The Republican Party is showing a UNITED FRONT, that is more than can be said of the Democrats, those on the Hill who want Biden OUT, are still pushing for that.   The invitation to Governor Haley is new, she kept in the race a long time, the Trump Campaign was not happy, this shows that Trump has learned to do what it takes to win in the Suburbs, women because of the abortion issue tend to vote Democratic.  The campaign knows that it will need to attract the female vote, or least take some women votes from the Democrats, the same goes for the African America vote and other ethnic groups, the campaign is back on track and the Democrats are playing dirty. 

Will Trump BREAK the OTHER candidates in Iowa ? - 2024 Candidate/General Election

The RESULT is not in doubt, everyone agrees Trump will win, the question is who will come in 2nd, either Haley or DeSantis, the question can Trump get over 50% and how much will 2nd get, the third candidate cold be out the race.  ONE does hope that the elite media would treat Trump as a REAL candidate, in 2016 he was the funny clown, 2020 he was the dangerous Mad man who needed to be thrown out of the Oval.  One does wonder will Biden run from his bunker as before.  This blog has made it CLEAR that it will support Biden, anyone but Trump, a third Party candidate would be good.  Thus the year long race starts tomorrow. 

Haley PASSES DeSantis for 2nd in Iowa in POLL - 2024 Candidate/2024 General Election - Biden Era

This is time for Haley to show that she can get close to Trump in Iowa and even beat him New Hampshire, if she is far behind in Iowa and New Hampshire on election day, then she is finished, and thus those that are anti Trump will have to hold their noses and vote for President Trump, Trump is a threat to national security of the US and the West, both Israel and the Ukraine need the support of the US in their WARS.  It could be a long year for those that support the US, and hope that she shows clear leadership when faced with  EVIL enemies from North Korea to Russia. Let's hope the polls are wrong.

The Conservative RIGHT in the Republican Majority are right on one issue, the borders need to be controlled, one of the Anchors on CNN even got that, the liberal elite, press, liberal left in the Congress want open borders, no Country can have that, it destroyed the Roman Empire and is causing problems in the UK and Europe.  The borders need  to be secured, the Ukraine needs US and Western support, and Putin needs to be taken down by the West, like Reagan took down the USSR in the long term.  President Biden is only getting this blog's support for that reason, the Republicans need to find their inner Reagan. 

UPDATE: The US Government was not shutdown, the Speaker made a deal with the Democrats, the stop gap measure does not have funding for the Ukraine.   The Speakers job is on the line, will the extreme right vote to remove him, and how will the Democrats vote.  Interesting few days on the Hill.

The use of the legal process to get Trump might by accident give Trump a 2nd Term in the Oval Office, the American people might prefer a crook to a President who is far to old for the office, and is one step away from a public disaster.  The job of President is HARD, it is not a job for a man in his 80s, Barack Obama had great black hair at the start of his term, after two terms he had aged and his hair had gone white.  In 2020 Biden hid in his caveman bunker in his home and the press covered for him, not in 2024, the public will expect to see their President out there, he will have to show that he can hack it, every step of the way Trump will be after him, about  2020, Hunter Biden and hope some actual policies.  If it is the same race, it will annoy the American people, one does hope the legal process works and brings Trump DOWN, or else he will be the President Elect in November 2024.

The Ukraine offensive is going slow, the Russian resistance without the Wagner Group is strong, the Kremlin PR has warped the minds of the Soldiers and the people of Russia.  The Russians have lost thousands more soldiers compared to the War in Afghanistan. The invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 looks brilliant compared to the invasion of the Ukraine in 2022, if you displease Putin on the military front you die suddenly, if you stage a coup, you gets drinks with him. All very odd, the West has been slow to get the military kit to the Ukraine, the Kyiv Government has been asking for fighter jets for a year, if they had the planes at the start of the offensive, it might had been more successful, another long war, the WEST HAS TO WIN, before the US Presidential Election next year, what if Trump wins, it would be a disaster for US and Western Security.

