afraid for his control of Russia, at least Putin cannot use nukes on his own land, he would be mad to so.  The Ukraine should aim for the Kremlin and free the Russian people of Putin.

This was good speech by POTUS, yes it was the teleprompter, the real test for the press will be press conference, can he get though that with taking questions.   The White House press core feel burned by the Biden Oval they will be out for blood.  I can be postulated that POTUS has won the right to be the Democratic nominee of the Party, even if the Democrats have shown no profile in courage, what they think in private is different than what they say to the press.  This does blog does not want to hear morality lessons from the Democrats and the press again, the Democrats sold that out with the press when they did not cover JFK, and his women.    As for the Presidential speech it was good, showing before Trump, it was Reagan's Republican Party, and defended NATO.  The Ukraine will bet more military kit, this blog will postulated that it will take American troops to finish the WAR in the Ukraine, even President Wilson got that fact in 1917/18.   One hopes the press will go back covering the 2024 election, and go after Trump and his appeasement of Putin of Russia.

The article does not states if it was a Western fighter Jet that has been given to the Ukraine or if it was a Western missile, this latest development might be a RED LINE for Putin, let's say for argument sake that Biden wins in November and a Republican House also wins, the influence of Trump over the Republicans will be on the wane, then the Reagan Republican's can return the Republican Party to its past support for the Ukraine.   Thus more US military kit, drones, fighter jets and tanks.  The question is what will Putin do, would he really attack the WEST, NATO States, trying to se how far he can push a new re-elected Biden, that road to WW3 might have been set already.

This is good timing by POTUS, he is in trouble for pausing military aid for ISRAEL over Gaza, at least he is helping a close ally, also he wants to stop the French or Poles sending troops in to the Ukraine to tackle the new Russian offensive.   After Afghanistan and the failure of the Biden Administration and Israel telling POTUS to get lost, he needs to show that he can really run US foreign policy, and be successful.  This is an election YEAR, and November is not that far AWAY, Biden leads in the latest poll by 4%, so he neds to keep a firm control of US national security.  Biden has to hold his ground OVER Gaza, as Reagan did with Israel when they were in Lebanon, also he has to be right, when he was Senator or Vice - President it did not matter what he thought, NOW it matters!!.

The Biden Administration has to get out of its down way, the Kyiv Government has been begging for these missiles for months, the Biden Oval did not want to to cause problems with Russia and create more tension, when will it learn this is the 1930s all over again, Putin is a WAR CRIMINAL, and no politician with any self respects will never shake his hand again.  Putin's Russia is like Hitler's Germany pre 1939, it is only a matter of time before it strikes a NATO Country on purpose or by accident with intent.   The Baltic States should be a worry, Putin is trying to create the former USSR or Tsarist Russia,  when Finland was a Grand Dutchy.  The Ukraine must be allowed to hit within Russia, the people of Russia have to wake up, only they can overthrow Putin and his EVIL REGIME.

The Ukraine forces in the field having growing short of ammo, the Russians just throw men at the front, its a meat grinder, the Russian Forces are using WW2 rule, if Russian Soldiers retreat they get shot, also Putin is using prisoners to throw at the Ukraine forces.   The West needs to increase the Military it to the Ukraine, Putin cannot be allowed to win, that could lead to WW3.  The Biden Administration will need more aid packages from the US Congress, well before the November election, Biden should be planning for that NOW.   There must be no restrictions on the Ukraine when it comes to fighting this WAR, the Kyiv Government should be allowed to use long range missiles and to hit Russia.   This would shock the Russian people and Putin.  Today is a god day for the Ukraine, there need to be more good days.

The aid from the US had taken months, the Trump wing of the Republican Party has bought the Russian line, and therefore does not want to spend a penny on the Ukraine and its WAR with Russia.   The Russian Forces have made gradual advances in the East of the Ukraine, taking back villages and towns that it lost to the Ukraine at the start of the WAR.   There is an expectation of a Russian offensive in May of this year, the new US aid is expected to arrive within this week.   The Russians have increased missile attacks on the Cities of the Ukraine, and have hit Odesa hard.  Kyiv Government was asking for the same defence at Israel has with the Western ALLIES, the UK is sending 500 million to the Ukraine, the Ukraine has to be defended against Russian aggression.   This is the 1930s  all over again.

The BBC has been one sided with its coverage of the Israel - Gaza War, the blog has watched the BBC NEWS sometimes, and wonders if the BBC get the fact that HAMAS is a terrorist group, they lie and use the people of Gaza as hostages, every time Israel hits a building, the people do not blame Hamas, the BBC should, Israel was attacked on 7th of October, the terrorists killed men, women and children , even a family pet.  Those they did not kill they took hostage, and they are keeping women and children as hostages, they know Biden is WEAK, and will place pressure on Israel to lower the level of attacks on Gaza, Europe just wants to appease Hamas, they do not have to live next door to HAMAS, and they would turn down sending troops as peace keeping forces, that goes for Europe too. Israel has to hit hard, get the operation over quick.  This is War Israel cannot lose.

The White House has taken its time in coming out with praise for the Ukraine offensive, the Russians want a negative image of the offensive, the Ukraine and the West has not fought a war like this since WW2.  In honesty everyone thought WW3 would start with a crisis in the Middle East with Iran and its nukes aim or Taiwan and Chia.  The Defence planers thought the non nuclear WAR had its day, the failure of Afghanistan showed that no matter the time and the money that the West spent that you can not force people to accept democracy and its culture.   At least with Iraq, there is some peace with US support, it keeps Iran on its toes.  The Ukraine should aim to take the Crimea, this would undercut Putin at home, of course there is the risk that this could be a red line for Putin,  would he go nuclear, battlefield nuclear weapons to prevent the Ukraine from taking the Crimea, so far his threats have not matched with real action on the ground.  Thus Kyiv should not listen to the doom Sayers, on ward and forward for the Ukraine Army.

The Ukraine offensive is going slow, the Russian resistance without the Wagner Group is strong, the Kremlin PR has warped the minds of the Soldiers and the people of Russia.  The Russians have lost thousands more soldiers compared to the War in Afghanistan. The invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 looks brilliant compared to the invasion of the Ukraine in 2022, if you displease Putin on the military front you die suddenly, if you stage a coup, you gets drinks with him. All very odd, the West has been slow to get the military kit to the Ukraine, the Kyiv Government has been asking for fighter jets for a year, if they had the planes at the start of the offensive, it might had been more successful, another long war, the WEST HAS TO WIN, before the US Presidential Election next year, what if Trump wins, it would be a disaster for US and Western Security.
