This is never ending, the Russians have been pushed back at the front, Ukrainian drones have hit Russia hard, warehouses that supply Russian Drones with parts have been hit, oil Depos have also been hit, as stated Crimea is in a State of Emergency have Ukrainian drones strikes.  President Zelensky has asked Trump for more Patriot missiles to defend the Ukraine, Western leaders should remember its the Ukraine now, it could be Western Europe next if the Ukraine falls to Putin.

Russia has not achieved its goals in the Ukraine - Updare

It's four years since Russia invaded the Ukraine.

Let's Get Real:

The WAR was expected to be short, destroyed Russian tanks had dress uniforms for the the tank soldiers who expected to get to Kyiv within a week! The Ukraine fought back, thus fours years of Trench Warfare, Europe has not seen it since WW1.  The Biden Administration and Europe supported the Ukraine, of 2025 Trump Administration has been a hindrance, demanding that NATO countries pay for the military kit and not signing security guarantees, thus the frozen front line in the front line.  The War goes on.

Trump NOT FAIR in Ukraine War - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 6.48am post that President Zelensky of Ukraine has called President Trump not fair in his handling of the Ukraine War.

Let's Get Real:

The Trump Oval will hit the roof because of the above comments, POTUS does not liked to be criticised and will take revenge, he is very thin skinned, and might not agree to sign security guarantees, that he has agreed too in the past, thus the War goes on and Ukrainian soldiers and innocent people are killed, Shame on Putin and Russia.

No Breakthrough in Ukraine - Russian Talks - Update

 BBC News: Reports " Talks between Russia, Ukraine and the US aimed at ending Moscow's war in Ukraine have concluded without a breakthrough. "

Let's Get Real:

The failure of the TALKS will not go down well with Trump Oval.  TRUMP has places pressure on the Ukraine to make concessions, he has given Russia a free pass, what happens to his June deadline, does it pass like others, or does Trump wash hands of the business, and cuts the Ukraine off when it comes to military aid, the coalition of the willing will have to back the Kyiv Government, the WAR goes on!.

Talks TENSE between Russia and Ukraine - Russia

Sky News: Reports in its 7.05pm post that Russia has stated that the talks between themselves and the Ukraine was TENSE.

Let's Get Real:

The Kyiv Government should not allow themselves to be intermediated by Moscow or bullied by President Trump.   The Trump Oval wants a quick peace deal and good headlines, President Trump once stated that the Ukraine has NO CARDS, as usual Trump is WRONG, the Ukraine has Europe, who know if the Ukraine falls they are next targets of Putin, it has to be stated that President of the Ukraine has offered a Referendum and elections in the Spring, based on signed security guarantees by the US and Europe, this would include the Coalition of the Willing who are ready to place troops in the Ukraine as a security guarantee against Russia coming back for more in a few years time, this assuming the people of the Ukraine agree to the Donbas being part of Russia, that is not certain that they would support such a deal, whatever Trump wants.  Europe must always have the back of the Ukraine, even if that means an increase in defence spending, that will drive the left of the Labour Party nuts, they just want welfare and appease Russia. 

Trump sets June deadline for END of Ukraine WAR - Update

Sky News:  Reports in its 9.30am post that President Trump has set a JUNE deadline to end the WAR in the Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

JUNE is tough, it's very random, Trump could be thinking about the elections in November.  As recent events have shown Trump is a WIMP, he caves to dictator and bullies Allies, as shown by Greenland, the coalition of the willing might need to back Ukraine over the US.  Does any one see Trump putting pressure on Putin, the answer is NO, so Zelensky should expect to be bullied by Trump to give up the Donbas, the Kyiv will only think about that if the coalition of the willing is allowed to place NATO Troops in the Ukraine as a security guarantee.   The Russians will oppose that idea.  As the article notes there will be more talks in Florida, we shall what comes of the talks.

Ukraine ready to play ball over peace - NATO Secretary General

 Sky News: Reports in its 1.27pm post that the NATO Secretary General has stated thar the Ukraine is ready to play ball on a peace deal, even if the Russians won't.