The Donald has made it CLEAR that he is not turning up for the first debate with other candidates are expected to attend this week, the wiser political minds have stated that they would not sent a candidate to such a debate, he would have a political target on him, the other candidates will attack the 2nd in the pack, Ron DeSantis as their target, the Governor of Florida has tied to move to the right of Trump, it has not worked, he has given the impression that he would abandon the Ukraine, he has to walk that back.  This week is about the Donald attending Court to hear the 4th charge against him in the State of Georgia.  CNN will cover every second of that process, there will be cameras in the Court.  That might make a difference, one doubts, it will look petty to treat a former President in such a way, and Trump will love the mug shot, if the Democrats force him to have one, as Nixon said 1974, hatred of your enemy destroys you first, as Nixon should know after Watergate.  One does hope that Trump attends  the 2nd Debate at the Reagan Presidential Library, it would be seen as a snub to the Gipper if he fails to attend.

This is the reason that President Biden could lose to Trump in 2024, it cant be a Democratic Prosecutor that brings Trump DOWN, it would make him a political martyr and the US would suffer for the long term.  A Republican candidate among the pack has to go through Trump to gain the nomination, Governor Christie  has become the 2nd choice of Republicans in a recent poll in New Hampshire , while the Governor of Florida has fallen back to the pack.  All those candidates that have no hope have to unite behind a moderate candidate who can win Republican voters and moderates in 2024.  All the legal noise will make the voter a law graduate by the end, it should be about politics and what is god for the USA and Western security not about getting Trump.  There is a Republican Debate next week, it looks like Trump will not turn up, he is miles ahead, why would he, Trump has to be beaten in the public square.  The stake is the future of the US and WESTERN security and the fate of the Ukraine.

The former Governor of NJ should not be celebrating yet, its only a 1 point lead, also he has been on CNN nearly ALL the time being critical of Trump.  The former President has a massive lead, also Christie has broken the Reagan gold rule, never attack a fellow Republican, and should by some miracle should Christie win, the uber liberal news networks would go after him, those Republicans on CNN are either never Trumpers or they have sold out to the liberal media elite.  They will never be forgiven by the broad Republican Party.  CNN and NBC have shown they have lost the plot, its the same story ever hour, the woes of the Trump legal problems.   At least The Hill recalls it is about politics, only one poll, there will be other polls after the DEBATE.

In a few months time we will have the first Debate in the Republican Nomination fight, The Trump is not expected to turn up, he is the leading candidate so far, if the turned up all the other candidate would have a got at him, it will be the oddest nomination fight in history, Trump will have to attend Court during the process, he might be found guilty, that does not bother the Trump, he will carry on with the fight,  he needs to win as to PARDON himself on all FEDERAL CHARGES.   The Trump has no shame, even if he is in jail he will carry on, some other candidate must knock him out, to save the Republican Party and the US.

If Senator Joe Manchin does run as a Party third Party candidate in 2024 it will be because he thinks he cannot win  another term in the Senate, it could hand another term for Trump.  Do those that are fed up with the idea of  another Biden vs Trump rematch, want to hand the Oval Office to Trump again, his first job will be to PARDON HIMSELF,  will the US Congress impeach him again, they have twice before!  This would be a disaster for the US, Putin would laugh all way to the Ukraine, and Western security would be BROKEN for good.  Thus it is the job of  POTUS to keep Manchin in the Democratic Party and away from 2024, is Biden up to that job, we shall see over the months ahead.   All Trump has to do is win Iowa and its all over in  the Republican race.

Moscow since the dawn of time has blamed the West for its problems, Putin with his illegal invasion in February 2022 started the present mess, he is a War Criminal who lies as he talks.  The West has done a good job of late in the supply of military kit, let's hope they supply military kit that can bring down the whole Crimea bridge, this time taking down the whole road and train service, without taking human life.  The Wagner group seems to be resting and their leader in official disgrace, but still having meetings with Putin, eve  after the failed coup attempt.  The War could be a long one, Biden  needs to win this before 2024 and the Presidential Election.  There is still a chance that Trump or Trump like candidate could win and become a threat to national security of the West and the Ukraine.

The Wagner movement out of the Ukraine trenches allows the US and the NATO Allies to hit the Russians even harder, it is know that the cluster bombs can be of help, hitting trenches and also getting rid of mines in the way of the Tanks from the Ukraine.  The US really has to give all the military it it can NOW, there is the Presidential Election next year, the War should be over before people vote, what happens if Trump or a light Trump candidate wins, then the Russians under Putin just has to wait for the new Administration to stop funding Kyiv, thus allowing Putin and Russia to win the War.   This is the time for Biden to make up for all his national security mistakes over the years, he need the Ukraine to win, and this year if possible.

The last job approval poll this blog saw was President Biden on 43%  Approval, woeful for a President going for a 2nd Term, there must be someone close to Joe Bided that the time has come to throw in the towel, he is only running because he thinks that the Republicans will nominate Donald Trump for a 2nd term in the Oval Office, what happens if the Republicans nominate someone younger, the present crowd are terrible, there must be someone else, with charisma of Reagan, the Republicans need a 2nd Reagan, to take the fight to the Democrats with a smile on his face.  If POSTUS does run he will be 86 when leaving office, the pressures on the Oval are hard on every President, Obama had nice black hair at the stat if his Presidency, it had gone white after eight years.  The Gipper's hair was black through eight years.  The US needs fresh candidates in 2024, for the security of the Western World it cannot be Biden vs Trump again, American do dot want that race again.

Just to say if either Trump or DeSantis are the Republican nominees for President this blog will support POTUS for re - election in 2024.  That being said, one has to worry can Biden get through the election process and will he last for another four years, the Presidency made Obama look old by the end, so the question has to be asked does Biden have gas in the tank for another four years.   The question has to be asked, is a Biden vote really a vote for VP Harris to take over at some point after 2024 and her poll numbers are worse than those for POTUS.   If the Republicans nominate someone normal, e.g a Reagan Republican who will defend the Ukraine and allow some legal abortion bill to become law, then this blog will support that candidate, does not matter if its Donald Duck, this blog will taken anyone but Trump or DeSantis.  The fall by POTUS today should make the Democrats think about nominating someone else for 2024.

The Agreement between the House Speaker and the President will get through, a majority of Republicans and Democrats will vote for the bill.  After the House it goes to the Senate and then signed in to LAW by the President.  The Republicans should have refused to talk to the Biden White House, they should have kept to their Bill that passed the House.  They should have made Biden swallow their demands, the President and the Democrats would have had to swallow the deal or the US would have defaulted.   That fact the the Republican leader did a deal with POTUS, shows that the Republicans need a new Speaker, one that has steel in his spine.  Thus far Trump and DeSantis have come out against the deal, the Speaker would have had the support of those running for President, and leadership of the Party.   The Speaker folded like a cheap suit, it look like he could be out of job if the Conservative Republicans have their way, he has failed the Party and the Country.

The Governor of Florida will need a lot of money, the Donald is an event itself, so the DeSantis Campaign will need a big ground operation in Iowa and New Hampshire in 2024, this blog has read a article that suggested the DeSantis is training staff to use the phones and to knock on door in Iowa and New Hampshire, the Donald will be a bone with a dog, he will remind voters that it was his endorsement that allowed DeSantis won the Republican nomination to be Governor, also is is commented upon that the Governor does not have a warm personality   that will work with the voters. The Donald has mentioned that in his attacks on the Governor.  At the end of the day it will be down to the voters in Iowa and New Hampshire to hit the tires of the Campaigns to see if they like the Governor or will  they stay with the Donald and his legal problems! Let the fun being folks.

Thus the only real candidate who can challenge the Donald. DeSantis won re-election in Florida by 20 point and has made Florida a Republican State.  DeSantis has gone to the right of Trump on abortion, education and going after the work policies of the Big Mouse himself, not many politicians would do that, on foreign policy he had to walk back in his view that the US should not be supporting the Ukraine, it will be interesting to see if he is asked any question on the Ukraine.  The issue of abortion  is also a worry for the Republicans, their limited view is rejected by a majority of Americans and Trump while taking credit for the US Supreme Court decision wants to make a deal on the issue. Thus the real fight for the Republican nomination starts tomorrow.