Lets Get Real:

President Zelensky wants a deal, but Putin wants to win the War whatever the cost in lives.   It has been reported of late that Russian advance has been the slowest of any army in a hundred years.  Trump should allow the coalition of the willing to send troops NOW, force Putin to face NATO Troops in the Ukraine, that might shock him back in to reality of war, how many Russian soldiers have to die for his ego, and it is about ego when it comes to the Kremlin. It is time for the Ukraine to get some solid security guarantees from the US and Europe, this WAR has to end, but not with a Russian victory, that would lead to WW3 in the future.

Its all about the Donbas for Russia - Update

Noted: The Slander by POTUS that NATO did not have their troops on the front line in Afghanistan, the UK lost over four hundred of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan.   POTUS should apologise, he won't, his ego is out of control.

Guardian: Reports in its 10.13am post that the Kremlin is demanding that Ukrainian forces leave the Donbas before Peace Talks carry on.

Lets Get Real:

The Russian demands have not changed, they want the whole of the Donbas, even parts they do not control.  Trump is seen as an appeaser by the Putin, thus he can wait Trump out, and freeze the poor people of Ukraine, in till they give Russia what it wants, a pawn of Russia.  Will Trump walk away and say he did his best, will he stop allowing NATO to buy American weapons for the Ukraine, and what about intelligence sharing, will that carry on.   

US Delegation in talks with Putin in Moscow - Update

Guardian: Reports in its 8.33pm post that US Delegation is in a meeting with President Putin in Moscow.

Lets Get Real:

Thus we shall see or hear President Putin's latest demands and what he agrees to or not with deal. This blog will be shocked if he says YES at all, Russian demands have not changed.  The Russians, Ukrainian and US delegations will meet tomorrow in the United Arab Emirates, is this the last throw of the Dice by Trump, before he walks away?

Russia fires hypersonic Missile at Ukraine - Update

Sky News: Reports that Russia has fired a hypersonic missile at the Ukraine,  in revenge Moscow states for the drone attack on one of Putin's private residences.

Lets Ģet Real:

The suppose attack on one of Putin's homes did not happen, it was a lie by the Kremlin.  The hypersonic missile has a nuclear capacity, this time it was conventional, is Putin sending a subtle message that he could go nuclear.   Europe and the US should take notice, are the Russians winning in the Donbas, also threat to the coalition of the willing, is the Kremlin sending a nuclear threat to NATO.

All Options on the Table whem it comes to Greenland-'Update

CNN: Reports the White House has stated that ALL options are on the Table when it comes to Greenland, including military.

Lets Get Real:

The Trump Oval would be out of it's mind to invade Greenland, its part of Denmark, a NATO member.  This blog is assuming that Trump is winding up Europe, the UK and others have stated support of Denmark, does Trump want to smash NATO, that would make Putin very happy.  Europe needs the US for security guarantees for Ukraine, perhaps Trump thinks that Europe will trade the Greenland for Ukraine, its a very risky move by the Trump Oval.   Ronald Reagan is turning in his grave, what has the US become under Trump, a colonial power?

US to Support Multinational Force in the Ukraine- Update

Guardian: Reports in its 2.39pm post that the US will support a multinational force in the Ukraine.  This is a draft statement.

The PRICE of the above could be Greeland, let's hope not!  The US is the sole Super power left, as Venezuela has shown.   The Trump Oval has a few Countries on its hit list, Colombia, Cuba, Iran, who is next?  The Trump Oval has learned that in foreign affairs the Oval Office has a free hand, in a 2nd term, the Democrats could take the House in the Mid Terms this year.   Thus Trump should use the time before that to make his moves, the Democrats will want to impeachment him again!

France seeks to firm and secure Security Guarantees for the Ukraine - Update

BBC News: Reports that the French President is holding a meeting of the coalition of the willing to set firm and secure Security Guarantees for the Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

The coalition of the willing want the US as a backstop to any security guarantees, thus Venezuela causes a problem and Trump going on about Greenland does not help matters.  Any invasion of Greenland would mean the END of NATO and bring pleasure to Putin of Russia, thus Sir Keir Starmer should get on a plane and visit Trump, to see how serious he is about the idea, and to warn him of if it is a REAL THREAT.

Did Ukrainian try to hit Putin's home ? - Update

Guardian: Reports on the conflicting reports that the Ukraine tried to drone the personal home of Putin.

The Russians LIE as they breath, the article's assumption is that Putin is trying to get in to the head of Trump, after his meeting with Zelensky, he wants to muddy the water as they say, Moscow sees Trump as their puppet, and want to keep that way! 

Call between Trump and Putin soon - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 9.55am post that a telephone call is to take place between President Trump and President Putin soon.

Lets Get Real:

The Kremlin will be pushing for ALL demands to be meet, while Trump is a Lap dog to Putin.   MOSCOW will not be happy about the security guarantee given by the US, it won't give a ceasefire to allow for a referendum, Putin in his black heart wants the whole of the Ukraine and Baltic States back, he wants the Russian Empire back, he is an Imperialist, he thinks the end of the USSR was the biggest tragedy of the 20th Century.

15 year Security Guarantee from the US - Update

BBC News: Reports that US offered a 15 year security guarantee to the Ukraine, Kyiv wants 50 years.

Lets Get Real:

The Kremlin won't like this, also no agreement on the Donbas or the biggest nuclear plant in the World.  At least Zelensky got some security guarantees out of Trump, this should match the European security guarantees, any plan will go to a referendum, what if the people say NO.   Thus more Diplomacy to come, while the people of Ukraine suffer and die.

US and Ukraine agree on Progress after Summit- Update

BBC News: Reports in its 10.31pm post that Presidents Trump and Zelensky agreed that there had been progress in the talks.

Lets Get Real:

This blog was watching a Sky History of FDR, US President from 1933 to 1945.  Then turned and watched the news conference for Presidents Trump and Zelensky from Florida.   POTUS was going through his usual routine, blaming the Ukraine War on the Russian hoax and that Biden was the worse President in history.   POTUS loves to hear himself speak, like a broken record.   The Ukraine President was quiet and lets Trump do most of the talking. Wise move from Zelensky.  At the end of the Summit, not a lot happened at least they did not go back.  Trump has a fetishism for defending Putin!!  Thus the War goes on.  Trump should learn from the leadership of FDR, that was a great President. PUTIN will never agree to the Revised Peace Deal.  The Kremlin wants the Donbas and does not want NATO or European Troops in Ukraine.

Referendum on Donbas - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 12.06pm post that President Zelensky is open to a referendum on the Donbas if a ceasefire can be agreed.

Lets Get Real:

The Ukraine leader has stated if talks do not go well with Trump then Ukraine will hold a referendum on the Donbas.  The most recent poll shows 75% of the Ukraine people do not want to give Russia the Donbas, they must recall Munich 1938 and the Appeasement of Hitler by Neville Chamberlain and the West, that lead to parts of Czechoslovakia being given to Nazi Germany.  In 1939, Hitler took the rest of Czechoslovakia, the Ukraine is the modern Czechoslovakia, this time the West cannot fail, it would lead WW3

Kyiv hit again by Russia - Update

BBC News: Reports in its 11.38am post that Kyiv has been hit again by the Russians, before Zelensky meets Trump in Florida.

Lets Get Real:

This is the Kremlin response to the new peace plan that has been developed by Ukraine and the US.  PUTIN sees Trump as his puppet, so hopes Trump returns to his pro Russian peace plan.   The Europeans must be worried by the erratic Trump, they need to keep him on board for US security guarantees for NATO and the West in general.  Interesting weekend ahead.

No Agreement in tiĺl Trump says YES - Update

Sky News: Reports that President Trump has stated that Zelensky has NOTHING in till Trump agrees.

Here is Trump ego getting away! These remarks show that Trump is attempting to control the NEWS CYCLE, wanting any deal to having his approval.  Thus 10% left of the Deal is still up in the air!! MOSCOW will want Trump to stress their views, interesting weekend ahead.
